Amada Super DX Gold (1999)
Another set of Amada stickers! Bright and shiny and gold with a giraffe-esque pattern, it still uses the basic Ditto stock image. Alas! Not the best of the stickers, but it's solid enough.

Pokémon Green Batomen (1999)
And at last, the final Batomen! This one also came over in the English edition of this set (under the Cyclone 2), though I've certainly and sadly been yet to find one for sale. ):

Pokémon Blue Mini Playing Cards Deck (1999)
This 8 of hearts Ditto card is mini-sized poker deck actually came from a set of 3 decks: Blue mini deck, Green mini deck, and Red mini deck; all packaged together as Pokémon Gotta Catch 'em All Mini Playing Cards 3 Deck (UPC-A 073854005682). Based off the date, I imagine it was a quick product meant to really launch the Pokémon franchise in the English-speaking world. It's small size makes it cute but it's otherwise not too interesting.

Burger King Trading Cards (1999)
Part of a set of perforated cards sheets that were distributed alongside the 1999 Burger King promotional Pokémon toys from November 8 to December 31, to advertise for the then-upcoming Pokémon: The First Movie. One the front is the Pokémon with basic information, while the back has a still from the movie.
Incidentally, a ditto toy was part of the set, a spinning top.

Dunkin Boomer Cards (2000)
There was a third set released in 2001, but Ditto wasn't included, alas! They're cute enough. I'm always fascinated by international Pokémon products!

I wasn't thinking when I originally reblogged, but I had the feeling that I'd seen this before... So had a fun little re-dive into this really cute video (because I can't help myself from digging into the Ditto stuff) It was originally posted on the Pokémon Kids TV youtube channel on September 16, 2022 as "Pokémon Jam Session 2"
(Incidentally, there's a lotta cute videos on the above channel AND on ポケモン公式YouTubeチャンネル (Pokemon Fan Club), which posted this very cute Ditto song in 2017! Highly recommended for Ditto fans :) )

We got ourselves a identification!! So this one looks to be part of the Mini Trainer's File set(courtesy of K's Japan Mart), which was 3 small sets of Pokémon fact sheets and a few blanks for note-taking(courtesy of Japanese_hobbyneeds). Best I can tell (from spreads of Files no. 1 and 2), this one came in File no. 3.

Sticker Tag(?) (1999?)
This one is one of the mysteries… I swear this looks like either a clothing or plush tag, but I haven't yet found anything that looks similar. A minor oddity!

Pokémon: Hyper Menko (1998)
I'll be honest, I thought this was from 2006 or later, not 1998! Turns out Amada, while primarily known for it's Pokémon sticker sets, also went into the menko game! It even went out of its way to call itself Maru Menko (Hyper Menko) to distinguish itself from the others. Did they do others? Are some of the ones on this list also by Amada? It's currently unclear...
In any case, this was sold in packs of 7 (assuming I'm reading the packaging correctly, anyway) for 200円. It's a good bit bigger and slightly thicker than other menko, hence it's "Hyper" status.

Ditto (Fossil 3) (Japanese) (1997)
Part of the third main expansion for the Pokémon Trading Card Game (titled "Mystery of the Fossils" in Japanese). It's the first Pokémon card with no attacks of its own, which was why this card wasn't included in the Pokémon Trading Card Game video games. It came in both holofoil and non-holo forms.

Ditto Vmax (Shiny Star V 141) (Japanese) (2020)
Part of the Shiny Star V expansion set (released in English as the Shining Fates set) and the third of four Ditto cards. The Ditto Vmax aren't my favorite cards, but I do like how much they tried to stretch Ditto out, make it look more threatening and massive!

Televi-kun Menko (1998)
Released as an extra in the May 1998 issue of Televi-kun magazine. From what I've found, this was part of a set that included special menko of Pikachu, Mewtwo, the Legendary Birds, and more.
This one is interesting, imo... It's pretty small in size and incredibly shiny! When I first got it, I legit thought it was metal! It's also got non-standard Ditto art on the back (which I'm pretty sure is grabbed from the anime). I also really love that the back got such an off-center misprint. It adds to the charm!

Ditto V (Shiny Star V 323) (Japanese) (2020)
Part of the Shiny Star V expansion set (released in English as the Shining Fates set). The first of two secret Ditto card of the set, and the second of four Ditto cards Speaking of firsts, look! It's the first time a shiny Ditto has been put on a card (to my awareness)! It's not really the nicest card, mostly buoyed by its shiny nature, but I can very much appreciate the gesture.
