Deathless lore carrd update!

Small quality of life changes:

Buttons now have icons to indicate what they do (go further into the carrd, go back, exit to a different link, initiate a download, etc.)

Buttons now shrink when hovered over.

The button that leads to my personal carrd turns green.

The cadel generations are now in reverse chronological order.

Version number and latest update is now displayed at the top of the main page.

Bigger changes:

Start dates added to every generation, current year added.

Spawndates added to every cadel's page.

The Deathless logo is now used as the title instead of plain words.

"Added" two new characters.

Removed KV. /j /ref

Okay reblog if you’re an artist who STRONGLY PREFERS reblogs with commentary

People are apparently under the impression that reblogging someone’s art and adding a comment is frowned upon and that can’t possibly be true, every artist I know of sees a reblog-comment as like the ultimate definitive reward for their hard work.

Obviously don’t feel bad for NOT adding a comment if you’re shy or just don’t know what to say, but if there’s something you would like to say about a drawing you’ve liked enough to reblog, I’m pretty sure most artists crave hearing it.

Concerning the Twitter crash and burn, there's legit people encouraging others not to engage with creators trying to promote things so that Tumblr doesn't become commercialized, and I have to make something very clear:

A small creator who is encouraging people to interact with/share their stuff, trying to make their art/writing/etc known because they want a livable wage when they have NOWHERE ELSE they can turn to anymore and are trying to succeed in an internet that makes it near impossible for them is -never- gonna be the same thing as a celebrity shoving adds into your face to buy their newest clothing brand.

Don't encourage capitalism but do encourage the artists and writers that provide you most of their content for FREE and just want to pay bills like anyone else and already deal with being buried in the algorithm or having their art stolen and reposted.

We don't want adds or for this site to be monetized either, I assure you.

Deathless prologue leak real?? The entire series will not look like this, but it's fun to play around with this style whenever vagueness is needed.

Oh free fun fact actually, my friends jokingly telling me that Brand looked like Dave was what convinced me to eventually read Homestuck. So half the references are unintentional, the other half is just me going "It's okay I know now" later on.

DEATHLESS: A brand-new webcomic/YT series

The time for Deathless to become an actual thing is fast approaching.

So here's a small little pitch of sorts for anyone that might be interested in eventually seeing the story unfold!

Meet Brand Fortunato, he's the main guy in this comic. As a cadel with gold blood and a paragon bond (more on that in a bit), he's quite the unique little creature. He strives to eventually be some sort of cool hero, but first he needs to wait for his bond to finally manifest. And graduating from the Harborside Integration Course, that too.

So what are these pesky "bond" things? What is ANYTHING that I've been talking about?

That, my friend, is where the Deathless lore website comes in. Here to answer all your world-building related questions and bring you new blorbos to care about.

Something that I find terrifying (in a funny way), is that people will inevitably kin Deathless characters when it gets more popular.

That said I will be horrified if anyone unironically kins Vinylcheck. I could see it. But why would anyone ever do that to themselves. In case a Vinylcheck kinnie sees this in the future. Hi. Go see a therapist. /lh
