"In a statement, his family said: "It is with more sadness than mere words can convey that we have to report that our beloved Ozzy Osbourne has passed away this morning. He was with his family and surrounded by love."
As he performed from a throne on stage at Villa Park less than three weeks ago, Osbourne told fans: "You've no idea how I feel - thank you from the bottom of my heart."
It was a gig put together with performances from some of his favourite acts, including Metallica and Guns'n'Roses, for the 76-year-old's "final bow"."

I love the implication that all of huntr/x's songs are about taking down demons like you tune into korea's top girl group yeah they're talking about hunting people for sport again, yeah it's trending on melon and just won inkigayo, they only kill people in their mvs. i wonder what the group with a hunters concept will do next! will it be a song about first love?

“I asked chatgpt—”
Well, I asked the washerwoman, whom I found using red sea glass after hearing the phrase "Light bent through prism, blood red door, only for those in need," and she told me, "When the ground moves and the bird cries, stop looking without, and look within."

i don’t get horror movies, why doesn’t the protagonist just act in a way which will prevent a story from being told or piece of entertaining media made

the subplot in Falsettos fully about Marvin trying to get his lesbian bestie hired as the caterer for his kids Barmitzvah and her trying to learn to make Jewish Cuisine and really sucking at it is so funny. and then they end it so beautifully with all her work paying off and it being delicious. fantastic

i'm coming here to talk about this bc most of the tt squid game fandom seems to lack the ability or willingness to acknowledge nuance lol. there's a huge discussion/debate over namgyu and whether or not he's misogynistic and i wanted to give my two cents based on not only his behavior in the show but also the statements given by cast members and producers about his character.
i want to start off by saying that he 1000% is misogynistic towards semi. i personally believe that has more to do with the attention thanos gives her than the fact that she is a girl but, even still, the things he says about her a gender based an sexist.
i personally do not believe he says anything misogynistic about junhee. yes he does belittle and demean her when talking about her, but it's clear that he only does it to get a rise out of myunggi.
i saw someone claim that namgyu specifically targeted/killed women and not only is that blatantly untrue, it felt like a huge misunderstanding of his character. he has no intention on picking and choosing specific murder victims- in fact, he makes it abundantly clear that he has the intention to murder who ever he can, especially those that he deems weaker than himself. i think a perfect example of this is how he treats minsu. namgyu wants to feel strong so he puts down other people and treats them horribly. he makes fun of minsu for being weak and cowardly, and he insults semi with sexist insults.
this is something i find particularly interesting and compelling about his character- namgyu views men as being "weak" if they are not strong (physically and emotionally), brave, and willing to take charge. he views women as being "weak" if they are trying to get men's attention, not able to compare to men, or defy their male peers in any way. this is all very binary thinking and suggests a conservative background and history with strict beliefs and values pushed on him by family or other community. despite these conservative beliefs, namgyu goes against the binary in a multitude of ways- he wears his hair long, he has tattoos, he does drugs and works in the night life scene. this is complete speculation on my part, but if seems like his outward hatred of those who break the binary is possibly some self hatred coming out as anger against others. namgyu views himself as weak, but instead of accepting that and trying to change, he instead chooses to force his own pain onto others that are similar to him in one way or another.
all this to say, yes namgyu has misogynistic and frankly conservative views of the world, but i don't think it's a stretch to say that those beliefs come from both a traditional background and also his own insecurities. obviously that doesn't justify or excuse his actions, but i think it's an explanation that a lot of people don't want to consider bc they just want to argue that he's evil.
