“Well, that’s just insulting. It could taste like sunshine and rainbows for all you know!” He exclaimed, throwing a few more things in before tossing on the lid of the blender. He turned it on the lowest setting to avoid making her head pound further. “Oh yeah? You got this fucked up all on your own? You win the gold star. Even I generally have some company when I get wasted. Did you at least have a good time at home with yourself?” He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively.
“I don’t know if I trust your hangover fix, or if I’ll even be able to stomach it. “ She let her head fall into her hands for a moment as she groaned. Every sound seemed amplified, and she knew the sound of a blender wasn’t going to make it any better. Of course, she didn’t need to say that. “I didn’t go out. I was at home. Like a normal adult.”

“I’m not even talking loudly.” He muttered, knowing it was the hangover talking. He’d had more than a few of his own in the past few years. Course, he was a lot better at handling them. “I’ll make you the hangover fix.” He pushed himself from the chair and gathered a number of random ingredients from various spaces in the small area. “Could’ve at least invited me out drinking. Could’ve done body shots.” He added, as he shoved some things into a blender.

“Please stop talking so loud. I know it’s like 3 pm but I’m still hungover, alright?” Cathy wasn’t even bothering to hide it. Of course, this happened at least every other week so it wasn’t all that surprising that she was attempting to function in the real world while being disgustingly nauseated.
