The impassive woman looked with chilly, blue eyes up at the large man, unbothered by his intimidating size. Friendliness in his voice made her at ease; all the while, the certainty of her goddess's guidance always kept her quite relaxed. Besides, his words were frivolous, yet at the same time they were amusing, enjoyable, recalling times long ago when life was easier, focused on fleeting pleasures.

" Why don't you show me sometime ? You sound quite taken by them. "

      “Yer jokin’, right? Tug on m’bloody collar all ya want, but — y’mean t’tell me y’ain’t ever had firecakes ‘fore? Gods above … yer missin’ out on half the joys o’life!”

i made divinia's background be that of an acolyte, which she is a very dedicated selunite, but i also think she may be a bit of a folk hero. she doesn't seek recognization for her accomplishments, as she does all for the good of the people, in the name of selune. but i'm sure people have heard of the pale blue, silver haired tiefling paladin/cleric that drifts through and tries to right the wrongs of a village's woes. i imagine her wandering all across faerun, on the path to bring the moodmaiden's light to all corners, instilling order and justice where it most needs it.

One of Divinia Ayla's greatest accomplishments was saving Reithwin Town from the Shadow Curse and helping turn Shadowheart away from Shar's influence and encouraging her to spare the Nightsong. As a Paladin/Cleric of Selûne, it was her calling, a divine duty, to dispel the Shadow Curse and save Shadowheart from losing herself to Shar's wicked hold, protecting the Moon Maiden's daughter from her final death. Working closely with Halsin to reunite Oliver and Thaniel in safety, ending the traitor Ketheric's life was the only true course of action. Even if Divinia tried to appeal to Ketheric's former faith, to remind him of his love of Melodia, his wife and daughter's dedication to Selûne, to pursuade him to return to Selûne and renounce Myrkul, the righteous vengeance of Dame Aylin could not be interfered with. Once Dame Aylin appeared before Ketheric, Divinia could only concede to her wishes. This is one thing among several Divinia regrets from her journey through the Shadow Cursed Land. Among other things, her deep regret around the deaths of the tieflings traveling from the Grove gave her restless nights, seeing them strewn about the grounds on the way to Last Light.

Paladin of the Ancients, Cleric of Selûne, Light Domain | Mephistopheles Tiefling | Acolyte 

Virtue name is Divinia like ‘divine’ and Ayla from Turkish meaning ‘halo of light’. Name at birth from Kalista (Greek) meaning ‘most beautiful’ and Ainir (Turkish) meaning ‘moonlight’. Xaphan is the name of a fallen angel aligned with Satan.
