A Thought
Poetry A Thought Why does joy not inspirer me to poetry? When I am filled with joy, I dance. (A fearsome sight.) When I feel life bubbling up inside I overflow in a song. (An alarming noise, for sure) But, Joy does not bring about poetry in me. I wish I could express the love I feel. In words. I find words to express my hurt, my rage, my pain, my betrayal, my sadness, the words to express these dark emotions are easy to find. Close to the surface. Why? Is my nature a dark chasm? Many would argue that this dark cavern cannot inspire poetry. Only a rambling that leaves them shaking their head and muttering, doubting my sanity. But, I'm not singing.

Mirrors
Poetry March 24, 2013 You have always been there, Right or wrong. Always seeming so strong Tears on a pillow? Get over it, carry on. Step over, A heart that bleeds, Leading to the future. Knees knocking together. You taught strength. Wounded and alone. Only look back in the mirror, Eyes fixed on the horizon.

My home
Poetry March 24 I remember her hands, Soft and strong. Quick to smack, Gold band, glinting in the light. Never a tremor. Knife, pen, hammer, Sure in your hand. Offered at the corner. Safety, in the flesh. Waving good-bye, Blowing a kiss. Don't let go, until.. We reach the other side.

Pennsylvania 1977
Poetry 1977 Rootless In the wind. Never knowing when, We be packing up again. Finding a place That would always be home. Being able to return. A port in every storm. How do we lose this? Can you love a house? A place? An address? home was One, always there, With answers, Directions, A slap, a hug. Then we found viburnum, Sitting on a hill. We fought and lied, Sweat? tears? To keep this refuge when all else failed, You sold yourself. body, mind, soul. shut your mouth. spread your legs. Nothing was too dear, Above these bricks. now again we Face the fight.

Poetry August 15, 2013 A ghost, Hovering, Wisp of smoke Smoldering lips, Edges smooth and slick, Edges, rough and jagged. Creeping over the glib. Remnants, clinging to shards. Movement, Flickering at the corner Of the world's eye. Turn and nothing's there. Just a thread, Stuck on jagged teeth Soaking your shoes in red. A specter, Silent and screaming. Adrift Rootless Clinging at the edges Of life.

October 2013 - is this poetry?
Safe and warm, Quiet and clean. Hiding with my head, Underneath the covers. No ones mother, No mans lover. No daughter Loyal and loving. Safe Warm Quiet Clean. No worries. No one can hear you scream. Not here, not there. Invisible to the world. Hiding underneath the bedcovers. Don't look here. Don't look Don't hear. Screaming in my head. Hiding in my bed. Underneath. Safe and warm.

A useless rant from October 2016
October 22, 2016 Being a Hillary Clinton supporter isn’t always easy. Not because I question my support of her, but because literally hundreds of millions of dollars (over nearly a quarter century) has been spent trying to slander her name. The list of conspiracies, misinformation, lies and ridiculous propaganda people use to attack her is seemingly endless. Not a joke: There’s actually a website that tracks the “people the Clintons have had killed.” The list has well over 90 names — including John F. Kennedy, Jr. Yes, this list claims that the Clintons killed the eldest son of JFK. Oh! And apparently Bill Clinton isn’t actually Chelsea’s father. While President Obama has absolutely endured a lot of scrutiny as president, nobody comes close to what Hillary Clinton has had to endure — for nearly 25 years. So, in the spirit of the multi-hundred million dollar campaign that’s been spent trying to keep one woman out of the White House, I thought I’d take a few moments to debunk many (though not all, because I’m sure I’ll forget about as many as I’m about to list) of the myths, lies and ridiculous conspiracies that many people actually believe about Hillary Clinton. Multiple Republican-led investigations have found that she wasn’t responsible for what happened in Benghazi: Despite what many Republican voters believe, the indisputable facts prove that there was nothing Hillary Clinton could have done to prevent what happened. And if you don’t believe me, or the Republicans in Congress who were desperately trying to blame this on her, then just ask the family of the late Ambassador Chris Stevens who’ve said it’s unfair to blame Clinton and they’re sick of his name being used for petty, political games. No, Hillary Clinton didn’t “sleep through” the Benghazi attack: Actually, when the Benghazi attack occurred, it was mid-afternoon in Washington and she issued a public statement at 10 p.m. that night. Even in her infamous emails it shows she was emailing people around 11 p.m. that evening about the attack. There was no “stand down” order given by Hillary Clinton or the Obama administration: Yeah, despite popular right-wing folklore, this never happened. Furthermore, as Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton didn’t actually have that power. She did not unilaterally approve a uranium deal with the Russians based on donations to the Clinton Foundation: Not only did nine other government departments have to sign off on this deal, even the author of Clinton Cash has admitted that there’s really no substainal evidence linking some sort of “pay for play” scheme while she was Secretary of State. Everything he claimed was based entirely on circumstantial evidence — which has been soundly debunked. And if you don’t believe me, just ask Fox News’ Chris Wallace who called out the author of Clinton Cash (where this myth started) last year for not having a “single piece of evidence that she was involved in this deal.” While she was wrong to say that no emails marked classified passed through her server, the FBI director did say that none of the ones that did were properly marked, and that it was “reasonable” for someone to not be aware that they were classified: When FBI Director James Comey was asked by Rep. Matt Cartwright (D-PA) if the emails Clinton received were properly marked, he said they lacked the proper headers and banners indicating they were classified and it would be a “reasonable inference” to assume that, with the absence of those banners and headers, they weren’t classified. So, while she was wrong, based on Comey’s own words, she didn’t lie. Read more at: http://www.forwardprogressives.com/debunking-anti-hillary-clinton-myths-lies-conspiracies/ Now for what some on the left believe about Hillary Clinton. She’s no better than a Repubilcan and just as conservative: She was actually ranked the 11th most liberal senator (much more liberal than Obama was) when she served, and she voted with Bernie Sanders 93 percent of the time. So, unlesss the difference between Sanders and a “conservative Republican” is seven percent of a voting record, then claiming she’s “no better than a Republican” is ridiculous. If elected she would select conservative Supreme Court Justices: Based on what evidence? The last time we had a Clinton as president, he gave us Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Stephen Breyer — two of our most consistently liberal Justices. Her campaign contributions prove she’s nothing but a puppet for Wall Street: Actually, President Obama set a record for the amount raised by a candidate from Wall Street — then went on to pass strict financial regulations. She’s been too pro-Wall Street: Actually, aside from one somewhat pro-Wall Street vote in eight years as senator, the only other Wall Street related issue you’ll find on her record was in 2007 when she called for tighter regulations on the finacial industry. And if you don’t believe me, just ask Bernie Sanders who, when asked during a debate to provide examples where Clinton had been corrupted by Wall Street, couldn’t pinpoint anything in her record where donations had impacted her voting record as a senator. She opposes universal health care: The truth is, she was fighting for universal health care before a good chunk of Bernie Sanders’ voters were even born. Her stance this year was that she’d rather expand the Affordable Care Act to become true universal health care rather than start a whole new fight by trying to pass a completely different health care bill. Her argument was that she would rather fix what we have than start all over. Which actually makes sense! As a lawyer, she defended a rapist: While this is true, she was ordered by a judge to take the case. When she tried to get out of it, the judge denied her request. So, she could have either thrown her career down the drain or followed through with what she was legally required to do by defending a client she didn’t want, but was ordered to defend by a judge. She’s a shill for Walmart and served on their board of directors: While it’s true Clinton served on the board of Walmart, the reason why she was given that position was due in large part because Sam Walton was getting pressure to appoint a woman to the company’s board of directors. However, while serving on Walmart’s board, she became an advocate for hiring more women for management positions and pushed the company to adopt a much more comprehensive enviornmental program. So, yes, she served on Walmart’s board of directors from 1986-1992, and during that time she became a big advocate for the company promoting more women and establishing a much more extensive enviornmental She’s a shill for Walmart and served on their board of directors: While it’s true Clinton served on the board of Walmart, the reason why she was given that position was due in large part because Sam Walton was getting pressure to appoint a woman to the company’s board of directors. Though on the subject of GMO’s, if you don’t like Clinton’s positions, might I suggest you heed the words of Neil deGrasse Tyson. She only recently came out in support of same-sex marriage and equality for homosexuals: Yes, that’s true — but so did President Obama. Are we really going to attack someone for realizing a mistake and evolving on an issue? There are a lot of Democrats who once opposed same-sex marriage who now proudly support it. In fact, her husband (for the time he served) was considered the most “pro-gay” president in our nation’s history. Granted, by today’s standards many of the policies of the 90’s are archaic, but for their time they were incredibly progressive and controversial. I could keep going, but those are some of the biggest myths, conspiracies and outright lies many folks on both the left and the right actually believe about Hillary Clinton. It’s like I said the other day on Twitter, the vast majority of people I encounter who attack Hillary Clinton almost always use rhetoric that’s either based on blatant propaganda created simply to slander her name, ridiculous conspiracies, or an issue where the person is woefully misinformed about the actual facts. I probably won’t change many minds with what I’ve written here, but I felt as if these myths needed to be debunked. Feel free to hit me up on Twitter or Facebook and let me know what you think. An online discussion that has some good information.
The follow is a conversation I had with someone whose mind will never be changed, not by logic, not by reason and no it her God himself appeared to her and argued the pro-choice side. Still, most of the facts were mind, are backed up by fact and statistics and I'm pretty proud of it. I suggest you read and use these facts if, like me, you occasionally have to engage the other side. February 21, 2017 Abortion The question was what is my opinion on abortion today. It was posted by a page that used to promote discussion on differing religions. On January 01, 2017 the name changed to "Is Jesus the Reason?". Below are my thoughts, a comment on my thought and my extremely long reply to that comment. Dorothy Abernathy The women of Flint MI are NOT lining up for abortions even though the American government responsible for poisoning their babies has offered absolutely no support for the children born with lead caused birth defects. Maybe, just maybe, if all women were sure they'd be able to care for, feed, shelter, provide medical care and medication and educate their children, those who struggle with the decision might decide to carry their child to term. No, those you believe choose abortion because it's easy will never make the choice you want, whether or not it's legal. But those who are struggling to support the child or children they already have and worry every month that their own skipping meals won't stretch the food far enough or that that keeping the heat at 60 and putting double sweatshirts, sweatpants and double socks on the kids won't have the oil last until the next delivery maybe those women would welcome a child if they knew they could provide for it. And the women living in their cars with a child or more, they don't decide to abort because they don't love children. The moment the anti-abortion movement become the pro-child movement they will have my full support. As long as a majority ignore the women struggling every day to raise their children while being blamed for being poor and/or uneducated, I'll direct my support to those children who don't know if or when their next meal is coming from. Valdis Vogt This does not make murder ok. You say the children need to be cared for but then if they can not be cared for they should be murdered? Think about it like this: use every argument for abortion on that of a child outside of the womb and you will see how corrupt this sounds. A child can be given up for adoption as well. Murdering your own child is not love and never will be. Dorothy Abernathy 101,840. That is a very large number. It's also the number of children available for adoption in 2013, the most recent year a report is available, according to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. You might think that anyone mentally, physically and financially prepared would be able to adopt a child. Yet according to the publication "LifeNews" there are 36 couples waiting for every baby adopted. It seems like those two facts couldn't co-exists but the reason it took me over 3 hours to reply was because I wanted to make sure both facts were correct. Plus, I must admit I was worried "LifeNews" anti-abortion viewpoint might skew the fact, but it's true. There are 36 traditional married couples for every baby adopted. I'm fairly certain the problem results from the fact that so many of the children in the governments statistics aren't newborn, aren't Caucasian and might be slightly less than physically or mentally perfect, depending on a person's definition of perfect. For those of us who share our lives with such children, and through the eyes of the God I worship everyone of the 101,840 are absolutely perfection, but that's just me. I understand the desire to cradle an infant in your arms, to rock him to sleep, to count those little fingers and toes, however many he may have been blessed with, I even understand wanting to change the dirty diaper because you know that you'll take the moment to warm the cold baby wipe in your hand to avoid giving your most precious darling a jolt with the contact of the cold wipe. I understand exactly why these couples want a baby. But if I had to miss the first 6 months, first year, first 5 years, I would because until you bring your child home you can't start. Start tickling, start fixing eggs just as she likes, brushing her hair and playing baby dolls, reading a bedtime story and come running when she cries out at night to chase away the monsters then staying beside her to keep the monsters away even though you'll have a stiff neck the next day. Children are a precious gift that should be treasured. So, why are so many without parents while so many want children? Just because the child must be an infant? Really? Interestingly, a young, pregnant, white woman can hire a lawyer who specializes in adoption and can manage to legally auction off her fetus to the highest bidder. I don't claim you or any anti-abortion believer condone such hideous behavior and I'm aware that there are good people taken advantage of by scam artist everyday. I also don't think you or any other anti-abortionist has the right to decide what decision I make if I find myself pregnant and unable to be the mother to my child. But I can understand why a young woman, and by young I mean young enough to get pregnant, would choose not to leave her child at the mercy of the State. This country is the best but when the subject is caring for orphan children, well the bar is set incredibly low. Since not every child has would-be parents lined up to adopt it and a fetus with a possible defect discovered during pregnancy can be left without options, touting adoption as the solution is a false option. Until the number of 101,840 is reduced to hundreds instead of hundreds of thousands, statistics say that only white, healthy infants have people lining up to adopt them. Now, perhaps I've buried the lead. I would love to see abortion become more rare than finding two rare wheat pennies in your Stop & Shop change. But that will never happen while we scream at each other from across our protest lines. Murder is wrong and watching a child die from a disease because she's has no health insurance due to a "pre-existing condition" is murder. Letting a child die of carbon monoxide poisoning because her family is living in a car is murder. I think it would be great to save the "unborn" and you might have a better shot if you educated our young people about how they get pregnant and if birth control weren't such a taboo subject. The demonized Planned Parenthood has stopped more abortions than any other organization in the World. But they treat sex like a fact of life and realize "just say no" has never worked. I've spent a great deal of time considering this subject and I wish I could be on your side but as long as the born are dying from neglect, I don't have the time or inclination to add to that list. You state that "murdering your own child is not love and never will be." I disagree. I think there are quick painful ways to die and long,, ugly, horrifically painful ways to die. I would pray that no one ever have to choose but until that day, I choose quick. Now I understand, that if you have your way, abortions would be illegal, and you and those who agree with you may just get your way, but they won't stop. Abortion has existed for as long as pregnancy. There have always been reasons women were desperate to avoid having a child. Now, with the availability of birth control and scientific sex education, fewer women find themselves with unwanted pregnancy, but until science develops a reversible but foolproof way to avoid getting pregnant there will be abortion, legal or not. Rich women will do what they did before Roe vs Wade, they'll either have a D&C preformed by their regular GYN or take a short vacation to some other country where abortion is legal. Poor women? Well reversing Roe vs Wade will see them doing the same thing they did before too. Dying. In which case, they are both lost. Maybe someday we will all put aside our absolute surety, and work together to save as many lives as possible without judgement. Or maybe we will all remain so sure we're right that we will never even try to see the other side and nothing will ever change, no matter what the law says. If you've read my entire rambling thoughts on this important subject, I thank you. I believe you are fighting for what you believe is right. As am I. So, from the other side, I wish you a New Year filled with health, happiness and peace. I think the following is an extremely interesting point of view. Is it truth? Those who might know cannot talk....and by the time they're able the memories will have faded away. Andre Linnell I dont expect modern christians or any of their teachers teachers to know or even pretend to know; Logically if any spirit exists within another; that is possession and that is against Gods law. So the spirit of the person birthing down one dimension must therefore enter the body on the first intake of breath after birth not on conception or magically during the growth.

Pre-Trump's GOP problems.
- [ ] Am at a loss. I am a patriotic American. I love my country, no matter what. Every morning growing up I recited the Pledge of Allegiance and I thought about what I was saying. It wasn't like the alphabet's LMNOP....which I pronounced "LOMenOPee" and thought was a pet name for a baby elephant...you know, like calling a cat a kitty. But "One Nation"? "Under God"? "Liberty and Justice for All"? I believed it. Okay, I was a little confused about the invisible part but I was a military brat. I figured we had to keep that quiet or the communist (whoever they were) would steal it just like they wanted to steal Vietnam. By the time I finished second grade, and yes I finished in the standard allotted amount of time with decent grades, except for spelling....and I'd figured out we were "Indivisible" and that meant we were undivided. So even though I thought "those damn hippies" wore prettier colors and all at the same time, I had no doubt that red, white and blue were the colors we were all fighting for and if anyone dared come after our country the undivided part would kick in and we'd all kick ass. See, this is how the Vietnam War protests were explained to me. Some folks thought we had stop the Communist wherever they might go, so they could never come here. Other folks thought there were more important things and even though they were wrong, it was good that they stood up and said what they believed. The people calling our house and saying my dad was a baby killer, they were very confused and angry and didn't understand why he had to fight the War and maybe it was a mistake letting them print that he was at the War in the church's Sunday Bulletin. And as I grew up I watched Nixon say the President was above the rules, but that was wrong because we don't have a king, and we had "with Liberty and Justice for All". I watched Carter get defeated by Reagan in what seemed like an impossible situation. And I was aware of some stuff about the Reagan's but who cared if Nancy liked astrology? The first 12 years of my "adulthood" we had Republican Presidents. I didn't agree with them about a lot of stuff but I never doubted they loved this country and that they meant every word of the Pledge. I watched Bill Clinton get elected, and I liked him, partly because his wife was as smart as he was, maybe smarter and he didn't make her shut up. He seem proud of her brains and not to worried about her hair and boobs. And the Republicans hated them. That was the first time I saw my country act like that. That was when I started to understand that whether you were a "D" or an "R" really mattered. The only reason I'd picked a party at all was so I could vote in the primaries. I lived in a state with closed primaries and my name started with D. Before seeing the Republican behavior towards the Clinton's I STILL believed, "One Country, under God, INDIVISIBLE. But the Republicans shook that and shook it hard. Then came George W. And 9/11. At first I was pissed. How could they have let this happen! But being angry would not fix it. Plus, we were Indivisible. George W might not be a genius but he was president and this was War. And when he told the country that Iraq had WMD, I believed him. People bitch about the Senators who voted for the war? It's bullshit because the majority of the country was convinced and we never believed that after the pain and terror of 9/11 that our country would Lie To Us. And we crushed them. Shock and Awe? Absolutely. Someone was going to threaten us with WMD? No. No way. Never Again. And then things started to bother me. No WMD. No Iraq plan. Afghanistan. Osama Bin Ladin. Little at first, but more everyday. Then I started to feel something new. Distrust. Up until then I really believed that people, in the majority, went in to public service because they had money and wanted to give back to the country that had treated them so well. Yeah, naive is a nice word for it. Then some White House mouth said the words, " He's kept us safe." It took a while for the fact that the GW Bush administration was trying to shrug off the blame for 9/11 while using our fear of another attack to keep us to scared to ask questions. You remember the story from here, right? The country, one nation, under God, indivisible, with Liberty and Justice for All was pretty united in their anger at Bush and Cheney. And it got worse. Spies exposed, Scooter taking the fall, the VP's old company getting rich off a war that was a total lie. Still no plan for Iraq and Bin Laden was doing an awesome "Where's Waldo" impersonation, and there was Gitmo and torture and my government could not stop lying. That's when I really started to understand the difference between my country and the government. Then the housing bubble burst. Remember that? On top of the huge shit nest the government had created Wall Street laid a huge, ugly egg that destroyed everyday folks as it cracked. Destroyed everyone but the guys in on the scam. They walked away. Not to imply they weren't inconvenienced. They were embarrassed, well some of them and they had to pay some fines. Fines that seemed huge until you saw their walking away money. And it was time to elect a new president. And we got to choose from an old guy who'd been part of the problem, because problem became a new name for government, or this young guy who'd hadn't been around very long, but had made a few really smart, or lucky?, choices. Oh, yeah...he had a weird name. Barack Hussain Obama. It funny how no "great" "businessman" wanted the job back then. And this new guy won the election with talk that reminded me of the Pledge. He talked about "Yes We Can" when we'd been hearing " Oh no we didn't" for way to long. I remember the night he won the election. I felt proud of my country. I believed that we would be "One Country, Indivisible, Liberty and Justice for All." Yeah, did I mention this new president with the funny name, He's Black. He was also committed to working with the bad guys...oops. I mean the Republicans. See in my simple mind the Republicans had become "the bad guys". But this new President had the country riding high on feeling good as the financial world and two wars crashed around us. Oh, yeah and the Auto industry was going bankrupt. Just on more little thing. But all that crap going on turned out not to be the real problem.

Looking back on predictions of the current syndicate running the USA.
January 28, 2017* During his first term President G.W. Bush imposed a 30% tax on Chinese steel. The next result was an increase on overall steel prices and the loss of more than 200,000 American jobs. In 2009 President Obama imposed a 3 year tax on truck tires from China. While this did save about 1000 jobs in the tire industry the higher prices for consumers lead to a drop in business costing approximately 2500 jobs indirectly related to tire production. Mexico buys hundreds of billions of dollars worth of products from the United States and we sell more stuff to Mexico than to Brazil, India, Japan and Britain combined. Currently over 5 million jobs are directly tied to trade with Mexico. At least some of those jobs will disappear if we start a trade war. The supply chain for American cars is set up so that before a car reaches the consumer many of it's parts have crossed both our southern and northern boarders. We import everything from electronics to produce to oil from Mexico. A 20% tax on those produces mean higher prices at the grocery store and the gas pump. Unfortunately a tax on Mexican good effect more than what we import directly. The price of limes will rise across the board, not just on those from Mexico is just one example. Then there is the fact that Mexico will retaliate and slap a tax on imported American goods. Due to Mexico's growing middle class, the Mexican consumer shops for chicken from Texas, medication from New Jersey and pork from Iowa. They consider products made in the US as being of higher quality and products with the USDA label as fresher and higher quality. That's why they will pay slightly more for products marked "made in America", but how much more? Over 5 million jobs in the US depend on trade from Mexico. Are we really willing to lose those jobs? Lost jobs cause a ripple effect. The steel mill closing in southeastern Pennsylvania didn't have a direct connection to the car dealer in Fairless Hills PA or the local dance teacher, but they both suffered enormous losses due to the fact that out of work steel workers couldn't buy a new car or send their kids to dance class. Then there is the patriotic issue. Right now citizens of both Mexico and the United States buy from one another. What is good for one only strengths the other. Do we really want to start a trade war with our third largest trading partner? Should we destabilize both economies? I don't think so, but you should make up your own mind. *I can't recall how much of this was mine, although I'm sure parts are, and how much was taken from other sources...some of which I'm sure we're. It was meant for me only and I was heartbroken over the inauguration so I skipped listing my sources. To those I may have borrowed from, I apologize and will be happy correct the problems.

I will vote for whichever candidate wins the Democratic Primary. That's a fact because there is no one on the other side that I could ever vote for. Both Hillary and Bernie are more "real" than any of the GOP's offerings. The difference between Hillary and Bernie is found in their life experience. Bernie has been a out loud liberal for as far back as I can research. I'm sure he's encountered difficulty and cruelty because of his views but I'm also fairly sure he's been surrounded by other liberals who support and agree with him. He's been himself his entire life and, for the most part, that has brought him success. And his calls for revolution awaken the revolutionary in me. At my age I'm glad to know she's still in there and I understand why he sparks something in those who are still living at full flame. There reason I'm not sure that Senator Sanders can be the President he says he wants to be is rooted in the Presidency of Barack Obama, and Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton. Everyone of those presidents had great ideas and could have changed our World if we had a different form of government. But we have a Republic that is controlled by the two party system. More simply put, Bernie is telling us what he wants to do. And the gods know, I want those things too. But I know that as long as the Republicans control the Congress, a hoped for President Sanders will be beating his head, and heart, against the GOP brick wall. Even his wins (think The Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare) will be fought tooth and nail. (Think Republican Governors refusing to expand Medicaid, along with 50+ repeals in the House). So, if Senator Sanders is the winning candidate I will be behind him 100%.
But I still believe in Hillary Clinton . Does she seem a little fake or uncomfortable sometimes? Yeah. No doubt about it. But she's also been through a lot getting to this spot in time. I'm pretty sure the young, liberal lawyer who fell for Bill Clinton wasn't the traditional political wife for a southern politician. But, through all the ugliness thrown at her, she HAS stayed true to her core beliefs. And the ugliness never ends. She's been accused of everything from stealing to murder. 40+ years and the GOP hasn't been able to indict her on anything. And history knows they're still trying. But they haven't proven anything because there's nothing there. But after having everything you do attacked for the majority of your life , I'm guessing that makes you careful. That care with word and deed is what come across as plastic or unreal. And yes, she's made mistake. I guess she's is a real person after all. The one thing I'm sure of is that Secretary Clinton knows how the GOP will fight, lie and stall to avoid any of the positive change that we Democrats want. She understands that not only will we have to fight to make change but we need someone who will remain on guard against the Republicans doing their level best to drag us backwards. Hillary is tested. She's earned the respect of her party and of the World's leaders. Among which is President Obama. But what I like best about Hillary Clinton is that when President Obama ask her to be Sec. Of State, she said yes and then did the job with her entire body, heart and soul. Because she wants the United States of America to be successful. She's been willing to serve no matter what has been ask of her and I believe she can be a truly great president.
This turned into a bit of a rant but I hope you'll consider every word and if you hear Senator Sanders and it stirs you then vote your heart. But please, Senator Sanders doesn't "boo" Hillary Clinton, please don't boo her either. If you don't fall in love when she dances on "Ellen" that's fine but respect the service she's given our country. And, finally, when Election Day comes and your busy with your life, make voting a priority and vote for the Democratic Candidate for President of the United States. And, I'm pretty sure that both Senator Bernie Sabers and Secretary Hillary Clinton will agree with that, no matter who wins
I think the difference between Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton connecting with “the youth” is that Bernie actually has a full understanding of what this and next generations want, whereas Clinton thinks the way to get young voters is via pop culture references.
What Hillary doesn’t understand is that “the youth” can recognize and reject any cases of False Coolness and therefore her tactics are flawed and doomed to fail.
