The "do work son challenge" is a challenge to do one assignment or piece of homework or side project everyday. I am a game development student at UOIT and I will be posting one a piece of work everyday or after two days post two to make up for one if I REALLY can't fit something in for a day. I encourage any and everyone to take up this challenge with me. Whether you be in university, high school or college or if its just a side project you do after work. Work more, learn more, know more.

Today, I animated a simple sprite I made last year, a skeleton. Using C++ and a base sprite library, I coded the sprite to continuously animate and also ping-pong animate (go to end and then back).

November 19, 2013 - Main menu and level

Today, I made a main menu for the game my group members and I are working on at UOIT. I also made a level for our game and obstacles that LERP (linear interpolate) to the bottom of the screen and attempt to hit the main character. This is a top down shooter so the rocks will aim to hit the main ship. I am the lead 2D artist for our group.

Daniel Cook makes a skill chain diagram for the game Tetris (my personal favorite, I'm level 102 in Tetris battle on Facebook!)
