this is an au where tobirama is 6'5 and a wall of muscle and has his face tattoos and a permanent grim expression. and izuna is 5'7 and waifish and constantly scouted by talent agents for his beautiful delicate features.

so please imagine twink izuna cornering a towering-over-him tobirama in a grimy alleyway and offering to kill a guy for him.

tobiizu au in which tobirama is an idol (the gap moe effect actually works rather well for him) and izuna is his biggest fan. at every show, buying all the merch, cheering the loudest in the crowd. he really loves tobira-kun!

Eventually he notices that his beloved tobira-kun is looking pretty worn down...is the stress of idol life getting to him? so he does something totally normal and not at all invasive- he uses his exacting knowledge of tobirama's routine to find a moment when tobirama's alone and corner him to ask if he's okay.

tobirama admits the truth: he's not doing okay. now that he's starting to get more popular, his former manager from when he started his career is blackmailing him. Izuna-kun, as his biggest fan, won't you save him?

well. of course he will. and he promises not to look at the blackmail material, even. not that he cares if tobirama did anything bad- who cares? it's tobira-kun! but, you know, to respect his beloved idol's privacy.

He intends to make the manager's death look like an accident. he breaks into his apartment and digs around to find the blackmail material to delete, but ah, despite his promise, he really can't help but look...

the blackmail material is photos of tobira-kun, after all!

Very...racy photos of tobira-kun. apparently his idol had a relationship with the manager, or at least an agreement in place. perhaps it's how he got his career started, it's not like he's an easy sell to the idol industry. looking at the photos, it's clear tobirama could've had a career as that sort of model as well if he'd wanted. it's the gap moe again- no expression at all in such humiliating poses! really, the cutest thing on earth, izuna has great taste.

Looking at the photos- knowing such photos are being put to such terrible use as to blackmail tobirama, instead of treasured like they should be, makes izuna so angry he ends up strangling the manager instead of his little accident plan.

Well, tobirama has an alibi for the night, so it's okay. Izuna makes it look like a robbery gone wrong, destroys all the evidence of the blackmail- except the photos. he takes the photos with him.

He puts them up in his apartment with all his other photocards. it's sort of like a rare pull, isn't it?

tobirama had expected izuna (His most devoted, and seemingly wealthy, fan) to pay off the ex-manager for him. Instead he sees on the news that his ex-manager is dead- and died the same night that izuna missed tobirama's performance for the first time ever.

his regard for izuna ticks up. perhaps the man isn't so pathetic as he first appeared...maybe he's a little cute, even.

tobirama is well-hung in a decorative way because he's certainly not using that thing. izuna is small and unashamed because it's never failed him when & where it matters.

lesbian tobiizu in which izuna is a gyaru and really intense about the aesthetic. shes out shopping and bumps face-first into Tobirama's front, which, given their height difference and the amount of makeup izuna has on, results in:

a massive stain on tobirama's chest, essentially the full imprint of izuna's face

most of izuna's makeup getting fucked up

tobirama is pissed and demands izuna cover the cost of washing her clothes. izuna is pissed and demands tobirama compensate her for the wasted makeup.

somehow this results in tobirama reapplying izuna's makeup for her (gay) and izuna washing tobirama's shirt for her in the sink of a nearby public restroom while a shirtless tobirama judgmentally waits (very gay).

unsurprisingly this results in sex. (extremely gay)

You should get an AO3 account

With the rise of AI and the well known epidemic of AI companies scraping Ao3 for training data most authors on Ao3 have locked down their fics to logged in users only. This is unfortunate for authors and readers. As an author I've noticed a steep drop in readership on fics restricted to logged in users and when recommending fics to my friends I've noticed that the folks without an account can't find the fics. The logged in users only toggle, not only keeps people without an account from reading a fic, but also from seeing its listing at all. More than 50% of fics I come across have this setting turned on. So, you should get an AO3 account. I know this seems daunting and unfair because it's an invite only system but, you can invite yourself through the homepage if you don't already have one, and in the past few years I've never heard of someone who requested an invitation through this method, not getting one. And for those of you who are hesitant because you don't write, that's okay. It's not weird at all to click on a commenter username and find that they have 0 works and 10,000 bookmarks. It might take a week for the invitation to actually show up, but I can almost guarantee you will get one, just keep an eye on your email. It's free to join and donations are optional. You'll have more to read if you have an account and maybe give your favorite author the chance to protect their work from AI without a loss of readership and feedback.

as his estimation of tobirama As A Spouse rises, his suspicions grows more intense. obviously the Senju could've gotten something very good in exchange for marrying off tobirama. it's not just a tactical and political advantage; it's an ideal spouse on offer for daily life. For such a frank disparity between Tobirama's percieved value and his actual arrangment, the Senju must be trying to hide something really terrible. He really wants to know what they could possibly be trying to hide, given how well known the rest of Tobirama's bad qualities already are.

Sometimes, while hiding in trees to secretly observe his rival having little courting dates, Izuna considers that the best match for Tobirama (speaking only in equitable values, like the rational person he is) would be himself.

They're about the same standing as shinobi, equally strong politically, their clans are matched in most regards, and Izuna considers himself a perfect spouse of course. A talent for poetry and a deft ability to handle any social situation, not to mention his vast intellect and his beautiful form. A little out of Tobirama's league, yes, but only a smidge. The man would be marrying in to the Uchiha, which would balance out any of those issues.

This thought process ultimately always turns into him plotting Tobirama's imminent demise all the more intensely. Izuna chalks his feverish passion for Tobirama's death up to the impending nuptials that would tank his ego and ignores all signs otherwise.

au where the senju are big believers in multiple wives as a matter of practicality. the more wives a guy can have, the more kids he can have; the more connections he can secure; and the more skillsets he can have at his disposal. The uchiha, meanwhile, are monogamous even after one spouse dies. You get married once. that's it. you made a lifelong promise that interwove your very souls and the idea of remarrying, much less *multiple spouses*, is the most horrific thing they've ever heard.
