tbh impossible to just pick one because, i'm genuine about this, i have so much love for almost all senbasa characters so ugh why am i even doing this to myself, but okay

so my favorite favorite is masamune

maybe a little too biased but i have my excuses for it in which i'm not gonna write because i'm jank and there's so many reasons to love the guy, but to put simply, his pain in the ass attitude, his growth, his soft side, his eagerness, and in my case, the way he handles the sword hits hard to me (i'm weak for samurais with particular sword handling ik it's weird)

and i have to say this because i don't wanna leave them in the dark, but kojuro and yukimura are fighting for second place, because they own my whole heart and i love them, and they're precious

chronicle heroes i guess? i couldn't really get used to the psp games but i feel like battle heroes still had that oomph to it, while chronicle heroes just didn't really do anything to me, idk it just felt mid 😅 but i love the op sequence though!

like i said yesterday, eiyuu gaiden is my all time favorite game/senbasa game

simply the best. the stories are my favorite of all the series, i can never get bored of the stages, the music (the menu and character selection music hits home), the dialogues (masamune and kojuro's lines here are SO FUN!), all of them hit differently in this game 😭🙏

though i love doing combos and this game doesn't really allow you to do so, the gameplay here owns my heart 🥺😭

at second place would be senbasa 3. they introduced the routes mechanism for the first time here, and that just mean so much to me idk 😭. stories and cutscene are also chef's kiss ✨

(sumeragi would very much be in this list if i had even one chance to play it lmao)
