Personally I wouldn't get a SSD for backups. I know SSDs have come a long way but I'm still old and paranoid and prefer HDDs because if those fail there is some chance of getting the data back.

Going through files on the old PC of my parents I wanna use for something, and I'm pretty sure I backed them up but also very paranoid of loosing those old pictures.

I should maybe look into getting some really really big storage that last a very long time some day

The only correct way to talk to transbians:
