Today, I had an weird dream.
Over the past month or so, I've had a couple weird dreams. When they start, I'm like some sort of rich kid, my parents buy expensive things, they wear expensive clothes, and we live in a big house, though I don't usually see the house till the end of the dreams. The early parts aren't usually important, or, I don't think they are? I don't quite remember the first time, but last night, the early part had me living in new york, except it was more like the kind of new york you'd see in a snow globe, it was all cloudy and foggy, and the towers looked weird, and for some reason the Statue of Liberty was in the center of the city, and people would change out what it was holding and wearing throughout the dream, like sometimes it would be regular, then the next it's holding giant dollar bills instead of the torch, and a phone instead of the book. I don't remember too much about the early part, but after a while, my step father bought something on his phone that I remember being rather expensive as we drove across a bridge into the city, people behind us cheered like we'd won some sort of lottery, and then we were home. This is the weird part, and the part that tells me these two dreams are definitely connected. It's pretty normal, except for the weird thing, I don't know what to call it, but I'll call it the thing. There's a weird amount of detail to it. It's almost completely black except for two almost glowing white eyes, it's humanoid, but it's practically falling apart. It leaks fluid wherever it goes and makes this weird sound that sounds like a creepy mix between child's laughter and a horse whinnying. It seems like it doesn't quite know what's happening around it, it just kind of walks around. The first time I had the dream, I remember that the family was almost afraid of it, someone splashed it with holy water, which I don't know where it came from, and it didn't react, it just kind of moped around. This time, my stepfather decided to take two tire irons, cover them in brake fluid (no idea where that came from either) and then smacked the thing on both sides of the neck, this got it to react. The fluid actually collided with it, and the thing cried out and stumbled, and before anything else could happen, I woke up. What on earth is that thing, do these dreams mean anything? This might read like some poor creepypasta, but I've actually had these dreams and I don't really know how to react.

A basic landscape I made, might add a character to it later.
