“the food here is bomb, i just had their pizza,” she said to hadley. “chessiest thing ever, so delicious.” she might have been over exaggerating how good it was but it was keeping her mind of her nerves, even for the slightest bit. “who are you excited to see perform? i’m really pumped about zedd, and also kings of lean, i might faint seeing them live.”

“they have pizza too? shit, i don’t know why i’m surprised. of course, they have pizza. i had a burrito and fuck, i died.” hadley retorted, grinning at the fact it seemed to be getting vivi’s mind off of her nerves. “oh, zedd will be bomb! i’m super excited for your set, though. you’re gonna kill it.”

vivi was getting fitted for her performance, making sure everything looked good one final time before going on stage. she had been nervous all day, she’s used to performing, but festivals usually have bigger crowds, it was only natural that she would be this nervous. “can you tell that i’m freaking out?” she asked with a smile on her face as she saw the other walk in. “thank for coming to see me before my performance, it means a lot.” she said to them as she turned for her stylist, michelle. “as you can see i had one too many pizza slices before getting here, my skirt is barely zipping.” she laughed.

hadley’s nose crinkled as she chuckled at the girl’s obvious nerves. “i mean— i’m goin’ to be honest and tell you that yes, i can tell. but you shouldn’t be freaking out. you’re goin’ to kill it, v.” the brunette retorted, squeezing her friend’s arm reassuringly. “of course i’m here, couldn’t miss wishing you luck. not that you’ll need it, but you know. the sentiment’s there.”
