Break the header link on page 2
You want to break the header link on page two, but don't know how. Well, you can follow the steps in this article to do it. Firstly, unlink the current header and footer. Then, double-click the sections you want to replace. If you're reusing the same header and footer, you can delete the old one and replace it with the new one. Once you've done that, you can now relink your pages and sections.
The Header and Footer feature is a powerful tool in Microsoft word. You can make any header or footer apply to all pages, or only certain ones. You can also break the link between different headers and footers by adding section breaks. You can also break the header link on page 2 by adding a section break. This will create a break in the link and separate the different pages. If you're not comfortable breaking the link, then don't worry.
If you want to break the link between header and footer sections, then you can write a VBA procedure to create the break between sections. Once the break occurs, the link between sections will be broken. Then, you can change the header and footer with the broken link. To unlink all header and footer types, type constant j. Then, use the RelinkSections procedure to relink all the sections. For more information, see Installing Macros.
To unlink the Header and Footer of page 3 from the previous pages, go to the Design tab and deselect the Link to Previous option. Click the Page Setup button. This will display the Page Setup dialog box. The next step is to unlink the header and footer of page two. Then, click the Page Setup button and enter the new link on page three. Once you've done that, click the OK button.
In Word, you can break the header and footer link by selecting Insert/Replace From Previous and Next. This method will allow you to insert or remove header and footer sections without having to change the previous pages'. However, if you want to break the header and footer link on page 2, you should first unlink the page before inserting the new header and footer. This will remove the previous page's header and footer.
