Unpopular opinion, I actually never disliked the 3rd HttyD movie, it was alright, I actually enjoy the idea of a 2nd fury breed that pretty much is the day to the night, it just so easily could've been so much BETTER!

- we are told night furies are the fastest, most intelligent, most dangerous dragons and then a dude single handedly drives them to extinction? Why not have them - like the light furies - retreat to the Hidden World upon realizing the danger and Grimmel just thinking he slayed them all?

- when he finds out he in fact didn't, could've gone nuts and tries distroying their hidden paradise. Cue big adventure for the heroes.

- Hiccup still could've realized the dragons are no pets and they could've left for the safety of the hidden world.

- Toothless could've still been with a female light fury, but it wouldn't been the stupid thing with one man single handedly extincting an entire breed.

- plus could've had flashbacks of how Toothless perhaps lost his family during trying to flea or being attacked by Grimmel.

- plus could've had night fury reunion!

So. Yeah, I don't hate the 3rd movie, I just feel it so easily could've been a lot better. 🤷
