Noting the blush on the girl's face, Zero shivered slightly. It was a bit strange, he had to admit, having someone staring at him while he was without a shirt. Without thinking, he went over and picked up her basket, collecting the berries that had fallen from it. "Sorry... I... Uhm...." He held out the basket to her. "You don't want to lose all these berries that you just collected, right?" A small smile appeared on his face and he tilted his head slightly at her. "Uhm... but you wouldn't happen to know the best way out of here, would you?" Golden eyes averted from her face for a moment. What the hell was he doing? It was awkward enough that he hadn't spoken to anyone in the past month; albeit being in a coma was a good reason not to talk to anyone; but considering how awkward he was around females... Sweet Arceus.

Another resonating heartbeat. His mind was racing and he wasn't exactly sure what he was doing. But... nonetheless. It was something. He extended his hand to her. "My name is Zero. I've not traveled this path in a while, so I may need a guide to get me back home... What's your name?"

Keiko pauses for a moment when the scent comes back, stronger then before. Her whole body shudders and she clutches the basket on her arm. The scent was a bit too strong now. She freezes when she hears someone speaking to her. She was too lost in her own fearful thoughts and she bites her lip hard.

She quickly spins around, letting out a fearful hiss that was cut short. Her eyes widened and a deep blush spreads over her cheeks. The basket fell from her hands it hits the ground and the berries roll everywhere.

'A shirtless guy. A shirtless guy, a shirtless guy. Oh shit it's not even my brother! Act cool Keiko, don't make him think your a pervert. Damn it Keiko! Quit staring at his damn chest. Damn, damn, is he noticing this? Oh hot damn.' She thinks as she continues to stare at him with a rather surprised, blushy look. After a few moments she lets out a small squeak and her whole body stiffens.

So I guess prison was a thing here, cause... End credits of Arceus movie, we get to see this glorious young man in the prison xD evidently newton graceland visits him and ehkjashgjkasdjkg?!?!?!? ah well. he's def in prison for some time idek headcanon time XD

Well, this was a new path that he hadn't taken before. Albeit Zero knew most of the forest trails around Sinnoh, he had certainly managed to get himself lost this time. He looked around the forested area when he heard a lovely voice cut through the silence. Oh, there must've been someone else in the forest, and maybe they could direct him where to go. He followed the sound until he found a girl in a clearing, picking berries from a bush.

"Sorry to interrupt, but do you know the fastest way from here to Sendoff Spring?" He hated to admit that he was lost, but he certainly was. A faint blush came over his cheeks as he realized how awkward it must've been for this poor girl, considering that he had left his shirt at the hospital and had torn most of the bandages off his chest and arm. A resonating beat of his heart rang through his mind for a moment before he realized he was simply staring at her. "I... uh...."

Keiko was out gathering some fruit and berries out on a new route she hadn’t explored yet. She yanks another berry from a berry bush and puts it into her basket before reaching up and picking another one. She was singing softly as she went along, her voice pure and gently. She shifts the basket from one arm to another before moving to another bush.

Suddenly she froze when a strange scent wafted over her nose. It twitches a few times and then she bristles. But soon the scent faded for some reason and she looks around nervously before going back to her berry picking.

❛Is it worth it to even head back to Sendoff Spring? Maybe I'll just go there to collect my belongings... and then move on again... no matter how hard that may be...

From a Dream || Open

Maybe it had been a wonderful dream. That must've been it. Zero sat up and looked around, the surroundings registering as a hospital. He groaned and felt a stabbing pain in his chest, looking down and noting bandages wrapped around his torso and right arm. He sighed and tried not to think about what he had seen in that lovely dream.

He had been in love, he had been happy, or had a chance to be... and then ...

"Oh, you're awake! Sweet Arceus, you're a miracle."

Looking toward the source of the voice, Zero spotted a young nurse. She smiled at him. "Miracle...? What happened? How long have I been here?" The nurse sighed and looked at the machines that Zero was hooked up to.

"You were technically dead when we found you... Near Sendoff Spring."

Sendoff Spring... He had met Giratina there... He had been in love... "I... I was dead..."

"Yeah, and you're a miracle for waking up now. We kept you under watch, since you weren't cold to the touch when we found you. And your heart has been beating, but you've been here for about a month..."

The young man averted his gaze from the nurse's face. "Sorry... I guess I got myself into a lot of trouble... But everything's back to normal now, right?" But the look on the nurse's face... No, everything wasn't alright. "What's happened?" And so the nurse explained how when Zero had entered the hospital, patients started to mysteriously die, or become soulless. How Zero had strange marks on his back and side, like he had once had wings that were torn off, and the burns on his side resembled the patterns on the side of ... Giratina... The youth felt tears stinging behind his golden eyes. He tore his connections from the machines and wearily stood up. He pushed his way past the nurse and stumbled out of the hospital, tears streaming down his cheeks. "I guess I'm just like the others... I said I wouldn't leave... and I'm back in the Real World... I'm sorry... that I lied... I didn't think I was... but maybe I'm only human.... and that's all I'll ever be... Never enough to be in the presence of a deity as beautiful as you... Giratina..."
