Hello!  Here is an absolute mess of a post that I hope you still find useful!

You should be able to right click and save the individual images.  The pattern piece images have the 1″ and 1cm marks so you can double check that they print at the correct size.  Do not choose “fit to page” when printing the pattern pages.  I think it should fit on A4 as well as letter-size paper!

The instructions are separated into “unlined” and “lined” sections, with each section being complete, so some things are repeated, which means you don’t have to search through the ‘unlined’ section when sewing the ‘lined’ version.

This was only barely edited–if anything is too terrible, please let me know!

(and I went with “no mention of the pattern it’s based on, but also no “DollsAhoy” anywhere, either)

Edit: I noticed a slightly imprecise choice of words on page two and have changed that and re-uploaded the corrected page here.  The change is from “Fold ¼”/6mm of the lower lining edge to the inside.” to “Fold ¼”/6mm of the lower lining edge to the wrong side.” in the lining instructions next to fig. 3, if you happen to have already printed it ^_^

This random sewing...kinda got away from me... Not at all the kind of thing I usually make, right?

The doll is a Creata Flower Princess Leeanna head on a Fresh Dolls body--I figured out that the Creata "goes on a neck sphere" neck opening shape meant I could get it on the weird short Fresh Dolls neck in a higher position than Barbie-style heads sit on that neck. (Barbie heads also get distorted by the peg thickness, which is not a problem for the relatively large sphere cavity.) I added bulk to the neck peg by putting the end of a busted travel cup silicone spout on it, and the head fits just fine. The skin tone match is really good, too. Then I put her in a turtleneck and hid everything.

In 2024, Barbie has returned to her usual place in society's collective attention, but I want more aro clothes for my fashion dolls. (Too much green? No such thing!) So once again for @aggressivelyarospec's Aggressively Arospectacular, I'm sharing additions to my handsewn aromantic and allosexual-aromantic pride wardrobe.

Today, I'm showing off a selection of ruffle-trimmed skirts in aromantic colours and discussing techniques for (hand) sewing less-labour-intensive ruffles.

looking for all fat dolls (bjd, fashion dolls, 3d prints, ooak, anything) 🥺💜

ive been keeping an eye out for fat dolls for years but they still are so rare to come by, especially when youre not looking for hourglass bodies / any body with a skinnier waist/top part.

can ppl pls reblog/reply with any fat dolls you know of? it literally doesnt matter what kind of doll.

some that i already know of:

pear smartdoll (i love this one for the folds!! this doll makes me happy and i wish i could afford one, and i also hope they push it further and make a fatter one + a fat boy body too)

curvy barbie and MH (theyre not rly fat tho... theyre fine but im looking for more prominent stomach and less hourglass)

ive seen some fat bjd but often they have the same hourglass shapes or small waist-and-up parts like the fashion dolls. my current favourite ive found is this one by logan.dolls.

please do show me any fat bjd you know of tho! even the hourglassy ones bc i just want to see whats out there....

i also saw this body for blythe before which i really like, no hourglass and prominent stomach! but i dont know much about it

I made a new pattern for doll cargo pants, and I have been testing variations. These are... more or less inspired by Y2K fashion. Kit, Shani, and the rerooted redhead Looks Tamika doll I've named Letitia, are wearing these. I don't think I've ever put more than six real pockets on one pair of doll pants, but these all have seven. I also made a new top and sleeves for Shani.

(The Heart Family MTM hybrid girl, who sneaked into one of the photos, is wearing an outfit I made in 2023/2024, but never got around to photographing much.)

The diorama in the background is made mostly from cardboard and egg cartons.
