idk I don't understand why people are seriously discussing that Ed was raped? it did not look like that to me when he was making out with Stede and literally jumped on him

I actually think that he in fact did have sex with Stede because he thought that it could help him with the way he was feeling. been there myself. when I was at my lowest point mental health wise I was having sex with strangers just to feel alive, and I was absolutely sure it would help me with my depression. but nuh-uh, I have always regretted it the next day and I knew it was no good for me, and that I was making mistakes, and I regretted it a lot just like Ed did. yet not even once I thought that these people raped me.

Ed actually did not say "no" to Stede (well, at least it was not shown to us). I am absolutely sure that have Ed told Stede that he didn't want to have actual sex, Stede would not push him - they would just cuddle or smth
