So a little bit of something different from us today. We thought we would share heraldry from some of the places that have been mentioned or visited in Some Other Heroes So Far.
First up the city where it all started. Cloud's Cairn
*
Next up is the Flag of the Royal nation of Daclain, where Malwind (where are adventurers currently are) floats close to the boarder of the Empire.
The Sun and moon represent the two major religions of the region, Those belonging to Sister Sun and Brother Moon.
* The banner of the Misktrium Empire depicts two dragons entwining a sword representing the strength of the Empire. The imperial crown sits above flanked by those of the 4 major peoples who make up the empire, Dragonborn, Human, Dwarf and Halfling. The 4 grey gems show industry
*
The Ashor Thalasocracy is the youngest of the great nations. Its flag is a mighty airship and the lands they protect on a sea of cloud. The power of their freedom has broken the chains that others would put on them a constant reminder of their goals to not be ruled or be ruly.
*
The City of opportunities; Vadarak. A chaotic place that loves the flow of coin and commerce above all. The Great rooted scales represent how trade nourishes all that the city touches and the seals of the 9 Guilds who run the city are attached below.
*
And finally: Fallen peak, A Dwarven city now a haven for Artificers, engineers and shipwrights of all people. The 2 axes are for the Wuix & Dvergr who joined hands & rebuilt after Ascention & A Crown remembers the now exctinct line of Dwarven kings who brought them to the skies.

I’m building a dnd class rn called “Just Some Guy” and the whole thing is that they are just supremely bad at combat and ability checks the whole time. at level 20 u get an ability called “Fucking Finally” where u get the level 1 abilities of another class. ur hit dice are d4s and the only thing u have proficiency in is improvised weapons. this is the funniest thing I’ve done in a hot minute

Hello lovely people!
Just a reminder that we are BACK with another episode this coming Sunday.
Rok and Aisling are making their way to the Town of Malwind and possibly to the first of the sky temples
Without Eugene there what mischief will they get up to?

How To Support Indie TTRPGs
A lot of indie ttrpg people are coming back to, or trying out tumblr for the first time. For better or for worse (I'd argue worst lol), twitter has been the main marketing tool and driver of sales for a lot of indie people. Whether or not twitter is going to completely fade away, who knows! But it's never a bad idea to take some eggs out of that single basket.
So what does that have to do with tumblr? Well, if you see a post about an indie ttrpg (games, art, podcasts, streams, design, whatever!) give it a reblog! Same as you'd do for any cool art, gif, video, or music!
Want to take it a step further? Go check out that person's links (which related, to all the posters out there, make sure your links to your itch pages, drivethru pages, personal sites, etc are handy!) and here's the crucial part, if you think something is cool, buy it! Indie ttrpg stuff is nearly always wildly underpriced (which is a convo for another day), so chances are you can find something that's within your budget.
If you can't buy it, bookmark it for later! Also, it's super common for itch.io creators to have a pool of community copies freely available for their games. Take one! Check out the game! If you like it, buy it later! If you grab a community copy, an extra cool thing you can do is leave a 5-star rating!
I would love to see the indie ttrpg sphere flourish on tumblr, but that can't happen without support! So show your favorite indie ttrpg creator some love, and also go exploring to find some new favorites!
