I still won't forget when my wisdom tooth got infected and couldn't sleep bc the pain was so bad and I took like 4 of those those blue gel ibuprofens and I finally fell asleep for a couple hours and kept having dreams about beautiful glowing blue animals that help you and I kept waking up thinking the blue animals will help me and realizing wait what are blue animals they aren't real and immediately falling back asleep thinking about the blue animals again

I'm (finally) playing Pokemon Violet in Spanish this time

I named my character Almudena

Not just because it's a cool name from Spain

But also because there's a pokemon that has a giant hammer who's coming on my team

Because once upon a time I came across the name Almudena - which I didn't realize was a Marian name for "Our Lady of Almudena" which is very common in Spanish-speaking countries to have a name related to Mary [Nuria, Guadalupe, Soledad, Dolores etc]

...

But see I thought that the name was "sledgehammer"

Because in Spanish a "sledgehammer" is la almádena [also almádana].... not Almudena

And for a brief time I thought for some reason that Almudena was like "Our Lady of the Sledgehammer" which is a 10/10 DND idea but sadly not true for real life here so
