Yes, I know, before all you OG Dragon Adventures fans come at me, this is the new theme. Unfortunately, I started playing the game right after they changed the bgm, so I have no attachment to the old one. I think it still sounds nice though! As much as I understand the appeal of the older one, it can't replicate the feel of me logging in everyday for that sweet, sweet login bonus...

Egg Hunt 2018: The Great Yolktales… it coincided with maybe the most complex Roblox event ever. A lot of people hated it, but thats because they didn’t get it! The Ready Player One event was so memorable that a game in The Hunt actually referenced it.

RPO was about an owner of a popular game who died and wanted to choose a successor. It featured a bunch of people searching for an Easter Egg that would grant them ownership of the game. Gunters. Egg Hunters. Roblox decided to do their own spin on it. Whoever would find the three keys and find the last gate would get this one of a kind dominus!

There were so many people trying to find which games the keys were in and then jumping through hoops for them. (Ironically, the event was more exciting than the movie.) They hid the gate in the egg hunt event. The joke isn’t lost on me. Players had to do things like drive a car into the side of a house at a certain speed or change their avatar. It was wild. The final area was accessed through clicking letters on a sign to spell out GUNTER, shown here https://youtu.be/2voTyJQMFGk

I don’t know about you, but this was the hypest thing in roblox. After this event roblox did one more proper egg hunt event (that isn’t just portals to other games) and then quit it in favor of sponsorships. The Hunt was the best thing in over half a decade. This was its predecessor.

Anyway, this soundtrack is from the area where the GUNTER sign was located. If you have an account that completed the RPO event back then, the sign taking you to the final area still works. To this day, about two dozen people play this egg hunt game :)

Before the Dawn Redux was arguably the best horror game on Roblox for a long time. It had so many killers and sooo many emotes. I had a tester badge and all the perks that came with it too. Unfortunately it was taken down because the creators wanted to work on its sequel, Before the Dawn III. It flopped because its rounds were too long. Then they made a game called Survive the Night. That one eventually shut down after a few months because nothing could live up to Before the Dawn Redux…
