Gency Big Bang Author Sign-ups: One week left

Don’t forget to sign up if you’d like to participate in our server’s low-pressure, high-fun Gency Big Bang! The details and link to sign-up are here.

Author signups for the Gency Big Bang are now open! They will be open until May 15th. For the rest of the event schedule, click here.

For this low-pressure Big Bang, the minimum word count is 5,000 words. Fics may be a one-shot or multi-chaptered as long as the final word count is at least 5,000 words. There is no theme besides Gency--as long as your story focuses on the Genji/Mercy pairing, you’re golden!

Please note that joining the Doves & Sparrows Discord is required for this event. There are channels specific to the Big Bang for announcements and discussion, and further instructions on submitting drafts and outlines will be posted there as well. Click here to join the server!

Gency Big Bang Schedule

Thanks to everyone who filled out our survey in February--your input was very valuable! We’ve worked out a schedule for the event:

May 1 to May 15: Writer sign-ups

May 30: Initial fic synopsis/outline due (A second, updated draft may be submitted by June 25)

July 1 to July 15: Artist sign-ups

June 15, July 15: Writer check-ins

August 1: Artist check-ins

July 23, August 15: Team check-ins

August 31: Final due date

September 1: Posting works begins

Joining the Doves & Sparrows Discord server will be mandatory for timely updates and community interaction, as well as an open floor for questions.
