How does my research link to my work:
- i am for ambiguity to be a large aspect in my work allowing my pieces to create a feeling of the uncanny as well as fear.
- Noonan’s work above has an aerie atmosphere created by an natural body positions and facial expressions. The face is concealed and we are unsure of the face that resides under the manipulation caused by certain artistic techniques. Within my work i will create ambiguous mask that resemble a face, however are not quite right bringing in the idea of the uncanny.
- Like Noonan i will use photography as a large part of my artistic practice.
