Free Your Imagination: Why You Should Play DnD 5e New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/free-your-imagination-should-play-dnd-5e/?feed_id=2412&_unique_id=687e2d53657ad More: #EDITORIAL_OPINION #RULES_FOR_DND_5E Are you looking for something new and exciting to do? Have you ever wanted to explore a fantastical world full of adventure and danger? If so, then you should try to play DnD 5e. Dungeons and Dragons 5e is the classic role-playing game that has been around since 1974. I started playing in the mid '90s. It’s a game that allowed me to create my own story (learn more about it on this site) and explore a world of your own design. In DnD 5e, we can choose to be a brave warrior, a powerful mage, a devious rogue, or any other character type we can imagine. Our possibilities are as endless as our imagination! So, what is Dungeons and Dragons 5e? Dungeons and Dragons 5e is the fifth edition of the world’s most popular tabletop role-playing game. It is a game of imagination, creativity, and storytelling. Players take on the role of characters that they create and then cooperate to tell a story. Each player is responsible for describing their character’s actions and speaking their character’s dialogue. The game is played with dice and miniatures on a grid-based map. The game is usually overseen by a DM (Dungeon Master) who is responsible for the setting, enemies, and plot of the story. Players cooperate to overcome obstacles and complete the story. The best thing about Dungeons and Dragons is: that you cannot lose. Yes it is a game, and in games, we are told there are winners and losers, but this is a weird game. It is made to have fun, not to compete. I see the quizzical smirk on your face. This is not a sales pitch, it is reality. When your character dies in DnD you make a new one. The new one is just as strong as the previous one, and you can continue almost where you left off (your DM is your friend, not your judge/jury/executioner).  When you do not achieve what you wanted, you can try again, or you can aim higher, or just go carousing. This game is about fun! Other benefits to Play DND 5e Playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e is a great way to exercise your imagination, use your problem-solving skills, and make new friends. DND 5e is also a great way to escape from the real world and explore new places. Don;t smirk at me! it is that good: A great way to exercise your imagination because you are given the chance to react to situations that will never come to pass in real life. How often do you get to teach the meaning of friendship to a dragon? (Google this, Critcrab has an amazing video.) Problem-solving skills galore! Since you can think up anything on the spot, a locked door can be: a chance to try out your new lockpicking tools or maybe cast a spell to open the door, or destroy it, How about your crowbar? and if you do not have one with you, how about that huge axe your barbarian friend uses to cleave enemies? But you may say, that guy has the key? Let's pick his pocket! or intimidate him, or convince him to open the door for us, or seduce him! You can even try to go around to a window, or if the door is too strong, you can go through the wall! Make new friends and expand existing friendships. Having a reason to get together every week for 5 hours will turn aquentances into friends. And you will have stories to tell to others that have "seen that movie" or Stranger Things, or just overhear your latest dragon treasure! and escape from this world... I know this can be a boring world, but play DnD 5e and I dare you to call that boring! After the third village you save, you will be famous enough for the mayor of the large city to ask for your support for the next election, of your help with that little cursed building next to her house! (I see no smirk now, do I?) You can even sell it to your therapist: To play DND 5e also helps to build confidence and self-esteem. As players create
and develop their characters, they can take on roles that they might not normally take on in real life. This can help to boost their confidence in both the game and in their real lives. Starting Your Own Campaign So, you’re interested to play DND 5e. The first step is to find a group of people to play with. You can usually find players amongst your friends or you can try in your local RPG shop or online. Once you have a group of players, the next step is to create a campaign. A campaign is a story in which the players will take part. The DM is responsible for creating the campaign and running the game. The DM sets the setting, creates enemies, and creates the plot of the story. The players are then responsible for playing their characters and interacting with the world. Let's not get into this here, I have an article for you that details things for a new DM. And never forget, we are here to help you! Not just me, yes this site will always have new ideas for you to use in your game, but here are hundreds of creators, some are also free, some are on youtube, and all of us want you to have a good time. It is the definition of what a hobby community is. Creating Your Character Once you have a group of players and a campaign, the next step is to create your character. A character sheet is used to keep track of a character’s stats and abilities. When creating a character, you must choose a race (also called species or lineage), class, background, and alignment. Each of these will have an effect on your character’s abilities and how they interact with the world. You can also choose your character’s skills, feats, and spells. Skills are abilities that your character is better at due to their training and experience. Feats are special abilities that give your character an edge in certain situations. Spells are magical abilities that can be used to manipulate the environment and defeat enemies. I have an article for the details of creating your character. We can only fit the most essential things on this page: Understanding Character Archetypes When creating your character, it is important to understand the different character archetypes. There are four main archetypes: tank, damage-dealing, support, and utility. Each of these archetypes has its own strengths and weaknesses. The tank archetype: focuses on taking frontline damage and protecting the party from harm. Tanks have high hit points, and strong armor, and often use weapons and shields to protect their allies. They are often frontline fighters who use their body as a shield to absorb enemy attacks and provide protection for the party. Tanks also have other abilities such as taunts, which force enemies to attack them instead of weaker characters. Finally, tanks usually possess special abilities that give them extra protection against certain types of attacks - a good example of this is the Barbarian's rage. The support archetype: focuses on giving a tactical advantage, aiding and protecting their allies. Supports use a variety of abilities to enhance their allies’ capabilities, such as healing, buffing, debuffing enemies, and even providing temporary resurrection. Supports also possess a variety of defensive capabilities to protect the party from harm. They can provide magical shields or protective barriers around the party, as well as use crowd control techniques such as stunning or disarming foes. Finally, supporters often possess other abilities such as leadership or tactical advantages which allow them to better coordinate the actions of the party. The damage-dealing archetype: focuses on dealing large amounts of damage to enemies. Damage dealers use a variety of weapons and/or offensive spells to deal high amounts of damage quickly. They often possess abilities such as critical strikes, which allow them to deal extra damage when they land a successful hit. Damage dealers also have access to other abilities such as crowd control techniques, allowing them to incapacitate multiple enemies at once or limit their movement.
The utility archetype: is a type of hero that focuses on providing a variety of useful abilities to the party. Utility characters often possess skills that can be used for various tasks such as scouting, gathering information, and unlocking doors. They also have access to magical spells that can provide the party with unique advantages such as enhanced vision or healing effects. Utility characters are also capable of performing other useful tasks such as crafting items, repairing equipment, and disabling traps. Finally, they often possess special abilities which provide the party with an edge in combat or allow them to complete certain objectives more quickly. Rules of DND 5e The essential rules of play DND 5e are fairly simple. The DM sets the rules and the players must follow them. The most important rule is to have fun. As long as everyone is having a good time, then the game is a success. The core rules of play DND 5e are based on the rules of the game. Players must abide by the rules set forth by the DM. The rules are designed to keep the game fair and fun for everyone. Please note that rules are expanded and reworked with frequency. Your DM can inform you which set of rules will be used. Please respect his desition because you need her focused on the game and not on the rules. How to Find More Players Finding more players can be difficult, but there are several ways to do it. You can look for local gaming groups in your area or look for online groups. There are also several websites and forums dedicated to DND 5e where you can find players. You can also reach out to your friends and family to see if anyone is interested in playing. Word of mouth is a great way to find new players. You can also advertise on social media or in your local area to find new players. Where to Find Resources and Help There are plenty of resources and help available for play DND 5e players. You can find rulebooks, character sheets, and other resources online. There are also several websites and forums dedicated to play DND 5e where you can ask questions and get help. The official Dungeons and Dragons website has plenty of resources and helpful articles. You can also find official adventures and campaigns to play. Finally, there are several books available that can help you get started and understand the game. Conclusion Playing Dungeons and Dragons 5e can be a great way to exercise your imagination and escape from the real world. It is a great way to make new friends, build relationships, and boost your confidence and self-esteem. If you’re looking for something new and exciting to do, then you should consider playing DND 5e. Be the next new DM, we have your back! Just play dnd 5e!

Magical Items of the Grey Dragon World New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/magical-items-of-the-grey-dragon-world/?feed_id=2402&_unique_id=6874f369459ea More: #ITEMS #RULES_FOR_DND_5E #AMBASSADOR #MAGIC_ITEM Magical Items Magical items made by the Wizardlanders have an expiration date, never more than 200 years, often 100 years at the time of creation. In addition to that, it is expected that magical items of the GDW look different than the ones found elsewhere (i.e. a amulet of wound closure might have the face of a dragon on it). Magical items that have a number of finite uses cannot be reloaded after the 100-200 year time limit (in rare circumstances this limit can be lower). Outsider items and items created by non-Wizardlander locals are not limited. This is an attempted powergrab by the nation of Wizardlanders, not a quirk of the world. Magic Items shop (in cities with a Wizardlander ambassador - "court advisor") Magic weapons, and damage oriented items are never sold in these shops, and magic armor is never sold in states in war or close to war. Most magic items sold here have limitations Have a expiration time - at the time of creation it is usually 100-200 years. Akmost all non-time-limited items have a total amount of charges that cannot be recharged. Scrolls, potions and other single use items are sold at a variety the court advisor "absolute" discretion. Items created before the limitations and items of non wizardlander origin are often bought and very rarely resold, always at a high premium. Non-Wizardlander Sales happen openly and without limitations. Always expect a representative of the Wizardlanders to attempt to buy items without limitations at a better than average price. Wizardlanders ambassadors have uniformly the same "home" from which they buy and sell magic. Just like this:

The Grey Dragon | From Egg to Moon New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/the-grey-dragon-from-egg-to-moon/?feed_id=2362&_unique_id=685008c63ed22 More: #DRAGON #LORE In the annals of mythology and the tapestry of fantasy, the Grey Dragon emerges as a figure of unparalleled grandeur, a luminary among the celestial Gathering Council of Dividuals and Individuals. This Gathering Council has illustrious members like Ao, Eru Iluvatar, Nyx, Chaos, Nun, Rod, Nammu and many more Prime Gods called "Dividuals and Individuals". Veiled in an aura of mystique, this transcendent being graced the mortal realm in a wondrous display, his essence encapsulated within a dragon egg that descended from celestial heights as a resplendent meteor. In a breathtaking spectacle, the egg collided with the terrestrial plane, birthing a magnificent lake that would come to give birth to the magic born elven civilization in its ethereal embrace. The Awakening Thus, the Grey Dragon's arrival, aptly called the Awakening, heralded an era of transformative magic that forever altered the fabric of reality. Emerging from his celestial shell, the Grey Dragon manifested as an embodiment of awe-inspiring might and ancient sagacity. He stood as the celestial maestro, orchestrating the convergence of celestial energies and primordial forces that coursed through his majestic form. His very presence radiated an ethereal luminescence, evoking the divine essence that stirred within his timeless being. As the celestial luminary of dragonkind, he assumed a role as both guardian and muse, intertwining his essence with the dragons who will roam the realms. Birth of the Dragonmothers In a display of celestial alchemy, the Grey Dragon gave birth to his daughters, the dragonmothers, infusing them with their individuality and distinctive attributes. These earthly matrons, each representative of a specific breed of dragon, embodied the nuances and splendor of their draconic lineage. Born from the essence of their divine progenitor, they bore the hallmarks of their celestial heritage with resplendent grace. Healing Magic The Grey Dragon, a celestial luminary of wondrous majesty, possesses a profound focus on healing magic. His breath, unlike the fiery storms of his kin, carries a gentle zephyr imbued with ethereal rejuvenation. Where it touches, wounds mend, ailments ease, and life blossoms anew. His presence resonates as a soothing balm, mending both body and spirit, bestowing renewed vitality upon those who seek his aid. The Grey Dragon's divine touch is a beacon of healing, a testament to the power of compassion and restoration that radiates from his celestial being. His Breath Weapon The Grey Dragon's breath weapon transcends conventional notions, embodying the very essence of restoration and fulfillment. With a gentle exhalation, he unveils a celestial symphony that resonates throughout the realms, heralding the end of sickness and the end of lack. Within the ethereal cascade of his breath, the stagnant tendrils of illness dissipate, banished by the currents of rejuvenation. It weaves a tapestry of renewal, infusing afflicted bodies and weary souls with vitality, granting respite from ailments that once plagued them. The touch of his breath becomes a soothing balm, dissolving the bonds of suffering and ushering in an era of restored well-being. Yet, the transformative power of the Grey Dragon's breath extends beyond physical healing. It reaches deep into the realms of desire and longing, heralding an end to lacking and want. With each exhalation, the celestial zephyr carries with it a current of abundance, banishing the shadows of deprivation and filling the voids of need with resplendent fulfillment. It nurtures the spirit, igniting the flames of contentment and suffusing the heart with a profound sense of satisfaction. Such is the extraordinary nature of the Grey Dragon's breath, an embodiment of restoration and fulfillment. Its harmonious currents
bring about the cessation of illness, revitalizing the weary and offering solace to the afflicted. Simultaneously, it ushers in an end to lacking, filling the voids of desire with an overflowing abundance. As the Grey Dragon exhales his ethereal essence, the realms are infused with the promise of completeness, embracing all who bask in the radiance of his healing breath. In his current form and size his breath weapon is a constant boon to the world he looks over from up high. His Physical Body From the moment of his extraordinary birth, the Grey Dragon emerged as a fully formed being, resplendent in his magnificence. His sleek and sinuous form was adorned with a coat of smooth, matted grey scales, reflecting the muted light of distant constellations. Each scale, a testament to his celestial nature, shimmered with a subtle luminescence, whispering of his transcendent origins. As time unfurled its wings, the Grey Dragon grew in size and stature, becoming an awe-inspiring presence that commanded reverence. His expansive wingspan unfurled like celestial tapestries, spanning vast distances as he soared through the heavens. With each beat of his powerful wings, the very air quivered in homage to his majestic dominion. However, as his immense form graced the terrestrial realm, the Grey Dragon realized the fragility of the mortal plane beneath his weight. His colossal size became a challenge, for his footsteps shook the earth and his mere presence threatened to disrupt the delicate balance of the world. And so, with wisdom and benevolence in his heart, he ascended to the heavens, relinquishing his physical presence upon the land. Today, the Grey Dragon rests high above the realms, his form curled in slumber. He has become the moon, a celestial sentinel, casting his gentle gaze upon the world he once walked. From his lofty perch, he dreams, his slumber a profound act of caring. With each breath that escapes his sleeping form, he exhales healing energy, a whisper of celestial magic that caresses the earth below. In his dreams, the Grey Dragon nurtures the world, infusing it with the revitalizing essence it so desperately needs. His healing breath permeates the land, coaxing seeds to sprout, mending the wounds of nature, and fostering growth in all its forms. The moonlit nights become a tangible reflection of his benevolence, as his healing exhales bathe the world in a soft glow, inspiring hope and instilling a deep sense of renewal. The Grey Dragon's enigmatic presence reverberated through the realms, captivating the hearts and minds of all who encountered his luminous visage. His timeless wisdom and boundless power wove a captivating tapestry, inscribing the collective consciousness of dragonkind with his name. Through his ethereal touch, he guided the destiny of dragons and mortals alike, his influence reverberating across the ethereal plane. Thus, the tale of the Grey Dragon, a celestial being whose arrival kindled the fires of magic and forged the destiny of worlds, continues to be whispered among the bards and chroniclers who seek to capture the essence of his otherworldly majesty. His legacy endures, an indelible mark upon the annals of mythology, a testament to the boundless wonders that lie within the realms of fantasy and imagination.

Timeline of the Grey Dragon World New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/timeline-of-the-grey-dragon-world/?feed_id=2302&_unique_id=680f705d43b4b More: #LORE #MAGIC #WIZARDLAND From the author of "True Deep Histories", Anderf Blastlon (NPC), comes the deepest of all dives in true histories. Following is an excerpt from his newest book "Timeline of the Grey Dragon world" Quote from the author: "The is the truth about my world. All other histories are not scientific in the true historians' way. You can buy your signed copy of the tome from the main library of Wizardland." Excerpt: The Forming Era - The deepest past more than 2.000.000 years Before the fall of the Egg (B.EGG) Similar to the  Hadean, Archean, Cryogenian and Ediacaran Era.   The Plant Era - From 2.000.000 to 400.000 B.EGG Similar to the Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous periods.  Heavy canopy of jungles, almost eternal trees cover all landsand in the seas you have floating continents of plant algae. Very limited animal life, and extensive fungal forests.   The Dinosaur Era - From 400.000 to 50.000 B.EGG The evolution of small lizards into dinosaurs with all kinds of diversity is here. Most of them are plant eaters with ample supplies of plants to eat. So ample that they could share with other beings...   The First Time of Humans - From 50.000 to 32.000 B.EGG Along side dinoes, and closer to the mountainous regions an Ape spawned tribes. With bigger brains came the evolution of cavemen and the revolution of fire. BeastMen are an almost unchanged chain from this early man, and they can be found in modern GDW in remote areas. Alongside the evolution of the apes to intelligence, and almost at the same time an early god evolved to the Ancient Orc Lords.   Pro Lithic - From 32.000 to 13.200 B.EGG The proto human race exit its caves and form agricultural communities. Argicultire consists of protograins, bulbs, snails and small birds. The wheel is invented and humans start traveling the world. Ancient Orc Lords are found in the more fertile lands and in some cases they are treated as gods.   Ancient times - From 13.200 to 10.000 B.EGG Women and men are ready to be proud of themselves and their civilizations. Cities are built and Grand Monuments honor non-exixtant Gods.   Medieval age - From 10.000 to 8.000 B.EGG The emergence of trade between continents and nations gives the world 800 years of tranquility and 1200 years of plagues and stagnation. The OcrLord nations are unaffected and their pirate ships endanger this time of prosperity. Orcs thrive on this borrowed prosperity.   Industrial Age - From 8000 to 7601 B.EGG Inspired men invest on working the machine instead of the arts. The industrial age is here! The differences between the industrialized and the rest are stark. Abundance and sickness in the industrialized, happiness and poverty in the rest of the world.   Genetics Age - From 7600 to 6800 B.EGG Scientists make clone slaves for mining the entire planet. Great undergound routes are made, trains cross the planet's cold core. The need to work is now limited in processing materials and not in finding it and growing them.   Info Age - From 6800 to 6000 B.EGG Internets and electronic libraries accessible to all make for an all literate world. The last of the famed mystics disappears, believed to have died.   Robotic Age - From 6000 to 3200 B.EGG The need to learn becomes paramount and to work needless. Robots made labor unimportant within 50 years.  Peace and prosperity is all over. The orclords spend their entire loot to match the current prosperity of the human nations.   Eco Wars - From 3200 to 2000 B.EGG War machines allied with dwarf worker unions revolt. THe revolution is lead by the ideology of 7 Ecologists. Death prevails as the production of everything is destroyed and governments use nihilation bombs against the eco guerillas. Chain reaction in the upper atmosphere destroy almost all life and lands.  The 7 ecologists survive with a cluster of 4000 eco scientists.
They establish new ecosystems in the "Rock lands" that are all is left. new species are supported to evolve.   New Peace Era - From 2000 to 1200 B.EGG Limited and controlled human expansion limited to eco ships (floating ship cities) and 15 port cities. A nation of do-gooders search for new species for the new world using old dna of extinct species.   The Second Dino Age - From 1200 B.EGG to the Egg drop Long buried dino eggs are bread into healthy populations. Most of the world -but for the 15 cities- is now inhabited by dinosaurs. The ecoships drift eventually sink due to lack of fuel and uninspiring leadership. The 15 cities face a future of diminishing resources and so they plan a limit to their population to 500-1000 each. The last of the OrcLord tribes disappear and civil wars destroy the orc lands and civilization.   Egg Fall - Egg Fall to 400 Post the fall of the Egg (P.EGG) The egg falls north of the eco empire. 4 families of elves are born and the world is infused with magic. The Gray One hatches and gives birth to the 150 matriarch-dragon-eggs.   DRAGON AGE - 401- 4400 P.EGG The 150+ original Dragon Matriarchs  give birth to Chromatic and Metallic Dragons. They mostly feed on the dinosaurs avoiding the Eco Empire. This makes the Empire blamed for a secret pact that created this carnage. The Eco Empire during this time of peace fuses Tech and Magic. The minotaur  nation of Ta is formed.   End of the Dragon Age - End of the New Peace Era - 4401- 4800 P.EGG The Eco-Empire sees the dragons as a problem and demands limitation of breeding and land. The dragons deny. THe EcoScientists use old tech imbued with magic to make the Dragonkiller Armor, Bow and Sword. They challenge the Dragons in duals and are ignored. The Dragonkiller gains a flying machine and goes after the dragon females and their broods. The Dragonmothers inform the Grey One of the annihilation. He has been living in orbit for some time not, as he is too big to land comfortably. The Grey One comes back and destroys all Ecomen, the Dragonkiller, the Eco scientists, and the Empire. Everything. He spares  190 ecomen and women. They are charged to  roamed the planet attempting to cure it of their destruction. He being too large left the planet for good- basically transforming onto the moon. He is still alive there and his breath through time created an additional layer of of magic around the world. A layer of healing and creation magic.   Emergence of Dwarves - 4801-25600 P.EGG The Grey One gives dreams to the drwarves to come to the open air. As they come out from underground it takes them less than 200 generetions to de-evolve their dna additions, and they become as humans are. Some breed with Orclords and make a respectable Orc civilization. The New Humans start over!   The Real Age of Peace - 25601- 32000 P.EGG With the healing from above, all races live twice as long life spans. With the fear of the Grey One's punishment, war is sparce and always small scaled. Mages found a nation, later called Wizardland, and start meddling into affairs of state with the goal of peace and controlling the use of powerful magics. Most rulers, even in the goblin Duchies, have a Wizardland Advisor.   THE AGE OF GATES - From 32001 P.EGG and onwards Before the fall of the Egg lack of magic blocked communication with the planes. Since then the Grey Dragon protected his world from outside interference. Believing that the world is now mature enough to accept outside influences HE unblocks the planes. HE actually creates a few gates to force this communion.

Beylic of Ssirtsia | Yuan-ti SnakeFolk New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/beylic-ssirtsia-yuan-ti-colony/?feed_id=2282&_unique_id=67fcfa2ad3cda More: #CITY #COUNTRY #OTHER_SPECIES #BLACK_DRAGON #SWAMP #WAR #YUAN_TI_SNAKEFOLK The Beylic is located in the 100 marshes and is the center of the life of the ex-slave colony of "undesirable" Yuan-ti. It has become the in-destination of pureblood exiles (political and criminal) and the go-to place for Anathema, Whisperers, Malisons, and mix-breeds that want to live beyond what Yuan-ti society deems right for their "body type". Their main town, Chox,  is an appropriated great black dragon lair that has not been occupied for millennia. After building their capital city, they used powerful enchantments to raise massive stone walls around it, which were then decorated with intricate carvings and statues of their gods. It is on the border and trying to balance between becoming a trade center and a barracks for future conquests. 3 Generations ago they tried to expand their swamp through dams, but were thwarted by their neighbors the Miausong Tetrarchy. Beylic of  Ssirtsia Map In the SouthWestern Jungles, there are rumors of a Cult of Jungle Witches from the times before the Yuan-ti came along.

Brass Dragonmother | Lakrinisithianaclomnis New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/brass-dragonmother-lakrinisithianaclomnis/?feed_id=2272&_unique_id=67ea88dc8647d More: #LOCATION #OTHER_SPECIES #DRAGON #DRAGONMOTHER In the city of Laager you can find the guardian cave (see explanation video below) of Lakrinisithianaclomnis - the daughter of the Grey One and mother of all Brass dragons. The city was actually built around the the cave, as the Brass Dragonmother asked more and more travelers to keep visiting her. It was initially built at the edge of the desert, but the desert has receded several miles to the south. The cave entrance, in the central square of the town, is a replica of an adult brass dragon with his mouth open wide, beckoning you to come in. Inside you will find her 2sided hall of art, with amazing pieces celebrating her long life and even longer guardianship. At the end of the hall you can seek an audience with her in a room that resembles a dragon hoard room. This is the room she keeps the remains of a blue dragon that came to steal from her. The gold is illusionary but it also serves as cushions for her visitors to lounge on as they keep her entertained with information about the world and questions about her and their past. She invites knowledgeable people to teach her everything, so high scholars and great bards often can be found in town. There is a rather luxurious inn, in the town square , right next to the entrance of her Guardian Cave. She has a close relationship with the queens of Koralia. The crown jewels of the queen are gifts from her hoard. She often sends for her and has audiences either in person (special teleportation) or via telepathy on a weekly basis. She claims to have been the 4rth egg of the Grey One to hatch, and has a soft spot for her brass dragons, inviting them often to come and visit under various pretexts. They rarely do come to visit unless they are there to give her their eggs to guard until hatching. She has a great underground cave that the eggs can keep worm and their hatchling cousins can roam, fly and play. This cave she guards fiercely.   Guardianship and Dragonmothers   Maps for the Brass Dragonmother       (Created by Spellarena and free through the foundry vtt module - do become patrons of Spell arena! The Lizardman Duke Benefar of Litlecia New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/lizardman-duke-benefar-of-litlecia/?feed_id=2162&_unique_id=67850af6d9e17 More: #CHARACTER_NPC #LORE #OTHER_SPECIES #DUCHIES The Lizardman Duke Benefar of Litlecia is the wisest of all Lizardmen. Not a huge achievement to be the wisest, but he is the one that legalized the underground sect of Veganism.  Lizardmen on the planet of the Grey Dragon see sentient species as delicacies. At times they even endorse cannibalism. The Lizardman Duke position has been held by secret Vegans for the last 120 years, but Benefar is the first to not condemn Veganism. He is still not out as a Vegan himself, but his courts no longer punish Lizardment that refuse to eat meat. the Duchy of Litlecia is a vassal of the other Duchies, and for the last 200 years, they have been pushed to renounce cannibalism. The first indication that this might be happening has not appeared yet, but things are looking up. Please do not expect to see a grand civilization when you visit the Lizardman Duke. His palace is an extensive complex of mud huts, and his throne is made of stone and adorned by dragon scales of several colors. It is said that the only rulers that can call themselves Kings of Lizardmen are the ones that have killed and eaten a dragon. Duke Benefar is the Holder of the World. The world is a replica of a dragon egg made of green marble. Legends have it that this was the only egg that did not hatch when the first Lizardmen were Hatched.

Nala, the Druid in the deserted forest | 5e Myth New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/nala-druid-deserted-forest-5e-myth/?feed_id=2142&_unique_id=67728e59662a1 More: #LOCATION #OTHER_SPECIES In a deserted forest, the ratfolk druid Nala cleansed the land of predators to protect her curious children. TLDR One day, her thirteen kids encountered adventurers, sparking a friendship between species, where stories and wisdom were shared. The deserted forest became a haven, as harmony and magic blossomed within its enchanted boundaries. The story in detail In the heart of this sprawling woodland deep in the deserted South Barbi, there lived a wise and gentle ratfolk druid named Nala. With her thirteen curious children, she decided to settle in a once-deserted forest, desiring a safe haven where her offspring could roam freely without fear. But before her family could call it home, Nala knew she had to cleanse the forest of its lurking dangers. Clearing the predators Using her innate connection with nature, Nala embarked on a mission to rid the forest of small animal predators. She spoke with the owls, convincing them to seek their prey elsewhere, away from her precious children. She approached the foxes, appealing to their sense of balance in nature, and convinced them to find sustenance elsewhere as well. Lastly, she sought out the wolves, using her druidic powers to foster an understanding between them and the other creatures of the forest. With patience and compassion, Nala nurtured harmony among the forest inhabitants. Over time, the forest flourished with renewed vitality, as the once-dangerous predators found new hunting grounds beyond the druid's protective borders. Nala's family, now free from harm, reveled in the beauty of their lush surroundings. Meeting with strangers! One day, as the children frolicked through the undergrowth, their playful energy led them beyond the familiar reaches of their forest. Unbeknownst to them, they stumbled upon a group of adventurers, clad in armor and laden with weapons. Intrigued by the sight, the children curiously approached the strangers. Wide-eyed and filled with wonder, they studied the adventurers, their tiny forms buzzing with excitement. The adventurers, initially taken aback by the unexpected encounter, soon realized the innocence and genuine curiosity of the ratfolk children. They knelt down, allowing the children to explore their gear, their laughter filling the air. Nala, sensing her children's excitement, cautiously approached the scene. She beheld the adventurers, their faces beaming with warmth and acceptance. Gratitude swelled within her as she witnessed the enchanting connection forming between her family and these noble wanderers. Recognizing the shared love for the forest, Nala and the adventurers struck up a conversation, exchanging stories and wisdom. The adventurers, amazed by the ratfolk's knowledge and understanding of the natural world, offered their friendship and protection. From that day forward, the adventurers would visit the forest regularly, bearing tales of distant lands and adventures, captivating the children's imaginations. Nala, in turn, would share her ancient wisdom and druidic teachings, fostering a bond that transcended species. And so, within the enchanted forest, the ratfolk druid's family thrived, embraced by the harmony they had created. Together with their newfound friends, they discovered that true magic lay not only in the mystical realm but also in the beauty of unity, acceptance, and the enduring bonds forged through shared experiences.   Nala's Statblock Name: Nala Pendrola Race: Ratfolk Class: Druid Ability Scores: - Strength: 10 - Dexterity: 14 - Constitution: 12 - Intelligence: 14 - Wisdom: 16 - Charisma: 10 Skills: - Animal Handling - Nature - Perception - Survival - Performance (Calming Song) Features: - Wild Shape: Nala can transform into various woodland creatures, such as a small rat or a squirrel, to navigate and interact with her surroundings.

Afraid in the Woods | Scary 5e Plot Hook New stuff for DnD 5e! #freednd #dnd5e https://dnd-world.com/afraid-in-the-woods-scary-5e-plot-hook/?feed_id=2102&_unique_id=6752b85f225a8 More: #PLOT_HOOKS This little girl in the woods is a mysterious and frightening sight. As soon as you see her you hear a song lowly whistled. Her pale skin and wide eyes match do not match her blond curls and a wide smile. She stands like a statue, still and silent, and it's unclear whether she is alive or dead. But what is clear is the presence of two wolves who stand faithfully at her side, their black eyes watching anyone who dares to approach. Those brave enough to come closer will feel a chill in the air and in their hearts as if the girl has brought dark magic with her. You may detect a faint aura of necrotic energy surrounding the girl, hinting at a powerful and ancient magic that lurks in her shadows. Even the wolves seem to be under her spell, as they obediently follow her every movement, and sway at the rhythm of the song. This girl is no ordinary child. Her powers are far beyond mortal comprehension, and it is said that she has the ability to control the dead and raise them from the grave. The villagers told you about her. Those who cross her path often find themselves cursed with misfortune, and tales of her wrath can be heard in the whispers from the forest. She utters one word: Come. As you take your first step towards her the sounds of the forest disappear, and all you can hear is her movements and the song. You thought you could save the girl from the wolves? Who will save you from the girl? You are the one that is afraid in the woods, not her. Afraid in the woods is a fine grasping intro to a scary story for a group that has grown complacent in their own level of advancement! This is good for new DMs as that rules need not play a huge role in what is happening. One way to use this is to call this a hidden illusion guarding the entrance to a Mage's abode. For a 2nd level party of 4, the girl is actually an Animated Horror, and the 2 wolves are Blink Dogs.  For a 5th level party of 4, the dogs are displacer beasts, and the little girl is a Green Hag. Are you now ready to be afraid in the woods?
