The core idea behind this piece, lies in the paradoxical way of assembling its elements. A soft, deformed mattress and a cold metallic surface are being strapped together tightly with belts and pushed closer to the floor. Using the metallic surface as the sitting element and the soft material as the supporting base, our objects aim to comment on the role of materials, based on their properties, in industrial design.
