Have you ever clicked on a reply and had to take a lap around your room before responding because it’s just THAT FUCKING GOOD? That’s writing with Ray, and GOD DAMN. 

His Alucard is a perfectly crafted characterization of a traumatized bad ass! He took into account every aspect of Alucard’s past, his transgressions and his traumas, and spent days, weeks, months thinking on how this would effect Alucard as he develops, how the memory remains. Each layer of the character is so dynamic, but it blends so amazingly well, it’s a masterpiece! 

His Donald Pierce has so many layers and is such a dynamic character, it makes writing with him a treat no matter the plot! He’s taken a character who’s story in the movie is ‘bad man hurt kids’ and turned him into a fucked up but fascinating reflection on how parenting can effect society, all while not trying to make this bastard a sympathetic character - it’s incredible!

With Dabi Ray took a concept, a fandom theory, and turned it into a character that’s so complex that each and every thread is something like a novel to read, despite not being a part of it. It’s fascinating to see how he’s crafted differing relationships with this incredible character. 

And his OCs!! @dominicrenfield​ is an amazing example, but each and every OC Ray creates he spends ages putting thought and hard work into, researching every aspect of their personality and working out little things that make them tick. Each OC he writes is different, yet amazing. 

Ray is an amazing writer, change my fucking mind.
