Jeff Hong, an animation storyboard artist living in NYC, creates these images of Disney characters as if they existed in the real world. Some of them are funny and heartbreaking at the same time. Some of them are just plain sad.

This is my final lenticular in A2. I am very very proud of it and happy with the outcome. I think it's a clever technique as my face follows you wherever you stand and the change is far smoother in a larger image. It's better than I hoped!

Courageous women speak out against corrective rape

Grace Brown has photographed hundreds of survivors and received submissions from thousands more since starting Project Unbreakable in October 2011. Her images document the threatening, demeaning and downright misguided comments that sexual abusers use to torment and subdue their victims.

Some pictures capture a particularly haunting aspect of sexual victimization: so-called “corrective rape,” a hate crime used against LGBT people as punishment or in the belief that forcing them to have heterosexual sex will “cure” them of their homosexuality.\

'Selfie' by Dove. This was released at the Sundance Film Festival and I think it's a pretty powerful and emotional film. It is eight minutes long and like other Dove Campaigns aims to make women, this time mothers and their high school daughters, see their natural beauty.  I think 'Selfie' relates to my work even more than Sketches did. This talks about more than sketches did and is more similar to my interviews and half face photographs than I have taken for my  dissertation and honours work.

This weekend, two students in my school committed suicide.  A few upperclassmen got thousands of sticky notes and wrote nice sayings on them and put one on every single locker in the school in hopes of lifting everyone’s spirits and making sure everyone knows that they aren’t alone

So I wanted to make a two way image of make-up and no make-up. This is my first attempt and I am quite happy with it. However, I am going to learn to do lenticular printing at the DCA with David Lyons and one of his friends to create a more professional piece for my exposition.

Feeling totally deflated. Job hunting for 3 hours has got me nowhere. I haven't got any coursework done and I am exhausted from burning the candle at both ends.
