i’m constantly reading and researching bipolar disorder and it’s understand it so well that i feel like even the doctors and nurses at the psych ward understand it. all everyone knows about bipolar is bipolar depression, that’s all everybody talks about and every medication commercial is aimed only for depression when it’s like uhhhhh MANIA EXISTS??? and it’s like ten thousand times more destructive than depression???? bipolar people statistically don’t even usually commit suicide when they’re depressed they typically do it when they’re in a mixed manic state, because depression just makes them not want to live or shower or do anything but they don’t have the energy or motivation to actually follow through with a plan. manic and mixed episodes GIVE them that energy and motivation.

i feel like i need to commit my life to helping bring attention to mania im so sick of depression getting all the glory when depression just sits there and doesn’t do anything. mania destroys everything and everyone around it.

quick update: he’s fully back to normal and is back to wanting to marry me again and everything. but he’s stuck there until monday. which sucks but was GREAT when he was manic, the longer the better while he was sick. but now that he’s snapped out of it and back to his normal self it seems like boring purgatory lol

i feel like being on tumblr gives me back luck so i’ll make this quick. he’s much better and we’re in a good place. he calls me constantly, is back to saying “i love you” and talking about sex and kissing me again. i visited him last night and he made me a bracelet and he made me a card (plus he sang me a song he wrote in music therapy).

the card says:

Hey! let’s just say i’m sorry! Also i’m glad you exist and are here, in person and in my life. You’re my everything, my juice, my sauce, my essence. Thanks for being 90% of my mental health support system.

i don’t have the energy i used to and i’ve lost the ability to type out full length novels anymore for some reason but i wish i could describe to you people exactly how his mania is because it’s so fucking complex and fascinating while also being so fucking crazy. i’ve never heard of anybody acting like he does and yet he’s also poster child mania it’s so bizarre. he needs to be studied im not joking. he is the most manic person i’ve ever met and in the worst way possible. god i hope he’s sleeping right now and it fixes him. i hope to god they give him haldol at some point and it cures him like it did last time
