Caregiver!Luis Serra / Regressor!User headcanons

Since there's a lack of agere content with my don quixote I decided to take matters by myself! He's become my cg figure since the end of 2023, so it's obvious I would eventually write him hcs! Anyway, enjoy it!

Luis has a big sense of responsibility on his own, so even if he lets his playful side show up, he would keep you close and shelter his little one away from danger.

Loves playing doctor and being your patient! 🚑

Luis is not a big fan of setting rules (he thinks it's unfair to ground you), but he would gladly set a few if you insist, like bedtime, water/hygiene reminders, screen control, etc.

Really patient with tantrums. Luis would never get mad at you for feeling fuzzy or being stubborn. Instead he tries to light up the mood with jokes and tickles on your sides.

"Why, I thought you were sad?!" He jokes while you giggle under his touch.

When you're feeling too little, he'd ask to lift you in his arms. He loves it, and so do you. Luis likes dancing around while having you in his arms, singing his favorite tunes he used to hear as a child. 🎼

He tries being the-though-dad, keeping everything under control but... who in the world can resist your cute little pout and glowing eyes?

He would never admit that but Luis loves when you're grumpy.

When you say no he says yes. That's how it goes. No matter how much you try to fight it, when it's nini time you're going to bed, whether you like it or not! 🛏️

"Nu-uh!" "Ah sí!"

Luis' heart melts when you call you "Papá". He feels proud and happy.

He knows you have a hard time eating by yourself. Even when you can't say it, he'll help you and spoon feed you. "Come here, Papá got you." 🥄

He sets up a babysitter cam in your room to hear if you need help.

No matter how long it takes, Luis will do everything in his power to calm you down from a nightmare. He understands you need to feel safe in order to sleep, and he's there for you.

Hush his baby in his arms, running circles on your back, kissing your head. Luis bounces you in his arms and rocks you to sleep.

"Shh, shhh... Mi amor, mi bebé. Yo te amo tanto. There's no need to cry."

Luis' voice is so smooth, so soothing. You fall asleep in his arms in seconds. And he holds you for a little longer, just to watch your relaxed and serene slumber with a soft smile.

"Dulces sueños mi angelito."

gassssp you do RDR2 stuff?? Do you think you could do some headcanons with a regressor arthur (preferably a very young age range, 0-3 maybe) and cgs dutch and hosea please? Downright criminal the lack of rdr2 agere in general but especially of arthur as a regressor!! he has two papas right there!! tysm!!

you are so right about the lack of little arthur stuff!! let him not have to work so hard and just get taken care of by hosea and dutch!

small arthur (0-3) hcs;

loves baths

one of his favorite things when he's so small are baths!

he finds them so comforting, just being able to get clean and play with a toy or two while dutch or hosea washes his hair for him. plus, it's so much easier for him to fall asleep afterwards!

doesn't have many toys

he's very self conscious about regressing at first, so the thought of toys didn't do very much besides embarrass him initially.

it took some time (and hosea and dutch reassuring him that it was alright) before he even opened up to the idea of it. but once he did, dutch and hosea got him a couple small toys.

maybe a few little wooden figures or a small stuffed animal! dutch always wants to get him something new whenever they're in town, but arthur usually grumbles about it and insists that he doesn't need it.

isn't very energetic when small

when he's feeling this small, instead of running around all over camp, causing chaos, or being a rascal, arthur likes to do the complete opposite.

he much prefers laying around in the grass, by the edge of the water (if the camp is set up near some), or in his own (or dutch's) tent. he enjoys picking flowers, stacking rocks, staring up at the clouds, and really anything that doesn't involve too much moving around. and of course he loves to do it with dutch and hosea!

sometimes he even gets to sit down by the chickens and hang out with them for a bit, feeding them and petting their heads if they let him!

loves to listen to dutch and hosea's stories

whether it's time to go to bed or just time to take a nap, one of arthur's favorite things to do is listen to a story by one of his caregivers.

there are some that he asks that they tell again (funny things that had happened in the past, which hosea is usually better at recounting), and sometimes he just wants them to make one up!

dutch seems to be the better one at coming up with stories. he's made up soo many bedtime stories for arthur, arthur is amazed he hasn't run out yet!

- his cgs are Harry and Merlin! He calls them his uncles!

- absolutely loves when Harry reads stories to him before bed, they snuggle up with some soft lighting and a good book and five minutes he is out like a light!

- he gets absolutely spoiled by Tilde because her special little man deserves it

- mostly non verbal!

- regresses to cope with stress and the traumas of going on missions (seeing harry get pew pew’d, what happened while he was having dinner with Tilde’s family)

i rewatched the movie and thought I'd make a moodboard for him :)

headcanon i have:

he was somehow able to get ahold of one of his daughter's stuffed animals, and has held onto it ever since. maybe he managed to get back home at some point, or maybe she had even sent him off with it, either way he's kept it in the best condition he possibly could.

he's done the best job he could of making sure dracula hadn't seen it through the years. no doubt he'd only open himself up to additional ridicule and belittling if he had seen it.

so renfield had kept it packed away, in one of his few bags he was able to have whenever they needed to move. he's made sure he always had it.

i imagine taking it out and hugging it was one of the first things he did when he got away from dracula.
