Happy Pride everyone! My name is CURIOSCURIO or CASSIE, and I’m seeking help funding my escape from Florida to the sanctuary state of Minnesota. You may have seen some of my comics or fanart or weird sculptures around Tumblr, and I hope they made you smile (or grimace).

Well, today I’m selfishly asking for help with a personal matter: moving out. I’ve been living with my parents again for the past 4 years and my mental health situation has gotten dire. Florida’s transphobic laws and anti-lgbtq bigotry is getting more and more alarming, and it no longer feels like a safe area to live as a queer person. I cannot keep living with my parents no matter how hard I’ve tried, and I need to leave this horrible state or the stress is going to kill me. I want to be free.

Honestly, as a German I can not quite understand the obsession of the English speaking world with the question whether a word exists or not. If you have to express something for which there is no word, you have to make a new one, preferably by combining well-known words, and in the very same moment it starts to exist. Agree?
