Weird 4 am post here but I just wanna say as a bipolar schizophrenic person with a dissociative disorder I love so much how much the last podcast dudes talk about mental health and especially like unsavory/highly stigmatized mental illness symptoms and mental illnesses every time Marcus talks about his experience with bipolar disorder and psychosis i am just 🥺🥺

The first episode i ever listened to was the slenderman one and I will never forget henry saying multiple times that the subject's schizophrenia diagnosis was not necessarily relevant because schizophrenics don't typically hurt others when psychotic but rather tend to end up hurting themselves, and in the bell witch episodes the fact that they mentioned the possibility of betsy bell having did and memory gaps due to her trauma instead of going 100% in for the haunting aspect and glossing over the abuse she suffered (something i personally had been thinking about the whole time) just felt so validating for me

The way all three of these dudes have struggled with trauma and mental illness and talk about it in such a realistic, nonchalant way is just so nice and if you follow me and you haven't listened to last podcast on the left I honestly really do recommend it and this is one of the reasons!

It’s really beautiful. This is how I imagine Henry greeting me every day when I get home. No funny business, either. Doesn’t have to be sexual. When I’m gone I long for him all day. The time we spend together is beautiful. I wouldnt trade it for anything (other than the real thing, of course)
