//Okays - I owe 11 starter replies all for @truethes / @dangaer so I'll work on those gradually but I'm gonna hope over to the canons as the main focus for the upcoming week. So on here will be those replies and the starters I now owe for the muses that are sky high /o/ BUT For now I'm gonna head to bed and read before sleep cause man I'm sleepy...I half blame the wine lol Over next weekend I hope to tackle my inbox too >.< BUT YEAH - going forward any starters I receive I shall aim to respond to within the same week. She was supposed to have been there - a fact that still causes her to shiver, even as she ducks around the guards and makes her way towards the back of the building, her heart racing as she once again thinks over the last message to be sent to her brother. She'd only left for a few moments, only left so she could hear the other end of the phone call from their mother - yet that had been when chaos had struck. She still could barely believe that this venue would be a target for the x-day incidents, a sharp yelp heard as a voice spoke up behind her, blue eyes wide as she spun around to face them, her heart racing even quicker. Who was he!? Why wasn't he trying to stop her? Was he one of the people behind this? She hesitated for a few seconds, trying to tell herself to stop jumping to conclusions. All that mattered was that he wasn't pulling her away from here.

"...it's not an adventure. I'm trying to find my brother...so you can join me if you won't slow me down". She glared at them with a sharp expression, before finally diving inside the ruins, the light of her phone beaming around the shattered remains of a building she used to love so much.

he'd only heard of the situation through word of mouth, but even that had been enough ... given the circumstances, situation, thos place had found itself entangled in. the most recent x-day related incident is no major secret, casualties of both the police-force and passing musicians plastered across the internet and the news it recalls a grim reminder that a so-called justice does not discriminate, does not falter between those who are friendly and those who remain their foes. a harrowing thought, a sobering thought ━━ one that shouldn't particularly end with the sight of a lone girl doing what looks like a break and entry back into the building while the blood is still wet, the tape still brought up, finding the entrance as though it is still a venue and not someones unspoken tomb, evidence and gore still splattered across it's vicinity and to that, to this, does his attention fall away from the night's original plan to sleep on a bench nearby, the intruders he'd so desperately wished to catch now mixed up with a figure perhaps both innocent and not so.

"I think it's going to rain - so finding somewhere to eat indoors would be perfect". He'd been sitting flicking through his phone while waiting on Lia to return with their orders for the day, glancing up as she walked over. He'd been looking for the scores of the other teams himself, working out in his mind who was most likely to be erased that week - a guilty feeling rising inside and the relief he felt when he realised it wouldn't involve anyone that he personally knew. Everything about this current situation was so fucked up, and it didn't seem as though there was any sign of it ending any time soon either. He'd been here for so long now - it was difficult not to simply shrug and give up...If Lia hadn't arrived, then maybe he would have simply allowed himself to be erased by now... "Anyways, where would you like to go then? I say we stay away from 104. It's where the majority of the fighting will be taking place today"

" ...Kira said today is a 'free day', " Lia said, spreading the word to her teammate. It may seem odd for a team to just not even try to meet the goal of a day, but Lia trusted their leader. Kira always made sure they were safely away from last place by the end of the week, so Lia never complained. This just meant that they could spend the day doing whatever they wanted.

And Lia wanted to spend time with Garth.

At least these 'free days' helped keep the team from burning out. They fought their hardest on the days when they actually tried, and that was enough to keep them out of last place. The other days? They were free to do whatever they wanted, independent of the rest of the team. It kept morale up. And it gave Lia time to spend with him. " ...Want to get something to eat? "

He'd glanced up when he'd noticed the rain was no longer hitting the edges of his hood, a confused and rather tired expression on his face as he gazed at Moze. A few seconds passed before he finally shook his head. He'd been trying to hide within these bushes to avoid the worse of the storm but the weather had refused to shift at all. "...I was going to look for food after the storm", he sighed, glancing up at the dark sky, "...but that may be a while". Maybe he should steal an umbrella in the near future...

He eyed the boy. Still not sure what to make of the kid but instead of just ignoring the kid he sighed and walked over to hold his umbrella over the kid. "The storm isn't passing soon. Have you eaten?"

Yeah, he'd need to be an extra type of dense to not have caught onto the waiter's attempts, but it wasn't his fault either that she hadn't got the hint, that he wasn't about to hand his number out to anyone anytime soon. Only a few few select people had his number - it was for their own safety...and the fact he was only friends with a handful of people. He'd only came to the cafe to study as it was proving impossible to do so at home. Elise was throwing tantrum after tantrum, and he couldn't deal with his father bending over backwards to aplease her like always. Which was why there were several medical books laid out over the small table. Anyone could tell he was there to study - so how was it his fault that some waitress had kept hovering nearby and tried to strike up a conversation?

"...you may be the type to give your number out to anyone who asks but I'm not...anyway don't you know it's rude to listen in on people?", he raised a slight eyebrow, gazing at him for a second, before handing over one of the untouched cups on his table, "Here. This is still warm".

❛      oh, my ... seems like they were right when they told us all to watch out for the quiet ones. ❜ is the casual comment kei offers, dropping the book once that once served in covering his full expression, the sole and once assumed to not be listening witness towards a chain of events he supposes couldn't have gone worse even if he had attempted to intervene half way through. ❛ that young lady was trying her best to leave here tonight with your number, couldn't you tell?  ❜ paired alongside a familiar sort of smile, playful in his reprimand; between the free drinks and the playful touches to his arm, the reserved smiles and attempts at lingering in their particular area, it'd be hard for anyone to argue a lack of interest on the waitress' side for this now well fed man and the SP officer with a once again empty cup, struggling to catch her eye in order to grab another. ah, well, he supposes it's not a complete problem; days off like this are truly a rare occasion, given current circumstances, and there's no denying the experience itself to be rather exciting. this poor girl, all those attempts and not a single one picked up. he'd call it revenge if he were a little more self-centred. ❛ how cruel, do you intend to discredit her feelings so openly?  ❜ / @diverse-hearts-ocs ♥'d for a starter!

He knew that whenever Kira came looking for him it was never going to be good news, but he was surprised by what she said. Usually by the third day they'd have earned the right to a day off, if not half a day, but it seemed as though the last few weeks had been growing rather intense. Garth glanced up towards the sky for a second, as though somehow he'd get an answer from above, before scrunching up the wrapper of the burger he's been eating and tossing it into the nearby trash. "I may not enjoy these dumb missions but I agreed to help you when I joined and I intend to stick to that agreement. What's todays task anyway?". He pulled out his phone to pull up the messages he may have been ignoring while he ate. It wasn't as though he wasn't a team player - but it was true that he often needed to be prodded a little to actually do something worthwhile.

"How many teams are left?". Okay, maybe he should start paying a little more attention than this. It wasn't fair to put this amount of stress on Kira's shoulder's alone.

Even without knowing how this Game would run normally, Kira could tell that what they were dealing with was abnormal. It defeated the entire purpose to have the "leading team" stay in the Game over and over again every week. Something was wrong with the Ruin Bringers... But until they could determine what that was, all the Twilit Stars could do was survive.

As the leader of the team, Kira tried to keep things as light as possible. She worked hard and strategized for her team, but it did no good to push everyone to their limits. They still wouldn't end up in the top no matter what she did. So, Kira kept things steady and calm...unless they were in any sort of danger.

" We're second from the bottom this week, and that won't do, " Kira said as she addressed Garth. She already had this conversation with everyone else, but since Garth wasn't there when she did, Kira was going to repeat herself. " I know it's only the third day, but we can't risk being anywhere near the bottom. Middle is good, higher is better. " She then sighed, dropping her serious expression just a bit. " So Garth... That means that we really have to work hard today to go up in rank. And that includes you. I know how you feel about this game, but... " They all had to do their part.

"Hehe, I knew you would be".

He grinned as he took hold of Yumeno's hand, hurrying with them through the corridors of the Port Mafia tower, careful to avoid anyone that may still be awake this late at night. This was simply the type of chaos they tended to get up to when left to their own devices for too long - Garth wasn't the most ideal parental figure, that was for sure.

"Okay, did you mix up the solution enough?", he chuckled slightly as they paused just outside the infirmary, Garth grinning as he took the capsules from Yumeno, "Alright, stay here. We can hide out here to watch the chaos". He grinned, a quick kiss given to their head before he hurried out to plant their trap, hiding back at Yumeno's side, waiting for their victim to arrive.

And that appeared ro be Daichi. Opening the door caused a spark to go off above his head, before glitter and foam rained down over him, the man cursing and glaring around for any sign of the culprits, Garth clamping a hand over his mouth to stop from being heard.

"You better not still be here", Daichi snapped as he started to look around, "I'll fucking skin you alive brat!"
