Doing my do diligence sectioning off chunks of my massive wip document into things I can work on from my phone since I may be without wifi for an entire week.

This one was so satisfying to finish I genuinely don’t have words
#Srbing this one one last time for now#learned from my past mistakes on this one: drew the sketch on the stamp in mirror to the original approved sketch#did not really help one iota with the initial print shock because I got used to the reversed linoleum copy#Though I’m happier with the print now in the end#The composition too turned out so good though admittedly#drawing Enoch is basically always a cheat sheet for a good composition because all of his ribbons lead the eye#But I put some other thought into it too#I am a little disappointed in the tangenting lines here and there. There weren’t any in my sketches but the reality is that my hands arent#As steady as I’d like#Overall though it looks so good. I love hanging beastnoch prints on my wall#It feels so elevated#Like I went to a con and got a print of my OTP made by a wonderful artist#There’s a disconnect in my brain between the prints and all of the many sketches I’ve made over the years for some reason

That the beasts cape are kinda like moth wings :)
So he can't fly or anything, they're just fluffy blankets he can wave around. Maybe he just uses them to make his silhouette look more ominous, letting them be limp like a cape. idk.

I don’t have a lot of them, granted, because I made the decision pretty early on to keep Star Crossed in Enoch’s head, but occasionally I consult my notes about Herod’s pov and make myself giddy thinking of what it could have been from the other angle

*cracking my neck* welp, it's time to reread your story about Beast the Astronaut and Enoch the Cosmic World Eater! (I still want it to be a miniseries; I would watch the hell out of it!)
I’m glad there’s enough of it to enjoy, though it still galls me to compare my excruciating memories of writing and editing that whole story to the reality.
There are definatley some elements to it that would make for a fine Twilight Zone story, I could definitely see it being entertaining to watch.
#I really don’t dream of Otgw in any sense#But I do dream of writing and having written#Generally it’s less egregious than that particular instance given how medicated I was at the time#Though it does still happen from time to time
