I know the concept of hybrids having pets is unusual and may sound weird, but I did my best to make it cute! I’m also not too sure about the title, so I may end up changing it later lol. Enjoy!

Taehyung had a big heart. Too big, his pack would sometimes say with endearment. It was the reason why having six mates was perfect for him. There was never a shortage of cuddles or affection when he had so many people to give it to him. Even on the rare days that he couldn’t receive those things as often as he’d like, whatever affection he did have the chance to be swaddled in was enough to get him through those oh so long days.

And while they could feel in their hearts and in the bond that sang between them that seven was their perfect number, that they were full of love and didn’t need any more, it didn’t mean that their family had to stop there. Taehyung had more than enough love to continue finding others who he could care for in non-romantic ways.

oh louise this is such a beautiful story!!! 😭 insane how festive and softly melancholic i feel after reading it. really takes a person in that Christmassy headspace that we all secretly await for all year lol 🥀 

the struggles between all the boys are so different yet share that common thread of growing up, maturing, having families and with the growing families, newer priorities and gosh you described it all so perfectly. while the entire story is shrouded in a layer of angst for the boys and the absence of their families, there is also that thread of happiness that strings all around it. the hope, their friendships, this family of seven that has grown closer than blood, all of it ties together around the plot like a bright red happy string and an even prettier bow <3

i enjoyed reading how they all had different struggles and different scenarios waiting for them back home. it was different yet in the bigger picture fit really under the common theme of maturing and finally settling down.

all in all it was just...a very healing story i guess would be the best way to describe it. 

i enjoyed it so much! thankyou for writing and sharing your amazing talent with us 💕

oh rid this is so fucking cute i almost feel bad for the f-bomb i just dropped. the seemingly innocuous details that you dropped throughout the fic, like the 28-minutes (which well in hindsight looking at the title is not so innocuous) and the descriptions of their jobs and their feelings in regards to those respective jobs, it all really adds a sense of...realism? i suppose to the fic which makes it more than just 2k of fluff. i absolutely ADORED the way you described jimin like--at his pretty little hands, his strong thighs, his gorgeous GORGEOUS FACE LIKE YES MA’AM GET IT!! my mochi is the absolute cutest little bean ever and you captured the soft boy chimchim energy so well in this fic <33 less than 2k and sfw? for someone who is horrible at reading long fics, this just hits all the spots!! i loveeeeddd it

the way you are writing this fic and taking your time to build up the dynamics so it doesn’t feel too sudden is probably my favorite thing so far. like yes queen give me my serotonin doses 😭💕 i adore how independent, sometimes slight bit stubborn but above all genuine the reader’s characterization is.  it’s so easy to fall in love with your y/n i can’t even imma fight the boys if dey hurt her 😤

“Ugh! I’m sick of all this rambling. When’s Kakashi going to come back?” you sigh, head plopping onto your boyfriend’s shoulder. You waited a few breaths for his teasing reply - he couldn’t help but to drag you after you revealed your favorite character and your totally normal crush on him - but when it didn’t come, your brow furrowed. 

He had insisted on the marathon of his favorite anime, eyes lighting with childlike glee as he explained the premise, but he had been noticeably quiet the last few episodes.

Something was up.

A wayward glance at Jungkook told you that your suspicions were right; his wide rich amber eyes were facing the screen, but the light behind them was absent. He was chewing his bottom lip, large front teeth poking out every few seconds, the hand not wrapped around you rubbing at one of the tattoos on his forearm. All the telltale signs that something was Bothering Jeon Jungkook™.

It didn’t take long for you to know what was on his mind. Reading him had been something you excelled at since day one, his body an open book that you have delved so deep inside you knew him better than you knew yourself. 

On the outside, Jungkook was the embodiment of the word ‘tough’, which would be fitting of a member of his stature. He was part of the well renowned gang Bangtan, something you had known since the first meeting, and he looked the part - typically dressed in all black, clothes baggy and yet somehow still flattering his lean muscles, ink decorating his arms and neck. A single hoop hung from his nose, messy dark hair hanging low in his eyes - and with one look, it had been over for you. 

But that was only one facet to Jungkook.

On the inside, he was marshmallow, soft and gooey and tooth rotting sweet. The type of man who believes in soulmates, who coos at kittens in store windows, who teared up while watching Frozen II (with an adamant cry of, “babe, Olaf is GONE” when you asked if he was alright). He is so thoughtful, always worrying about everyone else - his brothers, his family, you - before himself. A pure heart of gold wrapped in a deliciously decorated package.

Which is why you knew he was still thinking about what happened the day prior.

“Your Highness, King Namjoon is coming to take you home. In fact, he’s only a few kilometers away. Surely you can not stay in your chambers forever,” one of your handmaidens reminded you. You’d lost count of how many times the same message but in different phrasings were iterated to you in the past fifteen minutes. The more you were reminded of his arrival, the more nostalgic you felt. A stomach-churning, head-twisting nostalgia in remembrance of brief moments that felt like a dream. 

Nothing in the world could mitigate the emotions in Namjoon’s gaze towards you from the first time you met him before the marriage had been confirmed. Something as simple as a gaze seemed to resonate in you for eternities. 

The curiosity in his eyes as you told him your two conditions for marrying him.

The wonder in his eyes as he gazed at patterns upon patterns of mehendi on your arms, seeming losing himself in the elegant swirls and floral designs.

The warmth in his eyes as he lifted your veil on your wedding day. 

The depth in his eyes as you requested your personal space on your wedding night.

The softness in his eyes as he indulged in a filling, delicious lunch, all from your hands.

uuf this made me cry. I am usually hesitant about reading fics with MCD warnings but i was hooked onto this storyline ever since u started talking about it and well i am now sobbing. Beautifully written, this is a short but powerful piece. A must read if you wanna exercise those tear ducts :’)
