ive rewritten this post a thousand times and im probably still failing to get my words in the best order, but i really just want to say something at this point.

i kind of fucking hate the "i wish he was straight" jokes. writing this, i'm thinking particularly about tr!Lukey, but it applies to similar in other scenarios as well.

specifically, im talking about when someone says something unnecessarily sexual or "freaky" or whatever and people's responses are to say things like "ugh, im gonna become homophobic", or when lukey was announced for house heir to say "oh i hope hh!Lukey is straight". and YES they're jokes, sure, but a lot of the implication there is that the gayness is the cause of or is equivalent to the unwanted comments, and not simply the fact none of these motherfuckers have a filter. im not saying that complaining about these comments is a problem, but implying that being straight would be the solution IS

because you gotta take a step back and ask yourself WHY the implication here is that being gay is the problem, and not the fact that they just need to get a room. why is the "freaky shit" associated with queerness and inversely, straightness associated with "normal"? why is that? what is that saying?

obviously i dont think any of the people making these jokes are homophobic in any measure- we live in a heteronormative society and there are implicit biases that we unconsciously internalize. but its our job to unlearn those things

poafa pretty regularly listens to musicals during grind streams and has a habit of pointing out lyrics that he thinks sounds like something zam would say. and only zam btw like he doesnt do that for anyone else. so i said

i literally came into poafa's stream to lurk for a bit and saw him digging through commands and i was like... surely he doesnt find something he isn't meant to.... right... ? left stream for a bit and then i saw ur updates T_T

while fucking around, he found a command called /lifetime that shows you the spawn and death dates of mobs in your area.

it also shows you. where those mobs are. he did it with villagers and to his horror, got an answer. just to make sure it was what he thought it was he went and looked and found. um. princezam's base. he doesnt KNOW its zam's, but it is in fact zam's. and he highkey freaked the fuck out

he immediately reported it to minutetech and the command has been removed, and poafa has sworn to never think about the past 30 minutes ever again LMFAO
