If I close ask and submit, that means I don't want to take messages.

If I say I'm busy until February 2 with something literally every day, what makes you think I'm going to sit down on my first free day in a month (a day which has been FAR from free in reality) and pump out an update for some AU? 

I've been spending 12 hours at school every day since winter break ended. I haven't gotten a good nights sleep in a month. I'm so behind on homework it's not even funny. I have an interview Wednesday and a concert Thursday, and a two major deadlines Friday. I have two people waiting for commissions from me, which I have not even been able to start this month.

I am a human being. This blog is not my only job. I am not a machine that doesn't get tired or doesn't have emotions. I don't have unlimited knowledge or creativity. I don't exist to pump out some AU for your satisfaction. I will work on it WHEN and IF I have the time, motivation, and will to do so. Not when you message me demanding that I do so.

If you're unsatisfied with what I'm doing here, go create your own states AU.

I feel like I just can't write as much for Oklahoma because I never spent time roleplaying her like I did Texas.

Profiles will probably become shorter with time because Texas was the state with the most development.

Here's my suggestion, you could call Massachussets Jimmy instead of James, that way we're both happy.

Are you sure you don't like James Adams as the name for Massachusetts? I do.

I feel like based on my current design for him, it doesn't really fit. James seems like sort of a gentlemanly name to me, and Mass is far from a gentleman.

Since the Newtown school shooting, I've been wondering: what are you going to name Connecticut? Is Connecticut male or female? What hair color/eye color does Connecticut have?

Connecticut was one of those states I hadn't really done a lot of research into yet. He's male and has short blond/brown hair, and is a little on the short side, but I don't have many of his traits figured out beyond that.

Now there's this portrait that you posted on deviantArt called States People Ask Me About. I remember most of the states' names (Hawaii is Kai Molina, Alabama is William Evans, Texas is Randy Houston, Oklahoma is Shawnee McAlester, Pennsylvania is Catherine Harris, Arizona is Jose Garcia, and New York is Anthony Baker). But the problem is, I don't remember the names of Massachusetts, Ohio, or Montana. Do you plan on naming them? If so, what are you going to name them?

I do plan on naming all the states, but at this time I've only named about half of them (most of them Southern states).

Massachusetts' name was going to be James Adams, but I don't really like it and am thinking of changing it. Ohio and Montana hadn't been named yet, but I think Ohio was one of the ones I was going to name next.

Now about that unemployment picture, what do you plan on naming Rhode Island? I'm just curious.

I looked back in my files and couldn't find a name, so I don't think I'd really thought about his yet. Suggestions would be happily appreciated!

This project's sort of on indefinite hold.

Most likely I won't have time to do any of this until after the New Year.
