Hi. I’m Sabastian and I have a lot of trouble writing so I’m writing this with the assistance of my sister. On Nov. 27th, 2024, I was illegally and violently evicted from my home. The landlord said he was going to move a family member in. When I started asking questions about my rent money, he violently tossed me out of the house by grabbing me by the sweater. I have Cerebral Palsy so he could have really hurt me. I also have schizophrenia and I’m 30 but don’t feel like it. Right now I’m stuck on the streets some nights because disability won’t give me first and last months rent because it hasn’t been 12 months since I claimed it last. Furthermore, my family can’t let me stay at their place because they live in rent geared to income housing. They can’t have more than those named on the lease stay with them because rent is calculated by income. My family is letting me stay when possible but it can’t be every night. I need to find a place. I need support and well wishes. Some nights I’m on the streets and life feels so dark. I got my stuff stolen at the shelter and some people target me because I’m disabled. I don’t know what sharing this will do but at least it will make me feel better. ❤️

It would mean a lot if we could have some support getting me first and last months rent on a new place. We’d need roughly $1600 because rooms in my area are roughly $800 monthly. Please share.
