Day 1: Dalat Motorbike tour to Hoian and Danang via Ho Chi Minh Trail and Central Highlands: Dalat motorbike tour to Lak lake

At 8:00am, our guide will pick you up at your hotel. Before saying goodbye to this peaceful and friendly city, we will visit Crazy House – crazy ideal, crazy architecture, but very humanities. Following the mountain roads, we will head to the countryside of Lam Dong province, we will explore flowers and vegetables farm, Mushroom farm and we learn the way how to make Vietnam rice wine. We continue to visit coffee plantations, silk-worm factory, Elephant fall and Linh An pagoda. After lunch at a local restaurant at the top of Phu Son pass, just feel free to trek around and take the best photos for yourselves. Then, we will hit the road to travel through the jungle to go to Lak Lake.

We check-in at the long-stilt-house or Lak resort for over-night stay.

Day 2: Dalat Motorbike tour to Hoian or Danang via Ho Chi Minh Trail and Central Highlands: Lak Lake motorcycle ride to Buon Me Thuot

This is one of the best days of the tour, so don’t miss anything!We will walk around the Jun village where M’Nong minority people live to learn more about the daily life of local people and their customs, culture as well. We cross Lak lake by boat or traveling on the back of elephant (extra pay)

Continuing to get on the motorbike to ride to Buon Me Thuot, we will stop at The Elephant rock mountain – trekking to the top of it to have a look the views around and Ede ethnic minority village where still keep their tradition long house . Also, we visit the local market where we will buy really special foods for our picnic lunch in the national park.

Following Ho Chi Minh trail, we will ride to Buon Me Thuot visiting the Dray Sap and Dray Nur Waterfall which is the biggest one in the Central Highland. We will swim in Fairy pool and take a water massage from waterfall. ur guide will cook special foods for the lunch (Secret).

We come back Buon Ma Thuot city and overnight here.

Day 3: Dalat Motorbike tour to Hoian or Danang via Ho Chi Minh Trail and Central Highlands: Buon Me Thuot motorbike ride to Pleiku

Let’s enjoy the best coffee of the coffee homeland in Vietnam before heading to the Pleiku.

A long ride today on the Ho Chi Minh trail, we will stop at Rubber tree plantations, Black pepper farm and visit the local house to learn how to make rice paper and rice noodle. This is the good chance to try to experience the daily life of Highlanders!

Day 4: Dalat Motorbike tour to Hoian or Danang via Ho Chi Minh Trail and Central Highlands: Pleiku motorbike ride to Kon Tum

Get out the city, we will ride to Sea Lake – the Eyes of Pleiku. Then continuing the Ho Chi Minh trail to travel to Kon Tum where you can visit wooden church that is combined of European style and culture of the Central Highlands Vietnam,- Kon K’tu ethnic village with their tradition Rong House,- Vinh Son Orphanage (If you want)

Day 5: Dalat Motorbike tour to Hoian or Danang via Ho Chi Minh Trail and Central Highlands: Kon Tum motorbike ride to Kham Duc

Wake up in the early morning to enjoy the fresh air of the highland town and walk around to visit Kon Tum market. After breakfast, we will get on the motorbike for visiting, Dak To – Tan Canh battle field, Phoenix airport, Charlie Hill, Indochine Three Corner. These places is good for the people want to learn more about Vietnam history. Then, continuing ride on the Ho Chi Minh trail – always very good road to enjoy the riding and beautiful landscapes.

Arrive in Kham Duc, a little town of Quang Nam province to overnight.

Day 6: Dalat Motorbike tour to Hoian or Danang via Ho Chi Minh Trail and Central Highlands: Kham Duc motorbike trip to Hoi An or Da Nang

Another day on the Ho Chi Minh trail, we will leave Kham Duc for Hoi An or Da Nang. On the way we will enjoy waterfall on the Ho Chi Minh trail and visit pineapple plantation and enjoy a fresh pineapple there. We will also visit Cao Dai temple and visit Cham tower. We will see how people make incense.

Arrive in Hoi An around 4:00pm or Danang at around 4:30pm.

NORTHEAST OF SAPA MOTORBIKE TOUR - 3 Days

On this sapa motorbike tour you have an opportunity to explore the most beautiful parts in northeast of Sapa area, visit Spectacular landscapes of the mountain range and driving along the Red river. Unique culture, custom and way of living of the Flower Hmong, Black Hmong, Dao, Tay, Ha Nhi, Tu Zi, Tu Lao… ethnics with two nights home stay in tribal villages for local life experiences.

Day 1 : Sapa Motorbike Tour to Silver Water fall - Tram ton Pass(Heaven Gate) - Motorcycle Tour to Lao Chai village - Ta van village - Ban ho village - Sapa - 80km.(--/L/D)

In the morning, meet our guide in Sapa for a short briefing. Then start your journey from Center of town by motorbike and head through Sapa Town for the main Sapa - Lai Chau road (4D). The scenery is beautiful. We will stop at Silver Waterfall (Best in rainy season) and take a short walk to middle of the Silver Water fall After crossing the waterfall and heading back down the steps, you head back to your motorbike and continue the journey to the pass.

After taking some beautiful photos of the Tram Ton Pass, you will take a short walk along Golden Stream to the another water fall that call Love Waterfall located in the forest. Its will take you about 1hour to get there from Tram Ton Pass, After visit the Love water fall you will get on the Motorbike riding back to Sapa.

After leaving Sapa town behind for a while, you make a turn and follow a dirt road to the Black H’mong village of Lao Chai. From Lao Chai the ride will continue off road to Ta Van, a village inhabited by the Giay tribe. You take a break at the village and have lunch in a local house.

At Ban Ho you have time to observe the local life of the Tay minority people. Walk around Ban Ho village you have an opportunity to visit one of typical house of the Tay people here. Finally, you get on the Motorbike up the side of the valley and in the direction you come down riding back to Sapa.

Day 2: Sapa Motorbike Tour to Muong Khuong - Si Ma Cai Town - Bac Ha Town - 150km. (B/L/D)

In the moring you will check all the condition of the Motorbikes. Then start your journey from the hotel (Homestay) by Motorbike and head through Sapa Town then take the road to Lao Cai before heading further east towards Muong Khuong. The road was recently upgraded to ensure smooth drive and enjoy beautiful scenery of the lush mountainous region along the way with some stops for nature wanders and photos.On the way you will meet several type of minorities. It is easy to realize the H’mong and Zao through their colorful dresses and head gears who are the massive at the market. The Ha Nhi, Tu Zi, Tu Lao peoples in smaller numbers and wear unique traditional costumes which are not so colorful but beautiful.Arrive Muong Khuong town at the mid-day: You will sit down for a simple Lunch in one of the common restaurant.After lunch you will drive to Si Ma Cai town on the way you will enjoy the beautiful scenery and lots of traditional houses with baked earth tiled roofs. Arrive Bac Ha in late afternoon.You will enjoy your dinner in the Homestay with local family here.

Day 3 : Bac Ha Town - Can Cau Market (Saturday Only) - Bac Ha Market (Sunday Only) - Bao Nhai village - Lao Cai - 120km-( or Sapa)-150km.(B/L/--).

There are three option you can choose:* OPTION ONE - If you arrive Bac Ha on Saturday:In the moring you will check all the condition of the Motorbikes. Then start your journey from the hotel( Homestay) by Motorbike and head through Bac Ha Town then take the road to Can Cau Market.Can Cau Saturday market. from 6 a.m. to 13 p.m, in the middle of the paddy fields and corn fields, the various H’mong groups from the highland villages sell their farming products and buy fabrics, farming tools and kitchenware. The local Hmong wear traditional costumes that are so gaudy and heavily embroidered that the Chinese, the French and the Vietnamese have nicknamed them the « Flower Hmong ». Numerous Hmong farmers travel back to their villages on horseback, the only way to carry heavy loads in these steep areas. Can Cau is north of Bac Ha.You will sit down for a simple Lunch at the Can Cau Market.In the afternoon you will drive down hill to Bao Nhai. Our guide will take you driving along Red River bank you will have beautiful scenery of Lao Cai's rural area. And visit some villages along the way.

* OPTION TWO - If you arrive Bac Ha on Sunday:In the moring the guide will take you walk around Bac Ha Sunday joining the local tribal peoples including Flower H’mong, Black Zao, Phu La and Tay for the market activities and festive atmosphere. All peoples in their best traditional costume gather every Sunday for shopping, but socializing is of great importance. The cattle and clothing sections are the most interesting until lunch time and then comes the food section where peoples meet, talk, enjoy food and especially drink a kind of locally made corn-wine.In the afternoon you will check all the condition of the Motorbikes. Then start your journey from the hotel (Homestay) by Motorbike and head through Bac Ha Town then take the road to Lao Cai city. You will drive down hill to Bao Nhai. On the way you will stop and take a short walk to explore Trung Do village this prosperous village of the Tay ethnic people who live in large stilt houses and have maintained well their traditional way of life.Our guide will take you driving along Red River bank you will have beautiful scenery of Lao Cai's rural area. And visit some villages along the way.

We start our North-east Vietnam motorbike tour by getting out of Hanoi

to head up Road 3. Busy motor ride in the morning until lunch. And then we turn into most empty road, passing peaceful villages and rice fields before through Ba Be National Park.

Ba Be National Park is an abundant bioreserve area containing the world’s only fresh-water karst lake and several rare species of fauna and flora. Ba Be lake in VietnamThe biodiverse 10,048ha park – home to 1,268 species of flora and fauna, a series of caves and a gigantic fresh water lake – was established in 1992 by the Vietnamese Government to preserve forest ecosystems in the northeast.

Ba Be is home to over 3,000 people from the ethnic minorities of Tay, Nung, Dao and Mong, who live in 13 villages within the park. The Tay people have inhabited Ba Be area for centuries and make up 58 per cent of the population within the park’s boundaries.

Day 2: Vietnam Northeast Motorcycle Tours: Boat ride on Ba Be National Park and Motorbike Tours to Cao Bang City

waterfall on Nang river. As one of the 27 ASEAN heritage gardens, Ba Be has the potential to attract nature lovers with its 450ha natural fresh water lake, and 553 species of mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish.

According to a survey from the Viet Nam Institute of Geo-sciences and Mineral Resources, over 11,000 years ago, an earthquake caused a collapse of the subterranean Nang River, creating a natural dam which led to the formation of Ba Be Lake.

After boat ride, we get out to Cho Ra for lunch before ride up to Cao Bang Town. Cao Bằng is a province of the Northeast region of Vietnam, home to many people belonging to Vietnam’s ethnic minority groups and the most notable of these are the Tày, Nùng, Dao, and Hmong. The province has borders with Hà Giang, Tuyên Quang, Bắc Kạn, and Lạng Sơn provinces within Vietnam. It also has common international border with Guangxi Province of the People’s Republic of China. Cao Bằng has several points of historical interest as well as many natural features such as the Pac Bo (at the mouth of the confluence of two rivers, the Bằng Giang and Hien rivers) where Hồ Chí Minh in January 1941 established a revolutionary force at Cốc Bó cave, the Mạc King’s Temple, the Kỳ Sầm Temple, Coi Bin Church, the Bản Giốc waterfall area at the international border between Vietnam and China, and the Thang Hen Mountain Lake.

Day 3: Vietnam Northeast Motorcycle Tours: Cao Bang Motorbike Tours to Ban Gioc waterfall and homestay in Quang Uyen (Cao Bang)

Get out of town, we ride up to Ma Phuc Pass of Cao Bang Province. It is on

the way between Cao Bang Town and the Ban Gioc Waterfall. The pass is not famous with the elevation or the danger like some others in Vietnam, but with the natural beauty that one could capture from the top of the pass.Keep riding to Ban Gioc waterfall, one of Vietnam’s best-known waterfalls. It’s a very scenic spot, marking the border with China, but sees very few visitors. The name Ban Gioc is derived from the Montagnard languages spoken in the area, and is sometimes spelt Ban Doc.

The waterfall is the largest, although not the highest, in the country. The vertical drop is 53m, but it has an impressive 300m span; one end of the falls is in China, the other is in Vietnam. The falls have three levels, creating a sort of giant staircase, and there’s enough water any time, most years, to make the trip worthwhile.

Lunch in local restaurant before we get an other way back to Quang Uyen. This is the territory of Nung An people. Home stay in a host family and the hostess is a great cook.

This could be the best ride ever.

The Battle of Dong Khe was a major battle of the First Indochina War. The fight began on 15 September 1950 and ended on 18 September with a French defeat. It took place in Dong Khe, in the Province of Tonkin, Vietnam, from September 15 to September 18, 1950, ending with a Viet Minh victory.

Arriving Lang Son at noon. We have a late lunch before time to discover this city which has become a big trading post between China and Vietnam. Lạng Sơn is 155 kilometres (96 mi) to the northwest of Hanoi and National Highways 1 and 1 A and passes the Chi Lang pass (the site of Lê Lợi’s victory over 100,000 Ming invaders from China in 1427) and Bắc Giang on National Highway 1A. Lạng Sơn is 135 km from Cao Bằng on the National Highway no 4. You can shop for cheap Chinese products at the nearby Dong Kinh market.

VIETNAM OFFROAD MOTORBIKE TOUR FROM HANOI TO MAI CHAU, SAPA, BAC HA, HA GIANG, AND BA BE LAKE

Day 1: Hanoi Motorcycle Tours to Mai Chau (Hoa Binh)

Start our motorbike tour by leaving Hanoi on dyke roads to avoid the heavy traffic around 9 am, we ride our motorbikes west to Mai Chau, an area of beautiful landscape and home to the Thai ethnic minority. We will motorcycle on Highway 6 passing extensive farming lands comprising a sea of paddy fields split by tree-lined roads punctuated by limestone karst scenery.

After a light lunch in Hoa Binh Province, we cross Thung Khe, one of the most beautiful mountain passes in North Vietnam then descent to the mountain valley settlement of Mai Chau. After dinner we join performance, where you can dance and share a range of special liquors (rice wine) with the locals. Overnight in a house-on-stilts of the Thai people.

Day 2: Mai Chau Motorcycle Tours to Phu Yen (Son La) – Offroad Motorcycle Tours to Tribal Villages

Mai Chau is one of the closest places to Hanoi where you can experience a ‘real’ Montagnard village. In the morning we take a short walk around village to discover local life. Life in the side starts early so by sunrise there is a wealth of activity. The Thai women are masterful weavers who ensure that there is plenty of traditional-style clothing to buy in the village centre. You will see women weaving on looms under or inside their houses in the village We can buy some handmade traditional-style clothing, knife or cross-bow.

After breakfast in home-stay, we say goodbye to villagers and leave Mai Chau around 10 am. We ride from Mai Chau to the direction of Moc Chau, where we have lunch. This highland town produces some of Vietnam’s best tea and is a good place to stock up. The surrounding area is also home to several ethnic minorities, including Green H’mong, Dzao, Thai and Muong. Moc Chau boasts a pioneering dairy industry that started in the late 1970s with Australian (and, later, UN) assistance. The dairy provides Hanoi with such delectable iuxur us as fresh milk, sweetened condensed milk and little tooth-rotting bars called “Banh sua”.

After lunch, we turn to the less travelled Road 43 leading to the Da River, crossing the reservoir of Da river at Van Yen ferry, then ride on a beautiful winding secondary road until Phu Yen where we stay in a basic guest-house.

Day 3: Phu Yen Motorcycle Tours to Than Uyen (Lai Chau)

In the morning, we keep motorbiking across Lung Lo pass before head up on Road 32 .

During the First Indochina War, the 15km-long Lung Lo Pass, used by the Vietnamese resistance force to transport weapons, goods and food during the Dien Bien Phu campaign of 1954, was heavily bombed by the French in order to sever the front lines from the rear. Lung Lo Pass, situated in the northern province of Yen Bai, was also recognised as a national heritage by the ministry. After lunch, we ride through the Mu Cang Chai massif, almost as high as the Fansipan. From the top, it offers one of the most beautiful views of North Vietnam. The ride is challenging but very rewarding.

Day 4: Than Uyen Motorcycle Tours to Sapa (Lao Cai)

We motorbike straight toward the main Fansipan Mountain range. There is also the option for a very challenging back route which takes us through several river crossings. The massive mountain range dominates the road until finally we must make a splendid climb up from Binh Lu and up to the top of the highest road pass in Vietnam (Tram Ton Pass).

Crossing into Lao Cai Province at over 2,000m the views looks out over the main range for miles and miles, before we descend to the mountainous Sa Pa valley. Sa Pa is located in Lao Cai Province, north-west Vietnam, and 350 km north-west of Hanoi, close to the border with China. Sapa is famous both for its fine, rugged scenery and for its rich cultural diversity. French used to consider Sapa as Summer Capital of Northern Vietnam in the early decades of the 20th century. Its naturally gifted beauty keeps attracting more and more people to spend their vacation there since then. Particularly, the place is the foremost choice for honeymoon couples!

Day 5: Sapa Motorcycle Tour to Bac Ha (Lao Cai)

Motorcycle down from Sapa to Lao Cai City and then have a coffee-stop on the bank of Nam Thi river, which is Vietnam – China border. Enjoy your coffee while taking the view to China.

Head to Road 70 before turn to Bac Ha on Road 153. Long touted as the weekend alternative to Sapa, this small highland town doesn’t have the same dramatic location of its more il-lustrious neighbour, but it is calmer when Saturday comes. It fills up to choking point on Sunday morning, when visitors flood in to meet the Flower H’mong at theSapa Motorbike Tour to Bac Ha Market – morning market. Compared with Sapa, tourism is still in its infancy here and during the week the town has a deserted feel. Bac Ha is a good base to explore the surrounding highlands. Around 900m above sea level, it is noticeably warmer than Sapa.

One of Bac Ha’s main industries is she manufacture of alcoholic home brews (rice wine, cassava wine and corn liquor). The corn hooch produced by the Flower H’mong is so potent it can ignite! Bac Ha is the only place in Vietnam where you’ll find this particular moonshine; there’s an entire area devoted to it at the Sunday market.

Day 6: Bac Ha Motorcycle Tours to Ha Giang City

After breakfast, we take a motor ride on the track to Xin Man and Hoang Su Phi on many small; back roads with scenic mountain views. Xin Man is right on the border between Vietnam and China. It is, as of this writing, well hidden and completely surrounded by wild mountains and forests.

There’s a single road from Xin Man to Hoang Su Phi. Hoang Su Phi is among the most untouched area of Ha Giang Province of Vietnam. The area was separated from the mainstream society until very recently. Passing Hoang Su Phi, we will be charmed by the pristine beauty of the wild mountains and the authentic culture of the local ethnic groups which include: the Nung, the Flower H’mong, the Tay and the Ha Nhi People…After lunch, join the main road heading up to Ha Giang City, where we stop for the night and apply for a permit.

Day 7: Ha Giang Motorcycle Tours to Dong Van (Ha Giang)

After getting the permit for motorbike tour in border areas at Ha Giang’s Immigration Police, we ride on small challenging mountain roads (but incredibly beautiful) on the land of colorful mountain hill-tribes.

Motorcycle up the Ma Pi Leng Pass. Here is yet another amazing place, with cloudy mountain ranges and the poetic Nho Que river winding off in the distance.

It is really difficult to find the exact words to describe Ma Pi Leng Pass, located between Dong Van and Meo Vac, near the northernmost tip of Vietnam, as a painting of astonishing beauty and magnificence that captures the eyes of all viewers and nature lovers.

Ride on a zig-zag track until reaching Vuong Family’s Residence, 14 kms before Dong Van.

Vuong Family was considered the King of the Hmong People in Dong Van, Ha Giang. Their residence was built in the scenic valley of Sa Phin with Chinese architecture. The whole house was built out of wood and rock only. The rocks for the buildings were imported from China. Vuong Family Residence is a masterpiece of man work in the valley of heavenly beauty of Sa Phin.

This is a remote area and we can meet the hard-working local people here. It is inspiring to see how they survive as they manage live in the rocks.When we reach Dong Van Town we will have some extra time to wonder the ancient streets lined with H’mong homes of clay bricks and tiles roofs built centuries ago.

Day 8: Dong Van Motorcycle Tours to Bao Lac (110 km)

The motorbike ride in the morning is still winding along the Rock Plateau, after breakfast, enjoy slowly Vietnam motorbike tour on some beautiful mountain passes until Meo Vac where we stop for lunch.
