Everyone meet Rue. They don’t actually say his name till later so I’ll just give it to you guys now. He’s a regular Midday Lycanroc besides the fact that he’s pretty large in comparison to the ‘average’. The tips of his collar spikes seem to be tattooed like Dai’s horns.

The Manectric approached her after awhile of being alone. She tilted her head towards him as he spoke and frowned. How did he… ? She flicked her tail, figuring he probably knew of the location of their new base since she was headed in that direction, and made a lucky guess.

“Support… Help?” She repeated, walking forward slowly around him. Drawing her tail close to him and close along his side, but not touching him. She walked around him, stopping on his other side. “Help with what?”

Dai’s voice purred and a smile crossed her face.

“Are you trying to be a hero or a villain?”

So. I think I’m going to close down asks for now. Once the plot gets rolling, I don’t know how many asks could really become ‘cannon’ to the story. Although I might make it to where any asks Dai gets are no longer cannon unless specified, and just do them in an aside/interview sort of way. I think I’m going to run plot posts in a comic-like form because I’m really loving the plot I have so far and how its going to go. However, I do not want to leave interaction out of it. Which is why I may sometimes ask for characters to be volunteered to appear as certain entities in the story. They’d be cannon to her story, but not exactly to yours if you don’t want it to be. Think of it as an AU for your own character (I’d work with you so I get their personalities right). And I may also give a choose-your-way sort of interaction, so if there’s a situation and I can’t decide which way it should go, I’ll leave it to you all~

We will see how it ends up. Anything could change. But I believe this is how I want to go about it for now. I hope you guys will enjoy following Dai and the other characters of the story as well. This is just the beginning. Much love <3

Dai's expression did not change, although her eyes looked almost sad as she continued to walk.

"Now she is what she has been made to be. And I will be here to support her through it all, because that is what I am made to be."

Dai recognized the Marowak before before it even spoke. She suppressed her reactions, knowing it probably had no idea who she really was. However, she knew she couldn't just let it leave without a little something. It asked about her job and she smirked, what a golden opportunity.

The area around the two dimmed as she walked forward, curling in a pattern around the Marowak as they raised their flaming bone is defense. Dark purple smoke rolled out of her mouth slowly as she spoke.

"Well. Wouldn't you like to know.. hmm? Guardian." She emphasized the title like she was mocking it. Her barbed tail aimed and steadied like it was ready to strike forward at any moment. The Houndoom smiled, flashing toothy fangs.

"Some thought our team was gone. Wiped from the planet with the raid on our last base. So many of us were lost that for awhile. Even we thought we'd be done for. Forced to retire and live... normal but hidden lives."

Dai kept her small beady red eyes trained on the Marowak's, ready to react at any move. "You ask what my duty is, hmm? I seek out my target... and destroy them." Her voice purred as she spoke as if she was particularly proud of herself. Slowly, she retracted her tail and stepped away from the Marowak.

"I am not one of the good guys, Menel.. was it? I think I've read your name on a wanted poster in the base... Best stay away, Guardian. Unless of course you want to walk right into the dragons den. " She smiled. The area lightening up as she turned, her attention still focused on the Marowak as she began to leave.

Maybe some other day she would have tried to fight the Marowak. But.. she couldn't be late. ( @ask-the-pokemon-guardians )
