I wanna draw a small funny comic for Mind My Gap, a Dutch web series that barely anyone ever talks about but holy shit is it worth it, it's basically vintage Homestuck in terms of time and space being fucked up, everyone being doomed by the narrative (the narrative is a guy who is present within the story but even he has no idea what he's doing) and characters never catching a break ever, also the central storyline is essentially two dudes breaking up dramatically and Satan deciding to fuck with them for the lulz, also a Minotaur is there and gore happens and someone shoots a baby mermaid. Absolute cinema.

Anyway, I tried to doodle the protagonists (pre-breakup, lol), the series has 75 different art styles so fuck if I know how they are even supposed to look like, the fuck is a quiff??? The designs aren't finished, expect them to look way different if I ever finish anything, they are my life right now so there's that. I am not letting go. I will draw cute fluffy things with them, get undoomed idiots *writers 5k words of heavy angst instead*.

I'm not sure if you are aware of this yet but recently someone published their own fanlore of Zom B. Chopper on ao3 if your interested I'm sure the author would love to hear your thoughts/insights on it :D

It took me until today to realize that chopper was what the Japanese call a bass slap or the slapping technique and just got me imagining that instead of Zom B. Chopper could it have been something like Zom B. Slapper XD

Chopper can mean so many things, I love it. A bass technique? A bike? A helicopter? A Japanese musician (though he likely got his stage name from the bass slap)? You may never know! And Chopper was apparently his name when he was a human, too, since Neko Nisei says he's "not [his] Chopper". Someone in a vaguely Ancient Egypt-inspired magical land ruled by talking cat spirits went and named their kid after a bass slap. Or a bike. The Zom B. Chopper situation keeps getting more and more ridiculous, can't wait for the weekend to maybe finally reach him in Busters 2 and see how the game treats him (spent my entire sick leave finishing all the quests in YKW3, zero regrets, can finally move onto B2 with full devotion).
