I headcanon that Pyro really, really hates checkups and has to be dragged to them kicking and screaming. They just like their privacy and they don’t like medic getting up in their bodily business.

Out of everyone I think Medic is the only one Pyro would have personal beef with, and Medic dreads having to work on them because they can and will punch him if he has to do anything they don’t like.

He doesn’t even experiment on them, tries to give them space, just general checkup stuff but they are not having it lol

They turn a new leaf when Medic eventually incorporates a jar of candy for good behavior into his lab, pretty much immediately they’re like “oh yay we’re friends now ^^” and medics like “this little shit…”

Sorry for the rambling I just love this dynamic lol

Summary of my TF2 AU!

A general summary, just to clear things up, is that the respawn machine has once again created something fuckt up and evil (yeah I'm so original). Basically, every single time the respawn machine had brought the mercs back to life and erased the few memories of their death, it had also accumulated every single piece of agony and trauma that the mercs collected! As this Agony slowly grew, it started to gain sentience and grow stronger through every single respawn. One day, it finally wishes to escape respawn, to leave the hell it was born in, and it clings to the best merc it can get its grubby claws on.

In comes medic. The one with fast access to every merc, and is generally forced to be in proximity to each one consistently. It hatched a plan, which was to simply use Medic's Check-Ups (which it gained information of through the mercs memories) and slowly gain control of each merc.

Its one and only goal? It is a parasite. It only wants one thing, and that is to feed and spread. And what does it feed on, you might ask? Well, that's where its name came from!

Agony.

And this is where the name of this AU now comes from! Everybody! say hello to my new au:
