Cosmetic Dermatology Treatment in vasundhara by Dr. Megha Modi
Post Cosmetic Surgery Care: What you need to know
You would be committing a huge mistake if you’re thinking that a facelift or cosmetic surgery can actually make the quality of your skin better. Yes, if you have been prudent enough to consult an experienced
Skin Specialist in Vasundhara
you will be able to see desirable results – i.e. the surgery will take years off from your face. But, in noway, will it essentially bolster your skin quality.Taking care of your skin after cosmetic surgery
Skin specialists will infallibly suggest that it’s up to you to take care of your skin after your doctor has done his/her job. If you are not taking the following skincare measures post surgery, you will not really be able to make the most of the benefits offered by facelift at the first place. So, let’s learn what exactly you are required doing in this case.
Keep your skin clean and moisturized
Keep your skin clean and moisturized. This remains one of your primary responsibilities after you have undergone a facelift. A reliable Skin Specialist in Vasundhara must ask you to act in accordance. Your skin is likely to remain and feel a little soft post a facelift. The areas near the incisions are especially tender. This might make you think twice before washing your face frequently. The best bet would be to wash it twice a day so as not to apply too much pressure on your face and to keep it clean and moisturized at the same time. Cleaning it properly would mean that you are actually reducing risk of bacterial growth on your skin. Go gentle with your skin.
For the first few weeks after the surgery make sure you are using a gentle moisturizer. Your surgeon might as well recommend an anti bacterial product on the incisions to minimize risk of infection.
Swelling and bruising are only normal after a surgery. Do know for a fact that for the first few days the bruising and swelling may only seem getting worse. You can report the same to the Skin Specialist in Vasundhara – who you have got on board but do not end up doing anything drastic, like going to a medical store and arbitrarily picking up a product to deal with the same.
Dealing with swelling and bruises
There are a few ways with the help of which you can keep swelling at bay. Keep your head elevated after surgery. Even if it does not prevent swelling in its entirety it can actually go on to minimize chances of it getting worse.
Proper Sun Protection
Protecting your skin from the sun, is, once again, a crucial responsibility in this regard. In fact, you should pay attention to pre-facelift sun protection as well. When the incisions on your skin are healing, sun exposure might lead to the darkening of the same. Using sun protection or sun block creams will help you substantially in this regard.
Educate yourself about applying makeup post surgery as well. You might not have the habit of getting out of your home without mascara but your surgeon might as well ask against using the same before a week.

Are you settling for Wart Removal in Indirapuram? Make an Informed decision
Why are you looking for wart removal in Indirapuram? Perhaps because you think that that wart just above your lips or beside your nose is a major source of annoyance both cosmetically and as far as your comfort is concerned. You have decided that it’s time to get rid of this annoyance and there is of course no better way than seeking advice of a dermatologist. However, make sure that you’re educating yourself about warts before stepping into the dermatologist’s clinic.
Don’t Opt for Surgical wart removal in Indirapuram if you are Reeling Under these Myths
You might as well be looking for surgical wart removal in Indirapuram but make sure you are informing yourself about warts in general in order to get rid of the misconceptions that are mostly associated with warts and its removal as well. So, make sure you’re reading on in order to be duly guided in this regard. Do you know that people actually have weird ideas about warts? There are a few of them who even end up thinking that toads are responsible for giving warts and as such it’s best to stay away from them. This particular belief primarily stems from fairytales but let us tell you toads and warts have nothing to do with each other. Now, HPV virus is the main reason behind warts – and it goes without saying that toads are not carriers of this virus.
What are the Prevalent Myths?
Another major misconception about warts is that it is cancerous. Once again, it’s a mere myth. The earlier you get rid of this myth the better. Talk to a credentialed dermatologist to know the truth. Any qualified dermatologist will make it a point to weed out all doubts regarding warts with the help of sound scientific explanation. It is however true that HPV virus can be transmitted sexually. There are however more than 100 types of HPS virus detected so far.
What should the dermatologist tell you?
When you are opting for wart removal in Indirapuram it’s the responsibility of the dermatologist to inform you that there are chances of your warts coming back. Yes, though most of us (almost all of us) believe that warts are gone forever after being removed once, the truth is quite different. In fact, it might as well be maintained that it is nothing but half truth. There are a few warts that once removed will never come back. But there also are other types of warts that may stage a comeback even after it has been removed once. The best bet would be to talk to the doctor once the wart is treated. He or she can advise you regarding measures that can be adopted to prevent the warts from bouncing back.
If you are currently undergoing the process of wart removal in Indirapuram then your dermatologist must tell you that they are contagious – though many believe that they are not. However, while undergoing treatment make sure you are disposing tissues, bandages and other items carefully because HIP virus needs the minutest opening to invade your body.

Dr. Megha Modi Provides Hair Treatment in Vasundhara
                            Platelet-Rich Plasma Therapy
This involves drawing out one’s own blood and centrifuging it so that the plasma with platelets collects in the tube. This plasma rich in platelets and growth factors is very useful in tissue regeneration and healing. It is then injected on the scalp or rubbed on the scalp after performing a dermaroller treatment in the areas which suffer from hair loss.
What can I expect from the treatment?
You can expect new hair growth along your existing hair line and improved density, health and texture of your pr-existing hair.
Who is a better candidate for this therapy – Man or woman?
It is equally effective in both men and women and works best in patients with diffuse thinning and miniaturized hair.
Can PRP Therapy be combined with hair transplant?
Yes, it can be combined with hair transplant – pre-operatively, intra-operatively, or post-operatively. It not only helps in healthier and faster growth of transplanted hair, but also stimulates the existing thinning hair at the same time.
Is the treatment painful?
The pain is subjective and patient specific. Some people perceive it like hot massage and some find it unbearable. For sensitive individuals we suggest numbing gel or topical anaesthesia one hour prior to procedure which reduces the pain sensation considerably. Alternately nerve blocks can be given for better pain control.
Any side-effects?
PRP therapy is safe and natural because the procedure concentrates the cells from your own blood directly back into the area where it is needed. Hence is not rejected by your immune system and there are absolutely no chance of getting any infection, allergy or hypersensitivity.
However one can get mild redness, bruising or headache which responds well to routine analgesics.
How long does the treatment take?
PRP therapy is a lunch time procedure and it takes around half an hour for the procedure and you can go back to your work place immediately after the procedure.
Can I wash my hair after the treatment, and after how much time?
You can wash your hair after 12 hours with your routine shampoo.
How many treatment sessions will I need?
PRP therapy can be repeated every 1-2 months and usually 3-4 sittings are sufficient, though some patients may require maintenance therapy once a year or more frequently depending upon the severity of hair loss. The visible results in form of new hair growth can be seen after 3-4 months of treatment and further improvement is noticed in the subsequent months.
Any precautions?
The usual precaution is not to touch the scalp and no head-bath for 12 hours after the procedure.
Can other medical therapies be continued concurrently?
Absolutely, it can be used in conjunction with other topical and oral medications. In fact, we encourage it and prescribe PRP therapy as a compliment to a non-surgical approach for those patients who are not eligible for surgery or who want to delay hair restoration surgery. We recommend PRP therapy along with Minoxidil and DHT blockers or for those patients who can’t tolerate or have side effects with these medications.

Fractional Laser Resurfacing Treatment Done by Dr. Megha Modi
                                     Fractional Laser Resurfacing
What is fractional resurfacing?
Fractional resurfacing is an advanced technology in which only a small fraction of the skin receives the laser light. The laser delivers a series of high precision microbeams that create narrow, deep columns of tissue penetration well below the epidermis (skin surface) and into the dermis, while preserving the surrounding healthy tissue from damage. This “fractional” treatment allows the skin to heal much faster than if the entire area were treated at once, using the body’s natural healing process to create new, healthy skin cells.
What conditions does fractional resurfacing treat?
Fractional resurfacing is very effective on fine lines and wrinkles (including around the eyes), age or sun spots, acne scars, surgical scars and sun damage.
What is the recovery time?
The healthy cells in unlasered areas promote rapid healing of the entire treatment area, resulting in faster recovery time and minimal side effects. The result is softer, smoother and healthier skin without a prolonged healing period.

Tattoo Removal In Vasundhara | Tattoo Removal In Indirapuram | Tattoo Removal In Vaishali - Twachaaclinic
Q-Switch for Tattoo/ Nevus Removal
Extremely short pulse, Q-switched (QS) laser systems can successfully lighten or eradicate a variety of pigmented lesions. Pigmented lesions that are treatable include freckles and birthmarks including some congenital melanocytic naevi, naevi of Ota/Ito and Becker naevi. The QS laser systems can also selectively destroy tattoo pigment without causing much damage to the surrounding skin. The altered pigment is then removed from the skin by scavenging white blood cell.
How will my skin react to the treatment?
During treatment the tattoo will appear to have a white surface layer which is the first initial sign that the process is working. This is caused by the breaking down of pigment and the reaction to the laser, this colouring will subside within a couple of hours. Immediately after treatment the surrounding skin is likely to show a red discoloration and a small amount of pinpoint bleeding may occur. The feeling can be compared to a mild sunburn where swelling and redness may last for one week. Over the next few days a small amount of blistering may occur followed by a scab or thin crust, which should be left untouched to eventually fall off. The skin will remain red for a few days to a week or two and begin to heal on its own.
All of these reactions are a normal response to the removal process and the way in which the body begins to heal.
How many treatments will I need?
Generally the average required number of treatments varies from 3-8 depending on various indications. Dr. Megha Modi will guide you according to your skin condition.
What are post treatment care?
Post treatment care is vital to ensure the treated area heals effectively to achieve your desired results. The following steps should be carefully executed:
Apply an aloe vera or antiseptic ointment to the treatment area
Avoid direct sun exposure during the entire healing process and ensure adequate SPF sun cream is applied and/or clothing is covering the area (this includes tanning beds).
Avoid prolonged exposure to water and avoid excessive heat in the skin for 48 – 72hours post treatment. Excess moisture will hinder the wound/scab from healing
Avoid scratching, picking or touching the direct or surrounding area
Cold packs or a cool cloth may be applied if further discomfort persists
Does tattoo removal hurt?
A client can expect to feel a level of discomfort however pain is an individual experience. Most may compare the pain to a flick from an elastic band.
