Is that why Scottish people insult him so much whenever he’s there? -THE MORE YOU KNOW-

That and he’s been sticking his nose into our affairs for quite a while regarding his fucking failure of a golf course. (Both of which are failing, he’s lost millions, and also he hasnae paid his taxes for either of them so HMRC are gonnae want a wurd at some point.)

He tried to bully our parliament into not putting wind farms off our coastline—wind farms that created a lot of needed jobs as well as clean sustainable energy—because it would “ruin his view” (dinnae fash, we’re building them anyway) while simultaneously building a giant earth mound around his failing golf course (have I mentioned it’s failing?) and blocking the people WHO HAVE LIVED THERE ALL THEIR LIVES from the view. Not to mention leaving some families, including a 92 year old woman, without running water for five years.

When he tried to make a media spin about their living conditions he first tried to say that their houses were “slums” and people should be ashamed to live in them, and then unsurprisingly when Scottish people didn’t get off his dick about it 24/7, he tried to backtrack saying that Mrs Forbes, reminded him of his mother, to which the dear old biddy bit back:  “He mustn’t have treated her very well then.“

At which point neighbors of the golf course both started flying the Mexican flag in “solidarity with those Trump has disrespected”. Both of which can be seen from around the golf course, and from the expensive clubhouse. So everywhere he goes on his golf course, it’s visible.

He also tried to drive people out of their homes, shut down local businesses, and built a fucking wall along a property line and tried to charge the residents living on the other side for the bill. And as it was revealed later last year, wrote screeds of letters to the then Scottish Minister, talking about how he personally was going to “save Scotland”.

So if people don’t quite understand why Scotland has such a passionate venom for the man. This is a huge factor in why. That and everything else.

And as we Scots tend to do, we’ve adopted telling him to fuck off as our new national pastime. And we are a nation well known for being expressive in that regard.

So for whatever it’s worth, there will always be a northern tip of an island, burning up with rage. And making sure his golf courses are financial failures. Because fuck him.
