What is a Media Literate Person?

There are a lot of things a media literate person can do. First from the word media she or he knows how to use new media or the new technologies nowadays like cellphone, digital camera, camcorders and laptops. They can understand how media works. Next this person must be familiar with social media like facebook, twitter and many more. A media literate person knows how to interact or communicate with other people. They know how to express their thoughts and feelings. These people are also an open minded person understands or accept other perception and multiple viewpoints from other people. Knows how to emphasize. They also ask a lot of question because they can understand new media. They also know how to differentiate realiable news from the fake one. They can absorb or understand the information given to them.
