Hi there! My name is Bubbles. I am a two year old corgi and my momma is Abigail. I love baths, stealing bubbles, and whoever my momma happens to be living with. Created: May 30, 2014

Bubbles growled a little when the man picked her up. She had been looking for a warm place to sleep, while the lady who brought her in said she was getting her something to eat. There was no warm bath, so Bubbles settled for the clothes she could pull off the bed and into the floor.
But as soon as the man held her close, Bubbles relaxed. She snuggled closer, whining a little. As much as she loved the attention, she wanted somewhere warm to sleep or maybe something to eat.
"-steals your sweaters and uses them as a new bed-"

"Did Amy bring you home?" He walked over to the pile of jumpers and picked the dog up, holding her up before actually properly holding her like she was an infant. "You can’t make a bed out of me jumpers, pup.”

Bubbles was so excited when she saw Rick coming back to her. Maybe she could convince him to go swimming after all. Her paws tapped against the hardwood as she moved back and forth. They were going to go outside. All she needed was for Rick to open the door.
She barked happily before scratching at the door. Bubbles turned her head to the side as he asked her a question. She didn't know what he wanted, but she knew they needed to outside to go swimming.
Bubbles started barking and pushing against the door, hoping that would make Rick open it.
He chuckled a little at the gesture of gratefulness that Bubbles gave him before he put the bag back, making to go back into the living room but then she started barking and going for the back door.
He knew what that meant.
Sighing a little he mussed his hair and dragged himself on over to where Bubbles was. “come on, girl, let’s go watch TV. Don’t y’wanna do that?”

Bubbles was so excited when Jared picked her up. She thought for sure they were heading towards the bathroom to get into the tub. She cried softly when Jared dropped her on the bed. This wasn't where she wanted to be at all. But she appreciated Jared brought her with him. At least she would get some attention.
Nap. She knew that word. Bubbles snuggled into his side, careful to make sure she was perfectly within his reach, in case he wanted to pet her. She was about to stay still and wait for sleep when she felt an itch between her shoulders.
Bubbles inched forward slowly, nudging his hand, sliding her nose underneath it. Bubbles whined softly, hoping he would run his hand down her back a few times before falling asleep.

Bubbles was so excited when Rick picked up the treat bag. He was really going to give her one. She knew she could convince Rick to give her what she wanted. She took the treat from him with a satisfying crunch. Yes, her favorite.
She leaned forward and licked his fingers. Bubbles loved her treats and she loved Rick for giving them to her. Now what else could she get out of him? Bubbles jumped up, barking a couple times before running for the back door. She wanted to go swimming. She hoped Rick did too.

Following after her he let out a small laugh as he watched her by the fridge, barking up at what he knew she saw. Those treats that Abigail had bought for Bubbles. He knew that she only ever gave her one a day but another couldn’t hurt- he was sure.
"Alright, calm down, girl." He softly told her, walking towards the fridge and giving her a small pat on her head when he got to it.
He even looked over his shoulder to see if Abigail had come in. Would she get upset? He doubted it. Taking the bag down he knelt down and took one out.
"This what y’want?’ He asked, smile holding on his lips as he waited for Bubbles to take it.

Bubbles felt better when he picked her up. He was warm and he blocked the cold chill of the night air. When she realized he was taking her somewhere, she hoped it was somewhere indoors--- with a bathtub.
When her paws touched the floor, she took off. It looked like a normal house. Smelled like one too. He had to have a bathtub. Bubbles looked around, seeing a couch and a place for food. Finally, she saw another door. She pushed the door open with her nose and barked excitedly when she saw the bathtub.
This was all she needed. Well, almost. Now she needed a bottle of bubbles. She immediately started digging and scratching at the cabinet door, hoping there was some bubbles hidden behind there.
Come Back || Bucky/Bubbles
The other man had taken off down the street but Bucky hadn’t noticed. He didn’t even glance back because he just didn’t care. Something different was gleaming in the dog’s eyes that caught his attention. Bucky watched as the dog nuzzled him but he wasn’t sure if he should smile or not. Instead, he reached down to take it in his arms. A girl, he knew. And he wondered what her name was. There was no fight or resistance. He decided hed take her because why not? No one was around to claim her. He cradled the small dog in his arms then walked down the street, opposite from the man. He made sure no one was around to see him as if he was rushing out of a store after stealing something. Hydra wouldn’t care if he had a dog just as long as he completed his missions. He made it to his apartment and, once inside, he set the dog down then waited on her to see what she’d do, if she’d take to her surroundings. “What’s your name?” He asked aloud as if the dog could answer. “Should I name you, myself?”

Bubbles didn't know what Jared was talking about, but she relaxed when his arm came around her. She settled against his stomach, loving how warm he was. No blanket needed here. Bubbles sighed heavily as she laid on him. Yes, this would make anyone feel better. A bath would work just as well.
She stretched out against him, breathing deeply. A bath really did sound nice. But she wasn't sure she could get Jared to go to the bathroom and turn the water on.
Bubbles leaned forward and pressed her nose against his hand. She licked his hand a couple of times to get his attention without barking. Maybe Jared would be happier if she didn't bark. Then they could go take a bath.

Bubbles' bark softened into a small whine when she realized something was wrong with Jared. She didn't know what was bothering him, but she wanted it to go away. Bubbles jumped up next to him and gently nudged him with her head.
Cuddling almost made her feel good. Cuddling would make Jared feel good too. She whined again, looking up at him. Then she sat down next to him and waited for his arm to go around her.

Bubbles was trying to find her way back home when she saw something she had never seen before. She knew he was a man, but he was different than anyone she'd ever met before. He looked like he was hurting that other man, who she didn't really care about. She just didn't like anyone getting hurt.
She barked softly, getting his attention. Bubbles was excited that he was actually listening to her. She went to meet him, standing as close to him as she could.
Bubbles pushed against his leg. He was warm. She liked that. She barked again, hoping they could go somewhere away from the road, maybe somewhere with a bed or a bath.
Come Back || Bucky/Bubbles
There was the man in his grasp, holding onto him by the neck with his metal hand. He had him so close to death he could feel it. But something had caught his attention. A scurry of feet across the road, approaching him then barking. But it was a soft bark as if to tell him that he didn’t need to do this, that he could walk away and everything would be okay. He looked back to the man who was fighting for air. He looked to the dog on the road. With a slow trepidation, he set the man down, releasing him from the clutches of his metal arm. The man was shaking and afraid but stood there while Bucky went to the dog. He wasn’t sure if he should be angry or confused. He wondered what intentions the dog had. "What is it?" He asked out of a long withheld curiosity. "What do you want?"

Rick was sitting up. Rick was sitting up. RICK WAS SITTING UP. Bubbles was trembling with excitement as she realized Rick was going to do something with her. They could do anything-- go anywhere. She barked a couple of times and pushed against his hand.
They could go outside. They could play inside. They could take a bath. She could go swimming! Bubbles couldn't decide what she wanted most. Everything sounded so good!
She was actually kind of hungry. Bubbles wondered if she could get Rick to give her some of the special treats her momma kept on top of the fridge. Her momma only ever gave her one a day, but maybe Rick would give one or four.
Bubbles barked again, before jumping down off the couch. She ran to the kitchen, her pudgy paws tapping against the tile. Bubbles whined as she stood in front of the fridge. Why wasn't she tall enough to reach them herself? Even her favorite tiny human, Judy, wasn't tall enough to reach her special treats. If Judy was then Bubbles would probably get a whole bag everyday.
He was altogether surprised when she got up on him, a small laugh came from him as his hand found her and started up a small petting. “You’re an insistent one.” he stated absentmindedly, turning his eyes towards the TV again.
But then she started to try to lick his face and he moved away a little with a small laugh. “Come on, Bubbles, I love you but the game-“
Stopping his words he sighed a little and sat up with Bubbles in his lap. “Alright…what do y’want? I’ll give y’thirty minutes, how’s that?”

Bubbles could tell Will didn't feel well. He didn't used to sleep this much. He used to go outside a lot and he would let Bubbles play with his dogs and make friends. She would get to run, bark, and feel the wind in her fur. She missed that. Jared and Abigail still took her out, of course, but they always looked sad and tired.
She wished Will would get up and play with her, but she could see that wasn't going to happen. Instead, she moved closer and rubbed the side of her face against his hand. This was nice too. Not as nice as playing, but Bubbles was happy with any attention right now.
Will seemed to be going back to sleep so Bubbles whined softly. She wasn't through cuddling. She wondered if Will would pull her closer. Bubbles knew Jared would be so mad to know she was bothering Will, but she wanted company and cuddling always made her feel better. Maybe it would help Will too.
The weight on his chest provided slight discomfort. He actually managed a half asleep thought of wondering if the discomfort in every movement and pressure would ever go away.
Slowly he opened his eyes and saw Abigails dog there. He smiled, a small dazed smile and reached up his hand to lightly stroke the dogs coat. He liked the idea of having Bubbles there. It was a reminder of Abigail, that she was still here.
"Hey…how’d you get in here?" he asked, letting his hand fall limp again and his eyes slid half shut

Bubbles loved going anywhere she could with her momma. Abigail didn't always take her places, but when she did Bubbles had the best time. She always got to see new things and spending time with her momma was always fun. But Bubbles wasn't entirely sure about this new place.
It was a farm, whatever that meant, and there were all kinds of sounds and smells that Bubbles had never experienced before. The last time her momma had brought her here, Bubbles thought she had found a new dog to play with, but he was awfully small and seemed to be always wrapped in a blanket. He didn't smell like a dog, but he sure did act like one.
It took her a little bit, but Bubbles realized that Pavlov was a baby. Bubbles felt like everyone needed a good momma, including baby Pavlov, so she liked spending her time at the farm with him. But now she couldn't find him.
She went up to the guy that was normally carrying Pavlov whenever she wanted him and barked as loud as she could to get his attention. Bubbles wanted her baby and this guy needed to learn to share.

Bubbles was happy that Rick was talking to her, but he didn't say any of the words she wanted to hear. He didn't mention a bath or swimming. Rick also didn't offer to take a nap with her either. Bubbles liked to snuggle with people.
She waited for a moment and when she saw he wasn't going to get up from the couch, she jumped up to him. Bubbles short legs worked their way over the couch as she climbed onto his stomach.
Her paws squished against him as she climbed on top of him. Rick probably wasn't going anywhere. He normally wore his hat when he left the house. She whined a little, wanting to have Rick's full attention. Then she leaned forward to try to lick his face.
He was by himself in the house. A day off to relax, to sink into something else other than work. Right now he’d decided to catch a game, hadn’t been able to really sit down and watch one in a long while. He was comfortable, can of beer in his hand and nothing to disturb-
Brows tensed a little as he looked down to see Bubbles walking underneath his feet and he sighed a little. “Bubbles, come on, they won’t be too long. Can’t y’wait?” He called out as he readjusted himself after the bark came. “Got a lot of things to do today.”
Which wasn’t exactly true but Bubbles was a dog, she didn’t know that.”

Bubbles became excited when she realized someone was still in the house. Her momma and Jared were gone. They had even taken the little one with them. Who was she supposed to play with now. She could hear the tv on in the living room. Bubbles gave a small bark when she entered the room so that Rick would notice her.
He was on the couch. She could see his socks hanging over the edge of the couch. Bubbles purposely walked underneath them, hoping Rick would look down and see her. Bubbles wondered if she could convince Rick to take a bath so she could go swimming. She didn’t think she could, but it was worth a try.
Bubbles barked again and waited for Rick to talk to her.

Bubbles was lonely. Her momma was gone to a place called school. Jared was downstairs, in the room she wasn’t allowed to be in. She wondered if Jared had left the door to Will’s room open so Bubbles could visit him. Bubbles was excited when the door opened as she pushed it with her nose.
She jumped as hard as she could to make it onto the bed. She found Will sleeping. He had been sleeping a lot lately. Jared had been telling her ever since Will came home that he was sick and needed to be left alone. He even smacked her nose when she tried to curl against Will’s stomach to cuddle with him.
This time she went to his chest and laid her head across his arm. Bubbles whined softly, hoping Will would wake up and pet her.

Bubbles gave a few small barks after Jared told her to be quiet. But she didn't know the person walking on the sidewalk. What if that person was dangerous. Bubbles knew her momma was afraid of something. She was tense and scared in her sleep sometimes. Bubbles always wondered who it was her momma was afraid of.
After thinking about her momma, Bubbles wanted her now. Bubbles turned back to face the direction of the house and sat down. She sighed, looking up at Jared. She wanted a bath now. Some bubbles would be nice too.
-climbs on top of you and licks your face-
"Oh Bubbles come on." Jared pulled her off and sat the dog on his lap.
