i actually agree with u a lot. the buildup is going for wayy too much time now. also the fact that they just destroyed this thing with Basketball for no reason? like, she was an actually important character for the plot at once, and then - poof. nothing.

they're NOT convincing me that Basketball is irrelevant after One kept her around for a month just for a deal, yet threw Donut out real quick and ripped off his legs

RIGHT? like.... thinking about how basketball was straight up sabotaged and made irrelevant by the writing makes me so angry. my LAST hope is that shes still on Ones list and is thus bound to her, plus ice cube is in the elimination area as well and shes been heavily involved with figuring out One as well. like. i have to hope she'll be made relevant again but ive been hoping for 3 episodes straight

But for real, I think that like.... I'm slowly losing interest in this show? Because this felt like part 5 in a series of "all buildup no payoff" especially with one. I feel like the buildup and pandering is actively harming the show atp, especially when you don't know if any of the plot threads will be immediately followed up on next episode. Like, I get the mystery, but there's a point where it drags, yknow... I miss tpot 13
