15 were from Saudi Arabia (a powerful/oil-rich country the U.S. works hard to maintain diplomatic relations with)

2 were from the United Arab Emirates (also a powerful/oil-rich country the U.S. works hard to maintain diplomatic relations with)

1 was from Egypt, 1 from Lebanon.

None of the hijackers were from Iraq.

None of the Sept 11 hijackers were Iraqi.

None of the 9/11 hijackers were from Iraq.

I have chronic pain and never thought of it that way thanks.

“If you have time to be on social media, you also have time for…” “If you have time to watch Netflix, you also have time for…” Yeah, but do I have the energy for it? Do I have the emotional and mental capacity for it? Am I pain-free enough for it? Can I focus on it? Can I do it without leaving my bed? Can I safely do it without risk of (physically or emotionally) injuring myself by pushing past my boundaries?

100% correct. i had this for years, and now im on birth control every day to prevent my cycle because having one can be detrimental to my health. Im not a gyn, but that sounds like endometriosis to me. It's what i have, and with the medicine and no cycle, im doing a lot better. Sure, sometimes i get hormone swings or cramps, but its no where near as bad as what i was dealing with before the diagnostic surgery i had. If you are dealing with this, go see a gyn. This is not normal and should be dealt with asap.

whenever i have those brutal searing being-dissolved-from-inside period cramps during school or work i pretend i am a viking warlord who has been stabbed in the abdomen but i killed the assailant so i’m the only one who knows im injured and i have to carry on normally til the end of the battle to keep up my mens morale

I’ve seen a lot of posts on my dash tonight about users who are threatening suicide, with other Tumblr members posting in effort to try to get ahold of them. I think you all should see this:

IF THERE IS EVER A TUMBLR USER WHO HAS POSTED A GOOD-BYE MESSAGE, SUICIDE NOTE, VIDEO, OR ANYTHING OF THE SORT, PLEASE FOLLOW THIS POST.

1. Scroll to the top of your dashboard.

2. See the circular question mark icon at the top? It’s the third one over from your home symbol. Click on that, and a screen similar to the one in the picture will come up.

3. Where you can type in questions, the box with the magnifying glass at the top, type in the word “suicide.”

4. Click on the first link that shows up. It should say, “Pass the URL of the blog on to us.”

5. Type in the user’s URL and tell Tumblr admin that the user is contemplating suicide and has posted a message indicating that they are going through with it or will be attempting. Hit send! Tumblr administration will perform a number of actions to contact the user and take the necessary steps to prevent the suicide.

TUMBLR: THIS COULD SAVE A USER’S LIFE. PLEASE DO NOT IGNORE SUICIDE THREATS.

MDC AU

MDC. That was all anyone could talk about was this mysterious MDC, and it all started from one interview.

“Jagged Stone, could you tell us who you are wearing tonight to this 25th music award ceremony” the interview asked the well know rock star.

“Well I don’t know if they want their identity out yet, so I won’t say as they wouldn’t be very rock and roll of me. However I can give you their initials. My designer is MDC and they are amazing!” Jagged said before he began singing more praises about the mystery designer.

After that it seems the mysterious MDC quickly became the go to celebrity designer. Everyone who was anyone wanted a piece of clothing design by MDC. Their clothing was label a good luck charm as often good things would happen when they wore said clothing.

However no one every reveal their identity.

Anyone who commissioned a piece from MDC eventually meets them so its a more personal piece. However the media wasn’t getting away with finding out this mysterious designers identity. All they got was praises.

‘I’ve never seem someone who had such a eye for color!’

‘I have the hardest time finding clothes and designer because of my allergy to Cotten. However MDC was great, so willing to help me’

‘They will take over the fashion world’

‘If I could hired them to be my full time designer I would. Hell I think every celebrity could say the same thing’

Marinette heard the praises of this mysterious MDC again and again to the point she had just toned it out. Why? You figure an upcoming designer would want to have an foot up on her competition. But here’s the thing.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng is MDC.

She was the famous and amazing designer that everyone was talking about. Bless jagged and the other celebrity for being so understanding about why she was keeping it a secret. She was dealing with a lot of crap from school, then add in the sabotage from classmates; she felt their was a target on her back and she wasn't comfortable making it bigger just yet.

Until tonight.

It seems many high brand fashion from all over the world were planning to come to this award show. They had all made it pretty clear that they were trying to get MDC to be their next head designer, will to do whatever it takes to get the mysterious designer on board. Marinette has her eyes on the company ‘Lucky Bug’ as the owner was a lot like her and she seem just really excited to see the upcoming talent.

So despite being in the classroom she want really listening, she was trying to mental prepare herself for the show tonight.

“Of course I know MDC” Lila said to the class as they flocked around her like sheep. Marinette rolled her eyes and turn away, not bothering to even look in the liars direction.

“He’s amazing and have asked me for advice on numerous occasions. He so in love with me, he’s asked me out so many times however I’ve had to turn him down; it wouldn’t feel right with all the traveling” Lila said and she had seemed to gain Adrien attention.

“Seriously you know him? My father been trying to get in contact with him, could set something up?” Adrien asked as the other students nodded in agreement.

“Sure, just don’t bother going to the awards show. I know they say he’s going to be there but he had such bad anxiety with crowds he could never go through with it. I’ll get you an appointment tomorrow” Lila said with a smile continuing the story of how she met the mysterious designer. People typing stuff down, Alya making a blog post.

Oh she could wait till tomorrow.

It was true she was nervous at the awards ceremony, however Jagged or one of her clients was always with her easing her discomfort. The she remembers the camera being shoved into jagged face.

“Hello everyone! This is designer I’ve been telling you about Miss, MDC also know as Marinette Dupain-Cheng, the most rock n rolled designer out there” Jagged said to a camera with a smile. Other clients began singing her praise as the fashion CEO’s got closer to her, to get a better look at this young design.

Finally the interviewer started to ask her questions.

“You seemed very young for a designer, could we ask your age?” They asked.

“It’s very rude to ask someone their age ya know. But sense you asked so nicely I’ll answer. I’m 14 years old” Marinette said as she joked with the interview.

“14 years old?! That’s amazing. You’ve accomplish what most designer couldn’t do in a lifetime so young. Why did you stay hidden for so long” the interviewer asked.

“While my life in design and commissions are going well, my personal life isn’t so luck. Their have been numerous people who have actively tried to sabotage my stuff. Even today at school their was one girl who tells lies about me and has actively tried to steal my design book. I wasn’t going to risk them knowing and possibly ruin one of my clients pieces” Marinette explain with more sadness in her eyes, everything she has said was true, however it was the first time she had to admit it outloud. Jagged definitely wasn’t happy hearing this.

“Who’s been bully my favorite niece? Why didn’t you tell me?” Jagged ask with a mix of anger and sorrow.

“I didn’t want you to worry, it wasn’t a big deal” Marinette said almost forgetting that the interviewer and CEOs were there.

“It does sound like a big deal if they were effect your ability to work. But that does being up the question, why reveal you identity now?” The interviewer asked, and Marinette just smile.

“I’m revealing it now because I have a list of clients who I have helped out and swear by my clothing. I have already build up my name and reputation; I don’t have to worry about some one trying to sabotage it before it can be built” Marinette answer truthfully with a smile.

“If you come work for us, we can get you a full time body guard” a CEO of an America company yelled out.

“No! Come work for us. We will pay for all your school and education you need! Along with whatever benefits you want!” Another CEO yelled.

It seemed company after company yelled offers for jobs to the 14 year old. Marinette didn’t know what to do but thankfully Jagged came to the rescue.

“Hey hey! You’re scaring the little lady. Write down all your information and your offers; I’ll make sure penny gives it directly to Marinette” Jagged said making the sea of voice died down.

With the night coming to a close one thought rang in Marinette mind.

‘I wonder what school will be like tomorrow?’

Humans Are Weird

So there has been a bit of “what if humans were the weird ones?” going around tumblr at the moment and Earth Day got me thinking. Earth is a wonky place, the axis tilts, the orbit wobbles, and the ground spews molten rock for goodness sakes. What if what makes humans weird is just our capacity to survive? What if all the other life bearing planets are these mild, Mediterranean climates with no seasons, no tectonic plates, and no intense weather? 

What if several species (including humans) land on a world and the humans are all “SCORE! Earth like world! Let’s get exploring before we get out competed!” And the planet starts offing the other aliens right and left, electric storms, hypothermia, tornadoes and the humans are just … there… counting seconds between flashes, having snowball fights, and just surviving.

Lila Rossi on Dr. Phil

So Mari would be tired of lila so her boyfriend (Felix or damian or hell even kagami or adrien out of annoyance would email Dr Phil in a message that would look something like this

Dear Dr Phil Show,

My name is (name?) And I'm righting about a girl in my gf class named Lila Rossi. She is a pathological liar and claims things like she got titinus from saving Jagged Stones cat from a runway and how she was invited to prince ali's palace to talk about a green campaign. She also claims to have a wrist injury and has seen someone's eyeball cut out with a napkin. She said she was out of country at the time but her akuma form was spotted on heros day. She has excepted a akuma willingly and is bullying my gf as well as turning her friends against her. Please help us stop this liar.

So he responded And she got on the show with parental permission.

While there she trys to lie like Normal but Dr Phil ain't having any of it.

(For the purpose of this au Dr. Phil is international)

He rips apart her lies on international TV and uses evidence given by Felix to back up his claims.

The show is filmed outside Paris so she can't be akumatized.

Her mom finds out and makes her apologize and plans sends her to a Italian boarding school for the misbehaved.

But no lila is arrested on account of terrorism and willing working with a known terrorist
