Apparently there is now fanfiction based on my The Princess Bride post. This fandom is beautiful.

some of you need to realize that your faves would be having unsafe bdsm sex because they don’t actually know what bdsm sex is, they just want to fuck and also kill each other. you must understand this.
#hoffstrahm#these middle aged men are so fucking bad at communication#unrestrained violence is their foreplay#they want to tear each other apart#(quite literally most of the time)#there’s a reason the fandom is convinced Hoffman jerked off with Strahm’s severed hand

That’s right, pour 6 ounces of cocaine and 20 vitamin tablets in your coffee and you’ll never have to sleep again.

Complete crack headcanon, but The Princess Bride movie exists in the Saw universe. Strahm has seen it, Hoffman hasn’t. At some point when their relationship gets past the “I am actually going to kill you” stage of being on the run, Strahm starts quoting the “Good night, Westley. Good work. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning” bit on occasion, usually paraphrased. Hoffman has no idea what the fuck he’s talking about. When he finally realizes that Hoffman hasn’t seen the movie before, he makes both of them sit down to watch it because “it’s a good movie, shut up and stop complaining.”
Hoffman enjoys it more than he’s willing to admit, but has a fucking aneurysm about halfway through the film when he realizes that the nagging sensation of familiarity he’s been experiencing since the beginning is because the blond twink looks exactly like Lawrence Gordon, just 20 years younger. This is made infinitely worse when Strahm, oblivious to his partner’s internal crisis, mentions off-hand that he used to have a bit of a crush on the actor playing Westley when he first saw it back in his twenties. Hoffman is losing his mind, both over that bit of information and over the fact that Gordon might be/might have been kinda totally hot.
#it makes no sense#I just think it would be really funny#it is up to you whether Cary Elwes is an entirely different person or not#mark hoffman#peter strahm#coffinshipping#hoffstrahm#saw#sawposting
