The title sums it up, but here’s a blog about horses, art, and being a new veterinarian. I also post a lot of cat videosI think I count as a Vetblr...?
First year in practice is saying "let me see if I have the materials on my truck" and then using that brief space to call your more experiencing mentor for help on a case at high speed
Having goldfish is somehow ending up with three separate tanks each housing one fish when the 60 gallon could hold everybody because the complicated social politics of my goldfish ended up something like this:
One of them is a raging a**hole and tries to beat up every other fish she sees unprovoked, so she lives alone
One of them is such a pacifist that mild interaction and any form of other fish aggression stresses her out enough that she gets sick, so she lives in the quarantine tank that was meant for getting new fish and properly quarantining them prior to introduction
One of them is arguably a normal fish socially and now lives with the pleco and about a billion snails in the 60 gallon by his lonesome
I'd get more fish to give him (the normal one in the 60 gallon) friends. But the quarantine tank is currently in use indefinitely and I don't want to get a fourth tank. You see my dilemma here
