        reminder  that  holden  did,  in  fact,  try  to  kill  dr.  alexander  once  by  throwing  him  off  the  roof  of  an  apartment  complex;  but  his  conscience  stopped  the  man  from  hitting  the  ground  with  his  telekinesis  at  the  last  second.

        holden’s  relationship  with  dr.  alexander  is  very  love / hate.        holden  does  acknowledge  that  the  man  IS  his  creator  and,  in  a  sense,  his  father;  but  he  refuses  to  listen  to  a  word  dr.  alexander  says.       most  of  the  time  he  cannot  stand  what  the  man  did  to  him  in  a  quest  for  money  from  the  government  to  keep  his  lab  open,  but  there  are  times  when  holden  needs  comforted  by  him.        it’s  toxic  and  awful,  since  both  of  them  are  out  to  destroy  the  other,  but  there  is  a  sense  of  “i  love  you,  you  are  my  father / son”  there.

        someone  please  make  a  dr.  alexander,  i  want  holden  to  have  someone  to  scream  at  that  he  knows.

        holden’s  powers  are  very  much  controlled  by  his  emotions.        if  one  of  them  spikes,  he  can  send  out  a  shockwave,  massive  sparks  or  even  cause  a  blackout.        because  he  can’t  control  his  emotions,  due  to  not  knowing  how  to  program  them  properly,  his  powers  are  entirely  uncontrollable  as  well.        this  makes  him  tend  to  not  form  relationships  (  aside  from  the  fact  that  he  can’t  stand  humans ),  because  he  knows  he  could  end  up  causing  the  death  of  someone  he  cares  about.

        i  love  the  fact  that  holden  purposely  made  himself  look  like  a  vulnerable  young  adult  that’s  just  this  lost  puppy  dog  bc  it  gets  people  to  ask  him  if  he  needs  help  and  he  ABSOLUTELY  DESTROYS  THEM.

You have met the wrong people, you have seen so much hurt and so much contempt but i know …that you know..that this is wrong..You just want everyone else to hurt as much as you are.” She added , reaching her hand out to him. “You don’t have to prove them right in thinking you’re a monster….”

     ❝ but  you  see,  i  AM  a  monster,  i  don’t  have  to  prove  it  anymore. ❞        he  took  her  hand,  no  longer  worried  about  involuntarily  shocking  her.        it  felt  good  to  have  a  new  body,  especially  one  that  didn’t  hurt  anyone  who  came  near  him.        she  did  have  a  point,  though.        holden  was  just  trying  to  make  everyone  hurt  like  he  had.      ❝ if  it’ll  make  you  feel  any  better,  i’ll  stop  controlling  people’s  things. ❞

     ❝ why  does  it  matter  if  what  i’m  doing  is  wrong,  dawn?        besides  you  and  dr.  laurel,  no  human  has  ever  shown  me  anything  but  CONTEMPT. ❞         he  knows  it’s  wrong,  but  will  that  stop  him?        no,  it  never  has.        he’s  always  felt  this  way,  don’t  you  dare  try  to  keep  him  from  doing  what  he  wants.
