confirmation that billy is racist for everyone that insists on stanning him

okay so here’s what i’m thinking

s1: ann nash + natalie keene deaths, camille comes to write about them and the other kids that go missing. ann’s body has been found before camille arrives by a creek in the woods, natalie’s body is found later the day camille arrives in an alley. they both have missing teeth, pink painted nails (notably unlike them), and appear to have been strangled.

s2: soil samples are taken from bob nash’s (ann’s father) tires, john keene (natalie’s brother) is fired from his job at the preaker’s farm because of his reputation. camille writes an article about the murders which is discovered by amma and adora. while at a town celebration at the crellin’s house, a drunken bob starts a fight with john under the belief that he killed his sister and bob’s daughter.

s3: ann’s bike is found in the lagoon by preaker’s farm, and someone that works at the farm later identifies john keene as the one that put it there. a detective that camille had been in a romantic relationship with discovers that marian, camille’s half sister, had been poisoned by adora while investigating camille’s past. adora begins feeding the same medicine to amma under the pretense of a hangover cure. john keene is arrested by the police for the murder of ann and natalie. camille learns about her mother killing marian from a family friend, and also that marian’s body was cremated to avoid suspicion. with everything that she’s learned and knowing that amma is now sick, she goes to confront her mother. as adora begins to take amma upstairs, camille fakes sick so she will poison her instead. richard goes to confront adora with the police, and when he does he finds that his suspicions are true. amma and adora are hospitalized and adora is arrested, both for poisoning her daughters, marian, and for the murders of ann and natalie after plyers are found that match the marks on ann and natalie’s gums.

s4: amma and camille deal with the aftermath, and they live together in an apartment in hawkins. amma visits adora in jail, but she’s also growing and has made a new friend named mae who lives close by that seems to be a better influence on her than jodes and kelsey, the other two girls in her mean girl troupe. 

??: mae is found dead with painted nails, missing teeth, and having been strangled.

??: amma is arrested for the murders of ann, natalie, and mae after camille finds their teeth in the floor of amma’s dollhouse.

girlish giggles seep from an open mouth, practically pouring as she leans on chrissy.  “ don’t be… don’t be scared. mama never finds me out, i’m her good girl, i’m always- i’m always her good girl. don’t be scared of camille. camille’s not scary. camille’s weak, and mama thinks she’s wild. but i’ll… i’ll tell you a secret- she’s just a little lamb. ”

she sits in a mess of limbs and twigs, pretty dress hanging in shreds around her. the woman in white, sitting in the middle of the woods with no blood on her hands but her own. why did she do that? why did she do that? mama’s not looking for her, mama doesn’t want her, camille doesn’t want her. amma presses her hands in the dirt, curls her fingers and fills her nails with grime. they’re not going to find her, they weren’t looking. amma curls in on herself, she speaks their names into her chest. in the midst of her breathy mutterings, a twig snaps. and amma, ever the wolf, isn’t nearly as startled as she should be. she looks up, slow, eyes dark. she sees haunted, she sees girl, shaking girl. she sees willow... but she really sees camille. amma rushes forward, arms wrapping around willow’s shoulders tight, shoving her face into the pale space in between willow’s neck and collarbone. amma can feel it, the haunting, she can. she’s just like camille, she’s her sister. her sister.  “ camille... camille... ”

" you’re my guest. ”  the way she says it, it sounds like a dangerous thing to be. as if guest was like prisoner was like victim. amma lures annette closer, hand closed holding the forbidden treasure, beckoning her as her head tilts down and she begins to speak, the way someone might if they wanted you to lean in close.  “ you could use a little sunshine. you’ve had a pretty shitty life. ”  amma throws her arm around the small girl’s shoulder, smile overdone and toothy, predatory. she had dragged her, nearly kicking and screaming, here. she won’t let her leave until she’s had something close to fun. it was the friendly thing to do. and, mostly, she liked to see her squirm.  “ no one’s gonna’ say anything, they all listen to me. they’d do anything for me. ”

“i was friends with them for a while,” she said finally, talking into her chest. “we had fun, running around in the woods. we were wild. we’d hurt things together. we killed a cat once. but then she” - as always adora’s name went unsaid - “got all interested in them. i could never have anything to myself. they weren’t my secrets anymore. they were always coming by the house. they started asking me questions about being sick. they were going to ruin everything. she didn’t even realize it.” amma rubbed her shorn hair harshly. “and why did ann have to bite … her? i couldn’t stop thinking about it. why ann could bite her, and i couldn’t.” —gillian  flynn  ,   sharp   objects   .

" livvy-loo! whaddya’ doin’ out so late, dollie? ”  there’s something unmistakably predatory about the way she smiles, overdone and wild, her eyes- she slides to a stop, letting her weight fall onto the brake of her black rollerskate. the smell of cigarettes and alcohol follows her nearly as closely as jodes and kelsey, a girl-murdering clique.  “ there’s a bay-bykiller out here. he’s murderin’ little girls, don’t you know? ”  she listens for the laughter of jodes and kelsey before she moves, draping herself over the railing to peer at livvy, making a point to sigh, dramatically, like one might sigh if they were fainting in those old movies that mama likes.  “ i thought you were supposed to be the smart one. ”

“ please forgive me. ”  gone is the woman of the night, and here is the little girl of the day. mama’s amma, not the wild one, not her creature. her teeth stay safely tucked behind polite pink lips, hands and sharp nails clasped behind her back. the picture of innocence. amma leans in close, tone dropping and taunting frankie to do the same. closer, closer, won’t you come in, dear? the smile that she gives isn’t so far away from last night.  “ sometimes when i show off in front of my friends, i get carried away. ”
